First off, sorry if I'm not supposed to make threads, I know I'm not like, guild staff...but I had a question anyways.
My girlfriend and I have decided that when we have children we're going to name our daughter Charlotte Sometimes. This isn't like saying "oh, that'd be nice," it is our serious intention. Are we out of our minds, or is this something cool? We thought it was a pretty name and whatnot, but yeah...any thoughts?
And just so you know, it's still gonna be like five years until we have kids, but we've had this name chosen for a while now and it still is our number one choice...

Yeah, well she'd be called Charlotte for short, but her full name would be Charlotte Sometimes (followed by the last name of course...and she wouldn't have a middle name because that would be too confusing)
And as for Robert, I suggested that but my girlfriend thinks it's too boring of a name, so we settled on Trent (after Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails).

Haha...I guess it would make more sense to have her middle name be "Sometimes" ... but she's grow up hating that "Sometimes" in there if it's in her first name. "Charlotte" is good, but I do think that "Sometimes" might be a bit overdoing it.

Robert James Smith and Shadowolf- that is a good idea, but it would sadden my girlfriend and I if she gets married and loses her middle name...I know it's lame of us, but yeah...you're probably thinking more clearly than us though since you're not facing it as your child

Have you actually read the book "Charlotte Sometimes"? Maybe you should read it before you make up your minds if you have not yet. It sounds pretty but it's also kind of morbid seeing the fact she doesn't really know who she is and slips back forty years and shes all confuddled, etc.

It sounds pretty but it's also kind of morbid seeing the fact she doesn't really know who she is and slips back forty years and shes all confuddled, etc. it's an excellent book, highly recomended!
