mathis walked into the dorm room hand-in-hand with luna. he suddenly felt nervous. happy but nervous. he would be living here. alone. with luna for the rest of the year. he looked around the room and the bunk beds that they would be sleeping in. his stuff was already on the bottom.

 "Moony, Moony, Moony, Crazy Little Luny, You Are Sweet, You are Strange, Forever Be Odd Little Moony!"
Luna smiled at Mathis sweetly. She walked around the powder blue room. She fixed her golden bed sheets on the top bunk, and walked over to the cluttered dresser. The dark wooden dresser was covered from inch to inch in little knickknacks, and big leather volume books, along with countless sketches. Luna smiled at the sketches tacked up onto the wall.
To the normal person, they would look like the strangest creatures in the world. Not possible to be real. But Luna believed in every one.
Across the room, towards the window, was a old brass telescope. Next to it, paper and a table and a small chair. A pencil and protractor lay discarded on the small table. The roof was covered in a strange sparkly substance. One wall, was dedicated entirely to Vocaloid. Posters covered the walls blue color, the program ads were taped up, and letters from the original androids themselves were plastered all over the wall, along with their numbers, in case Luna forgot.
Luna herself was busy flicking a wand at the TV. The TV flickered to life, as she tucked her hair and the wan behind her ear. She smiled pointing to it. "TV remote."

Mathis had to admit he was impressed. He hadn't had much belongings in the first place so they were all kept under his bed anyways. He smiled at all these things. Buy suddenly it occurred to him that he had just moved in with admittedly an amazingly beautiful girl but he had not one idea of who she was.. he sat down on his bottom bunk."so erm.."

Luna giggled and skipped over. She plopped down on the bed next to Mathis smiling brightly. She swung her legs, crossing her hands in her lap. "You never answered my question, what do you like to do?"

"what do i like to do?" mathis stared ahead for a couple of minutes and thought to himself. "well i like to fly" mathis stretched out one of his wings slightly showing it off. "i like to eat, haha my stomach is like a garbage disposal, and.. i like roleplaying. i find the internet pretty fun, like going onto 4chan." mathis smiled he was much more comfortable now.

Luna smiled sweetly. She giggled. "Really? That's funny. I'm much more of an outdoor person. Well, mostly anyway. My passions are drawing, gardening, singing and dancing. I love to map the stars, and read as well." Luna smiled, her head tilting to the side some.

mathis smiled "haha wow, such talent." the words slipped and mathis blushed slightly but he didn't mind that much "my only good talent is the fact i can fly, but i truely hate these wings. just one of my contradictions i suppose." he sat back thinking. "well i like reading too i suppose, do you read manga? i mean i read real books too but..." mathis was a little unsure, he knew she probably wouldn't mind. but he got embarassed when he went off rambling aboutsomething he liked.

Luna blushed and nodded. "I love manga, but real books as well. As you can see from my dresser." Luna pointed to the thick leather volumes and giggled.

mathis smiled and instantly thought of something "ah!" mathis got on all fours onto the floor and got under the bed where all of his possesions were currently held. mathis rummaged back and forth sticking half of his body under with his rump awkwardly in the air. things clanged and clinked against one another, papers crumpled, and something thudded as mathis replied "ow!"

Luna blinked surprise. She got up and bent on her knees, looking under the bed to see a mess. She smiled dreamily. "Need some help?"

mathis moved aside a box and looked around it to see luna's cute face and beautiful eyes staring back at him. "huh? o-oh, me? nah, it's fine. i'll be ok, don't worry." mathis pulled out a box and opened it. "haha this belonged to an old friend of mine." mathis pulled out some graphic novels all written by the same author. "he was a manga artist."

Luna smiled and took hold of the books. She flipped through them, smiling brighter. "Well, your friend was amazing. His or her works, sing to me." Luna smiled at Mathis, then laid back on the bed, sighing.

"ah, hahaha yeah. he was always real good with that stuff." mathis smiled at luna brightly, he felt himself staring at her eyes unexpectedly. they were a beautiful golden color and his breath felt like it was caught in his throat. he watched as she smiled and laughed at the jokes, and as his now long gone friend touched her heart like he had revived mathis'. "it was a he, he was sort of my teacher... life teacher really. i haven't drawn since he died." mathis gloomed a little but continued with his gaze at Luna.

Luna's smile withered, as she gazed at Mathis sadly. She smiled sadly and gave him a curt nod. Luna knew the feeling of not wanting to do something anymore, out of tragedy. One of her friends, her dear Vocaloid friend, had began to break down a bit. Her creators were cold and merciless. She was uninstalled, and Luna felt as if her heart was ripped out. She didn't sing for weeks after that. She never thought she would sing again, but she began again, and found that it eased the pain.

Mathis smiled but his eyes were still sad. "it's ok though, i still have my wings to preoccupy me though, flying always washes away the pain. of all the ones i've lost. its like the wind in my face is water washing away the grime of my life, ya'know?" mathis stretched and his wings stretched with him. he sighed and yawned walking over to the dorm window and stared out at the courtyard below.
