Are you a hoarder, or do you sell off the items in your inventory you know you won't wear?
I have been hoarding quite a lot for the longest time. But recently I started posting in the Exchange and selling off some of the items I have had for years and years.
Honestly it feels really refreshing to have this much pure gold. The items have been sitting in storage for so long, it didn't really translate how much gold I really had~
Never had over 1MIL pure at any one time. Now I have 3MIL. O:
At the same time though, I am feeling nervous without my little collection. Pure gold can not increase in value where items can. Yet items can also DEFLATE over time.
It's all so strange and new to me. :3

When I started buying Gaia Cash, I think the most I had at one time was 3mil, maybe 3.5ish. Because I purchase RIG bundles, break it into individuals, and sell them off at 100k each, I can accumulate a mil very quickly. I turn around and use it for mules. xd
In regards to increasing value, Pan addressed hoping prices on items would drop significantly in the future; he wants gold to be worth more, so that item prices drop but gold is more easily attainable. "Don't expect prices to immediately drop -- it takes a while for economic changes to propagate -- but making these changes will make for a more stable economy. While your gold earnings in the market may decrease, you'll still be able to buy the items you want with approximately the same amount of effort."
While this may be a ways off, it does mean that as soon as the staff can manage, gold will increase in value, and items will not, either dropping or remaining as they are now. So sitting on a mountain of pure will be beneficial to you in the long run since Gaia is shifting directions with its economy.

Well when I first started MC's were about 10k to buy ..... now theyare 60-70k
^_^ I hoard but I sold off my.... lusty scoundrel to buy Christmas presents.
Yeah bit most of the s**t i have godfrey can never use. I just keep it in cases my other peeps need it.

Well if you follow the RIG model of 1$=100k letters should be selling for much more than that. S'why Ionly invest in Letters if I want the item or they have Nitemare in the title. xd

I haven't bought a letter in ages. There haven't been many I've liked, truthfully. All the items I like come from RIGs. So I haven't kept up with their worth on the market.
I am gonna invest and hoard in lots of Trendy Dark Skinny Jeans, St Baldur School Uniform Scarf, and all generations of Apprentice Charm. AC because it seems like a cool item to give out in guild contests, but the first two because their prices fluctuate so rapidly, and they're both so useful. Also maybe The Widow.
Maybe next month I can dump like $100 into Gaia and stock up on those jeans.
Josephina, my wandmaker character, has like 300 Harry Potter Wands on her account. 3nodding I'm gonna stock up on snitches and Slytherin scarves this weekend. Trying to hoard before DH comes out.
