
Once again on her own, Avia explored a new part of the forest. Her mother was farther away than Avia normally had dared to travel. She would be lucky to get back my night fall at this rate. Not that she cared, really. She felt perfectly safe in these trees. Up a head she could see a ledge dropping down to a pool below. Very curious, she approached, peering over the side. The breeze picked up and she thought of flying, as she did so much of the time. There was little she wanted more than to be able to fly over these trees of her own will. Contemplating, she remained craning over the edge of the cliff.
