More information. Notable LocationsHibiki's Apartment Hibiki’s apartment in the Human World is situated in the outskirts of Gold Coast, Australia. It is a modest building found in Burleigh Waters suburb of the city, which is a part of the Burleigh Heads area. Hibiki works in the James Street area of Burleigh Heads, switching from the various work places as maintaining a single job is difficult, given his role as a Shinigami Captain. The apartment itself is fairly secluded, and was formerly shabby and seemingly rundown before Hei spruced it up. Hibiki’s room is found at the topmost level of the two-story building, and he is fairly close to the staircase leading to the roof of the apartment.
As a last touch, there is a Senkaimon path that leads directly to the rooftop of Hibiki’s apartment. This is labeled as an emergency path, and is only to be used in dire times. Following the retreat of the Shinigami, the Senkaimon was fitted with Reishihenkanki to allow the changing of spiritual matter. Also during this time, Hei acquired the rights to the land and the former tenants have found other accommodations. After buying it up, he made some changes and repaired the entire complex, leaving it oddly spruced up compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Despite this, this site remains Hibiki's HQ in the Human World. Apartment Complex Layout A: The main lobby of the apartment complex serves as a quaint recreation area in which the tenants are able to gather in small groups. Upon entering the front door, there is a short stretch of hallway that terminates with a sitting area at the far end. The sitting area plays host to a couch, two chairs, a fire place, and a coffee table as well as various wall hangings and potted plants. Just before this area is a hallway leading to apartments 1 and 2 to the left and a flight of stairs at the very end, and a hallway leading to apartments 3 and 4 on the right. The stairs leads to the second floor, which plays host to apartments 5-8 from one end to the other. After that is the third floor, which leads directly to a long hallway with a door to the immediate left, which opens to the laundromat, a door on the right in the middle of the hallway which leads to apartment #9, and a door on the far end of the hallway at the left that opens up to storage. The stairwell finally ends as it reaches the roof, which plays host to an emergency Senkaimon. Off to the right of the sitting area, but behind it as well is an elevator, but it does not go to the roof. B: The roof is host to the emergency Senkaimon, but is primarily used for the Shinigami meetings. C: The adjacent lot is no more than an area for play, but the secret of the lot is that there is a hidden door there that leads down into the vast training grounds beneath the surface of the Earth. D: A storage shed where supplies are kept.

1162[Burleigh Waters, Gold Coast, Australia]
After five days in this country, Emi was quite ready to be home; it was uncomfortably warm here, at least 20º hotter than it had been back in Morioka a few days ago, and Emi did not enjoy being sticky from sweat. As she and her friends walked past an oddly spruced-up apartment building, Emi cringed and stopped to set her bag down, unable to take the dripping annoyance between her bosoms. When Aiki and Kumi turned around, she ushered them away since she didn't particularly want to be watched while she dealt with herself in such a manner. "Just go on ahead without me, I'll be right there." The two females shrugged at each other and turned to walk off, albeit at a slower pace in order to let Emi catch up. In the few seconds she had intended to stop for, she made a quick adjustment to her bra, then used her clothes to remove some of the sweat accumulating on her upper body; most uncomfortable if left alone. By the time she was done, she felt a little better, but barely.
Emi was getting ready to leave when the oddest of things caught her attention; out of the corner of her eye she saw a pair of sliding doors, arced into the center and clearly Asian in design. "How odd..." Being the curious girl that she was, she tilted her head and approached the wrought-iron gate that connected both sides of the retaining wall surrounding the front yard. After confirming the absence of a locking mechanism, she pushed it open with her elbow and eased herself inside. Emi paused for a moment to see if anything was going to come after her, and when nothing did, she assumed it to be safe to approach the front door. Upon doing so, she found it locked, the lights turned off, and no noises coming from inside; it looked almost abandoned. While others may have stopped there, deciding that their "adventure" was all over, Emi flashed a sly grin and took a step back. She scanned the lip of the roof, that was her goal anyway, not something inside; if it was abandoned, she needn't worry about getting permission from someone, right?
Reassuring herself that this was indeed the case, Emi turned around and began walking towards the gate once more before stopping after getting a certain distance away from the building. She put her hand bag down, but kept her katana bag shouldered, before sprinting towards the house and utilizing control over the soul that resided in the ground beneath her. As she darted across the ground, it began to bend to her weight as it became rubbery until she finally pushed off the ground, letting it boost her jump like a trampoline on meth, and jumped high into the air, landing on the roof with ease. Quickly, she looked around to see if anyone had seen her, and after feeling certain no one had, she traipsed over to the oddly placed doors and was able to confirm her assumption. She had been right, they were indeed Asian, Japanese to be specific, and what they were doing out here was a mystery to her. Emi took a quick moment to inspect it carefully, running her fingers across the material and checking behind it to discover that they were literally just a pair of doors on the roof without any sort of purpose. "What are you doing here, tell me...?"
