It wasn't often that Satomi ventured past the borders of the pride, but the land, the spirits were whispering to that she needed to venture past them today.
The light coated lioness padded carefully away from the protection of the pride shes known all her life, and knew that she didnt need to wander to far to find what, or who she was looking for. And even out this far, with a cry out she could have warriors come to her aid, though she hoped that would not be needed.
She was a peaceful creature.
She had to find him, it was all she knew. Sev had never needed to find another like she needed to find Hak in all her life, it was dire that she found him! And found him within the next couple months, but a few days would be even better!
He had told her of a pride, that he was seeking out to join but she hadnt been able to find anyone to point her in the right direction, or even knew of it. She shook her head, of course he had to pick the pride hardest for her to find.
It was a beautiful day Satomi thought as she glanced around, the weather was warm and a plesant breeze seemed to dance over the land, then again it could be raging with storm out and she would still find the beauty in it.
That was simply her way was all, she found the beauty in most of things in life, even the ugly that no one wanted to look at, she felt it her job to find beauty in even that.
Sev wasn't even sure if Hak would be happy to see her, they had only met a couple of times but, she simply knew that deep down she needed to find him, something important was definately brewing and she wasn't the sort to keep others out of things.
Usually she'd take stock in the beautiful land around her, but her mind was busy, she was busy looking for him, oh once she found him she wasn't going to walk for two full days she thought with a light laugh.
It seemed like the other lioness was busy with thought Satomi mused as she watched her silently, it wasnt hard to see her mind was a million miles away, as she strode over the land but as the wind whispered into her ear, she nodded her head.
So this young lioness was who she saught was she? And why? She was very curious about this way, but she supposed she would find out sooner or later what was to come.
"Hello there!" Satomi called out in a friendly manner, her body was relaxed and her tail slack behind her as she watched and waited.
At the sound of anothers voice, Sev's head jerked up in surprise! How had she missed the scent of this lioness? That was simply dangerous she thought with a mental scold to herself, as she eyed the other carefully she noted how at ease she was, and it too somehow put her at ease as well.
"Greetings stranger." Sev replied as she grew closer to the unknown lioness. "Im Sev, and do hope Im not wandering all over your home." She said with a soft laugh.
"Satomi, and no no, well the earth is home to all of this but this land is not my home." She said hoping she made any sort of sense. She didn't get to talk with outsiders often, though those not born to her pride werent outsiders in her eyes once they joined but simply a missing piece of family.
"You seem lost, or to have lost someone." Satomi said with a nod of her head, "Perhaps I could be of aid?"
"YES!" Sev replied with joy, somehow this lioness could sense she was looking for someone, and at the moment she didnt question it at all, simply accepted the offer. "Im looking for Hak, well a lion who said he was off to find a pride.." She laughed. "Though I don't know the name of this pride." She sighed. This is where she always hit a dead end.
"Well, many pass through or near the pride I call home, perhaps I've seen him?" Satomi offered, though the name rang some sort of cord in her memory. "Can you tell me what he looks like?"
"Hak is a big lion, though he has gentle two toned eyes. One is green and the other is red I believe..hes a grayish blue with vibrant pink/violet markings all over his body and tail." Sev could picture him almost perfectly in her mind, which often then lead her to thoughts of their last encounter and her cheeks flushed deeply.
"Well, yes I believe I know where to find your Hak." Satomi said with a grin, she could see the emotions pass over Sev's face clearly and wondered if she would be reunting to mates who had gotten lost from one another. "Come with me.."
Sev couldnt believe her ears, this Satomi knew Hak, and knew where he was?! Oh by the gods she couldnt be happier to finally be a step closer to finding him. She almost pounced Satomi with joy, but instead did a happy little jig as she grinned like a fool. "Thank you so much!" she said as she then nodded her head and waited to follow the lioness.
"It seems your Hak is a memeber of my pride." She said with a nod, turning as she let her paws carry her home, the breeze ruffling over her coat in a pleasant manner that she quiet enjoyed. "Im sure he'll be happy to see you once again Sev, I couldnt imagine being seperated from my mate." She said, though her thoughts of her own mate werent so homey, and guilt panged her greatly.
Satomi thought Hak, was her mate Sev thought with a half smile, she couldnt be so lucky as to find love, she'd lost it once ago and had never found it again though Hak did make her a great deal happy, but she wondered now, why she wasn't correcting Satomi, that Hak was simply her friend? Maybe her silence spoke of her longing for it to be truth?
At the Sev's silence, Satomi only nodded her head and continued forward. "You'll have to meet our King, or Queen before you can be with Hak, but Im sure you'll find that its not that hard to gain an audiance with either of them. They're both great hearts." She said with a nod of her head, she had a great fondness for her rulers, specially for her King who seemed to understand her, he was her dearest friend it seemed. No other sort of feelings sparked, simply the warmth of an old friendship. "Here we are." Satomi nodded, before talking to a couple of the guard and then nodded once more. "It was a pleasure meeting you Sev, and I hope your with Hak again soon."
Sev bowed her head to Satomi, she had a feeling the lioness was important to the pride and had much wisdom within her, but prides made Sev very nervous, perhaps she could simply send word for Hak? And have him meet her outside the pride, she peered past the guards curiously before she shivered, she'd definately need his aid in this she thought, but could she do it? Could she lean on another for help?
It would seem, only time would tell.
