There had been a lot to think about since the latest mission, and a few things that she couldn't help but worry over, despite how much useless she knew worrying was. One of those things had to do with her Pokemon... she understood that there wasn't anything she could have done different... the fact of -who- they had been up against was made a huge different. but it didn't matter the situation, seeing your Pokemon being taken out one at a time so -easily- was unnerving... she needed to get better, and she wasn't quite sure how to do that on her own.
Thankfully, there was an option presented to the Grunt Faleen... an Agent she had met before, named Mau, had offered to lend his knowledge in Pokemon training, and help her improve. Faleen was quick to accept this offer, willing to do what it took to help strengthen her team.
A date and location had already been e-mailed tot he grunt, and she had made sure to show up to the training room early as to not leave the Agent waiting on her. Stepping into the room, she glanced around it for a second to see what kind of surface they had to work with... a pool, good. She let out a soft sigh, stepping further into the room, and letting her hands fold behind her back, pacing softly as she waited.

Mau really had no intention of being early to a training session. He sauntered down the hall with a blue eyed vaporeon pouncing on any speck of dust or flash of light he saw close behind him. "Aki." Mau said just outside the door. The vaporeon stopped and looked at him curiously, but composed himself. "Very good." Finally, he pushed the door open and glanced about, looking for his pupil for the day. Ah good, she was already here.
"Faleen." He greeted casually. His informal tone was a stark contrast to his dress; clean pressed dark slacks, a button up white shirt covered with a dark aqua satin vest made him seem as though he were attending a high profile business meeting. "Glad you could make it." He stopped short of where she was, a smile on his face. Aki's tail was waving slightly as he really really really wanted to be pet by this new fun person. A warning glance to Aki told the vaporeon not to be a pest.
"Are you ready?"

Wehn the Door opened, the dark blond grunt turned to face it, standing up straight and politely smiling in return as the Agent made his way over to her. She herself was in a Grunt's uniform, like usual, though she greatly apresiated Mau's sense of style, very dignified. "Mau, Sir." she greeted in return, glancing down at the Vaporeon that was with him for a moment before she looked back up at Agent Mau. with a confirming nod, she lowered her hand down to her pokeball's to show she had her team. "Yes sir, we are ready to begin"

"Good." Mau said with a smile before walking past her and sitting down on one of the weight training benches. "Let's start by taking a look at your team then, shall we?" He casually grabbed one of his pokeballs and released the creature within. Nuu, the strange blue, newly evolved drifblim floated out and looked around. There were lots of shiny things around here, but wait, she couldn't grab things and run today. Master person made that very clear. Instead, she floated around Faleen once then back to Mau. Nuu remembered the girl person. She had interesting shiny things last time.
"Blim?"

Faleen followed his progress, turning to face him while he walked over to sit down on the bench. It was here that he reached to one of his pokeballs, and called out one of his other Pokemon... one that Faleen did recognize, though it seems to evolve. She eyes it for a moment, glad that her toolkit was more securely strapped to her belt this time. Following its progress around her once, before returning her attention to Mau.
"My pokemon sir." She repeated him, reaching down to pull out two pokeballs, and two dusk balls. Leaving a third pokeball at her thigh. From the pokeballs called out an Umbreon, and Banette. from the Dusk Balls, an Absol, and into the Pool she dropped Sharpedo.
Umbreon turned to walk back over to his master, glancing at Mau and his pokemon as he went. Banette looked around with more curiosity, "Ba Banette!" he seemed to chuckle, and suddenly vanished from visible sight.
Absol remained where he had been called out, though his eyes were scanning the man, Vaporeon and Drifbilm silently. The Sharpedo in the pool, remand rather calm, just swimming around in the pool with his long fin poking up from the water, able to watch his progress through the water. "This is my current team." Faleen introduced, while Umbreon sat himself next to her boot, and Banette reappeared on the other side, floating by her head.

