The LighthouseTo the west lies an impassive monument: an abandoned white lighthouse. It was said at various points however, that light could be seen filtering through the fog into the lighthouse. What could it mean?
The treck to the lighthouse itself is a pretty easy straightforward path, in fact it is the closest destination to the beach home base, according to the map dropped by the strange cloaked figure. However, there were way too many "ifs" to the equation. If they got to the lighthouse. If they found the "signal" within the lighthouse. If they made it back.
But now was not the time to worry, but to plow ahead. Focus on the now and not the what ifs.

General Rules:
- Please make sure to check in here EVERY 24 hours to see the newest changes in the travels towards the lighthouse. This post will describe the current settings as the students move closer towards the lighthouse in their group.
- IF YOU ARE KO'ed you will return to base camp! It will take you 12 OOC hours to "catch up" with everyone else at a much faster pace! Simply rp your dissipating, and then coming back to join the group.
- You CANNOT change paths once you have made your choice, so please choose the path carefully!
- On can continue your PRPS and simply change the setting to reflect your destination OR begin new prps! If you are not comfortable with prps, you may simply post int he ORP. Both the ORP and the PRPS have an equal chance of enemy encounters.
- Please mark all lighthouse prps with the tag [Lighthouse][PRP] thank you!
Battle Rules:
- For some reason, the fog has slightly lessened and students may now imbue the most minimal of their Fears into their weapons! This will give their weapon an added bonus attack. Make sure your weapon's appearance reflects a little bit of your character's Fear. Ie: a mummy would have bandages around their weapon perhaps when invoked with their Fear, or a ghost character carry an ethereal-looking blade.
To attack: Roll 2 EIGHT-sided dice. Subtract 6 from the result To evade: Roll ONE eight-sided dice. If odd, you miss, if even, add the total evaded damage to your HP. You can only evade once per battle.

The journey: Day two
The lighthouse is still an impressive distance away, despite being the closest of the three marked locations. In addition, the fog makes the landmark impossibly hard to see, it looks like students will have to rely on walking on the path for now, in hopes they reach their destination.
The terrain, upon reaching the path, is littered with gravel and thick, white rocks. Some of the rocks glow with strange etchings marked on them, but, like the pendants some of the students might have obtained, seem to have no visible effect.

Day Two Notice: The Fog There was no gradual shift in the air or lighting, nothing to give notice to the sudden thickening of the fog around you. One moment you were simply traveling toward the barely visible lighthouse, and the next? The world is a much more grey and terrible place. Your companions no longer in sight, but you feel the definite presence of someone nearby. Possibly beside you, possibly right behind you, but never quite in view. For now the only thing you can do is travel toward the sound of voices and hope for the best. Though it's hard to stay optimistic, when those voices become closer and closer and what you hear is not "Welcome back!" but rather a vicious whisper of "Get out! Get out now!"The OOC The lighthouse path has gotten dangerous in a very different way from the beach. Your student is now lost in the fog. A fog full of less than friendly voices. You will need to make one solo post of at least 505 words for them to be able to escape it and get back to their friends.

EVENT LOG DAY 3: The Insanity
The thick fog is almost unbearable now, enough that not only have students begun to see reapers and semi-solid apparitions, they are now hearing voices all the time, some crying, some calling to them in familiar voices, and others all demanding the same thing. Dying, being released, yearning for company.
Insecurity is very high for students, and they are hitting a point where they don't even know if the people around them are in fact, real? Were these the actual friends they traveled with, or perhaps just apparitions of their own? It is hard to stay on the road, the pinpointed destination is roughly only a day's travel away, but with the onslaught of reapers and the voices, so many voices that echo through each students heads, it looks like the Insanity will claim the students first.
((OOC: Your student is beginning to see things in their post! Along with any posts your students make, you are free to post any sort of "apparitions" or "voices" that talk and cajole the students, making them paranoid, nervous, insecure, or worse. They might not even recognize their friends! All currently ongoing battles and random NPC GM'ed events will be considered happening BEFORE this current turn of events.
Good luck in surviving the day of Insanity, will your student have the mental strength to pull through or will they simply get lost in the fog forever - if they are not already lost in it. ))

EVENT LOG DAY 4: Turning and turning...
A sudden moment of clarity hits all the students, some earlier, some later on during the day, but seems as if the action of the first student has heralded the rest: their bag is missing.
At first, it does not seem like a huge issue, but their backs seem lighter or arms, and the fog seems thicker without a flashlight, the road seems more lost without the pieces of the clues they had spent so long gathering. Yet it makes no sense, some of them just had the flashlights in their hands, where could it have gone...?
As they walk around searching, they finally find, scattered in the fog, pieces of their bag. The flashlight. The note. The pieces.. wait a second... why are there so many pieces. In fact, the further your student walks, the more map pieces there are around them. This CAN'T be right, your student can't even pick up so many pieces, they seem to vanish if the students linger to long in one area.
Even as they struggle to get their belongings back, the fog still stifles them. Something seems odd: are their friends really their friends? Have their friends always had dull, glowing yellow eyes, or was that just a trick of the light? The voices around the students tell them that what they see is indeed true: they can't trust anyone.
((OOC: Please post AT LEAST ONE POST in any location thread with your student losing and then regaining their items. Have them 'seek out' the scattered pieces. In addition, throughout the rps of the day, make sure to maintain the "Insanity" part of the rp. Are the voices real? They seem to be getting louder...
exclaim PLEASE ALSO ROLL THREE SIX SIDED DICE in your RP post. This is mandatory if you would like the next three map clues exclaim The ones you get will be RANDOMised, but hopefully someone in your area has the ones you need and is willing to share... ) !

EVENT LOG DAY 5: A final destination...?
The end of the path you've chosen is now in sight, and as it grows nearer, the insanity begins to recede. Little by little your mind becomes clearer, though the fog remains. The madness that took you doesn't go away completely, though, and perhaps it never will.