[Dangai]
Emi became so caught up in the doors' existence that she failed to notice the Hollow approaching her from behind. She had just attempted to use Fullbring on the doors to see if they would open when she heard the familiar screech of a Hollow and whirled around to see if less than two feet away. Acting purely on instinct, she reached back for Yūnagi, but apparently the blade had other plans. In an instant, the bag made contact with the doors as she turned around, and before she could even grab it, the doors slid open and she fell backwards inside them, the Reishihenkanki embedded in the gate converting her body into Reishi instantly. As she landed on her butt, she winced, shutting out the fact that the doors slid shut in front of her, taking the Hollow with them, and then disappeared into thin air. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw that she was in the oddest of places with no idea how she had gotten there; a damp, dark tunnel with moving walls. Moving... walls. As soon as she noticed this detail, Emiya let out a shriek of terror; kendo training or no, she had no idea what to make of walls that appeared to be made out of slime. It took less than a second for Emi to feel queasy at the sight of this, but the thought of losing her lunch was ripped away from her when she heard something behind her; something big. Whirling around, she could see a faint light in the direction of the noise, far away down the tunnel. Normally, a light in a tunnel would be a good thing, usually standing for an exit, but given the rumbling noise she had heard, it was anything but a good thing.
As quick as a bunny, the young girl tugged her katana from it's bag and clutched it tightly; without any clue of what fate awaited her, she could only choose to defend herself just in case. The noise came again, this time more loudly, and Emi saw the light of what she thought to be a train further away, causing her to do the natural thing and turn tail and haul a**. As she darted down the dark, dank tunnel, she couldn't help but wonder if she had fallen in a sewer of some sort, even though she didn't remember falling that far. After about a minute passed with the sound of the "train" still screaming in her ear, Emiya looked back in horror to see the thing gaining on her, looming over her in all it's slimy, tentacle-y glory. It was like a scene from a tenhai or whatever those boys at her school called it; she would later admit to fearing her innocence would be lost to this thing, and that the only thing she could think of was not giving it away to Kuzumi sooner as she ran like hell. It was then that she realized that she could overtake this thing's speed with her Fullbring ability, and as she began to activate it on her shoes, she felt something tugging on her, making her look back to watch her katana bag being "eaten" by the "train." "Aw c'mon!" Emi let out a shriek and released the bag as it was consumed, and then finally vanished from sight as she used what she called "Jinsokurei" to speed up her running.

__❀ A M A H A R A--M I U ❀ _____________[天原 みうら]___S-Class "Amahara-sensei!" Hearing her name being shouted, Miu stopped walking up the steps that led from the hotel's lobby to the second floor and turned her head around. She was met with the sight of one of the students she was in charge of, Ise Kaoru, and noticed immediately that he was visibly exhausted, filthy, and had clearly just run to the bottom of the steps where he was now standing. Using her tongue, Miu pulled the stick of Pocky between her lips into her mouth, ate it, then answered they boy. "Yes, Ise-kun?" She really didn't want to ask, for she feared the worst; this missing student thing was turning into something she had hoped it wouldn't. "Amahara-sensei, José is... José's missing too. As she had thought, that boy too. He must have noticed the Hollow too, it would explain it's disappearance. After a moment of silence, Miu nodded and continued up the steps. "Understand, contact the Police immediately, they've been gone for too long now..." A useless gesture, the police wouldn't be able to help, but she couldn't exactly tell them the truth. Hurriedly, Miu moved to her room and locked herself in. She set down the stack of papers she had been carrying and picked up the leather-bound journal sitting the edge of her bed before stepping out of herself, literally. When she moved forward, she became two separate bodies, one stationary, the other still talking towards the window on the opposite side of her bed. Throwing open her window, Miu looked outside and then shut her eyes. With great concentration, she was able to pick up a trace of several different spiritual auras that she began to narrow down to Hiiragi Emiya's. Once she had found it, she followed it with her mind's eye, finding that it lead to an apartment in Burleigh Waters.
Miu quickly grabbed her trench coat, shut the window and vanished from sight, left her room, walked down the steps to the lobby and slipped out the front door among a group of people. Once she was away from people that might know her, she inconspicuously became visible again, and began to follow Emiya's aura while keeping an eye on her surroundings. Fifteen minutes later, she was standing outside the apartment building, looking up towards the roof at what she recognized to be a Senkaimon. "Now that's a sight I never expected to see here." Without bothering to open the gate, she altered the ground's property to make it elastic and in a single leap, cleared the fence and landed on the rooftop, only to be met with the sight of a young man sitting in front of the Senkaimon like he was guarding it. Miu recognized him as Emiya's boyrfriend, Tsugawa Kuzumi; he was sitting there, knees close to his chest, and hanging his arms over them while holding a travel bag in one of his hands while staring at the ground. As soon as she had showed up, he perked up, looking in her general direction. Miu somewhat expected this, the bag must have been Emiya's and he had found it, then seen this. She had known the boy was spiritually sensitive, but to what degree she did not know. Looking to her right, she saw two Shinigami tied to the railings, the sight causing a small laugh from the woman. Shaking her head at what she knew to be José's work, Miu traversed the gap between herself and Kuzumi and knelt down, extending her hand with a smile. "Kuzumi-kun, I know where Emiya is. Please, come with me and we can find her together." Looking up through wide-eyes, having heard the best news of the day, he wiped the faint tears from his eyes and scrambled to his feet. Once he was up and out of the way, Miu fished her journal from her coat and help it up to the gate, causing it to react her to spiritually attuned object and slid open to reveal the long, dark tunnel. Kuzumi didn't even bother to question how she had seen the Shinigami or the gate, all that mattered to him was getting Emiya back; questions could be answered at any time. "Quickly now." She said before pushing him the chest, creating a duplicate of the boy in an instant and causing it to fall out of the real thing like it were his soul. Kuzumi didn't even get a chance to see it before he was grabbed by his teacher and felt and odd sensation of his body being light than air. The next thing he knew, he was being blinded by a random light and felt like he was falling.
