I think I'm better off alone The Spring Equinox From the little I know about it its basically just celebrating Spring. The one book I've read it says how its to celebrate the Wiccan God rising and coming into his power. And to also remind us about balance in life. This house is not a home

Renkon Root Please explain, what is ostara?
ostara, eostar, spring equinox the goddess blankets the earth with fertility as the god stretches and grows to maturity. the hours of the day and night are equal and light is overtaking darkness. this is the time of beginnings,it is the start in the pagan year of spring. does this explain it good enough or do you need to know more

Not Wiccan, myself, and too new to all this to be able to accurately celebrate. Otherwise, I am indeed excited for spring.
But, could you explain, exactly, how ostara is observed? Is there a celebration, or a ceremony? I can't look up books on the subject of Wiccanism, cause there are no libraries near me. Which really kinda sucks.

It's pretty specific for the different pits and pieces, I think. I hope it doesn't upset you that I'm turning to a website for explanations instead... sweatdrop