Mau vaguely remembered seeing a sharpeedo on the last mission. So it was Faleen's? "You specialize in... Dark type then?" He eyed the Banette though. It wasn't a dark type. But then, having some variety on your team was good. His eyes were drawn back to the Sharpeedo. Hadn't it done fairly well when fighting? Maybe it was because he hadn't seen a sharpeedo in person until the caves that he remembered seeing it at all.
"And you don't need to be so formal today. This is just..." He thought for a moment. "...one friend helping another." He stood up again, and looked at each of the pokemon. "Who do you work with the most?" He asked curiously. The umbreon had been used in the sparring match they'd had some time ago. "And what sort of moves do they know?" Mau wanted to get his hands on the pokemon, to inspect them. He couldn't help it. It was research! But approaching and touching pokemon who don't know you was usually dangerous. Usually. He was reminded about Aki as the Vaporeon had gotten distracted and was now batting at one of Nuu's wiggly limbs.

She blinked, but it was followed by a calm smile, looking grateful. "Thank you kind Mau" She relaxed her posture, and knelt down, a hand finding Umbreon's shoulders. He glanced to his master when she touched him. "Most of my time has been put into Umbreon here, as well as Absol since I caught him" she answered. before turning her head to the pool where Sharpedo was splashing around now. "He's my newest addition, and recently been taking most of my time while I tried to tame him." She was quite proud of the progress she's made with him, the fact he doesn't try and bite a chunk out of her was good thing. She looked back over at him, naming the attacks that they knew. "I'm trying to teach Umbreon a couple of new moves though, to help with a wider range of battles. one of the moves though Is Moonlight,"

"Moonlight, hm? And what would you be replacing?" He knelt down not too far from her and the pokemon she had out. "But you do know you've left yourself weak to bug types. Have you thought about including a fire move on anyone?" He glanced at the absol. "I believe you could teach your absol Fireblast." He thought about it a little more. Though fighting would also still be a problem. None of your pokemon have a psychic or flying move." He rested an elbow on his knee, cupping his chin as he looked between the quadrupeds, then glanced back to the pool where the shark was swimming. And he lost sight of the ghost at the moment.
"You thought about incorporating any of those into your lineup? If you had something with flying moves, you could cover bug and fighting in one go." He said thoughtfully. "Hidden power would be risky..." He may have gotten distracted in his own thoughts.

"I very rarely use the move substitution with Umbreon, so I was thinking he might need to learn Moonlight in its place." she said with a soft nod, looking back down to share a glance with her darkest pokemon. "I'm thinking about a different type move to replace one of the dark ones he knows, but I havn't decided yet. as for Banette, I want him to learn Curse. the more I read up on it, the more I like it."
At his last suggestion, she smiled politely, looking over at Absol "He covers my flying type move, he knows Ariel Ace."

Mau blinked for a moment, snapping out of his musing. "Wait, really?" He hadn't caught it when she had listed their moves before. He smiled some. "Well, that does cover that then." With a laugh he waved it off. "It's always good to have a wide pool to draw from for moves if you're going to specialize in a single type. I suppose it's even harder for you since you don't have a full team yet. Have you thought about branching into other types? Or do you think you'll stick with dark only?"

The corner of her mouth twitch a little when he asked that, "I've... considered it before, but it didn't work out very well" she replied, glancing down for a second at the pokeball that had remained on the strap. "I work better with dark types, so I would like to specialize in them, Banette's the only other non dark type I have, and I like having him around." She glanced up at the Ghost. "I can't exactly say for the future for sure, but my focus is on dark types... yes."

Mau nodded. He completely understood. "When I was younger, aside from Aki, I specialized in grass types. While I would return to that specialty in a heartbeat, at the moment, it's completely illogical." That earned him a smack in the back of the head by Nuu, who now was really bored, and annoyed that he would abandon her and the others. Mau laughed. "Relax Nuu, I'm not going to get rid of you, or anyone." Nuu only huffed in annoyance and floated away.
Returning his attention back to Faleen, he offered "Perhaps you'll have a dual specialty. Ghost types can be quite fun."

"I'm thinking its wise not to rule anything out." She admired, if the chance came up that she could use anther dark type, she would take it. but she had a lift of pokemon she really wanted, and those would be pokemon she really wanted to work with. Tilting her head a little when The pokemon named "Nuu" smacked Mau, it seemed they had a rather casual relationship with one another.
Absol had stalked his way over to the small group, eying the other pokemon, and cautiously and curiously sniffing at Mau's jack as he came over,
"The Team I want has a mixture of types while staying consistent with Dark, such as Sharpedo."

Mau nodded. "Dual types are a wonderful thing." He admitted. "You can indulge in your specialty, while still working with other types." When the absol came closer, Nuu backed up some. Mau glanced at the pokemon. "Does he like any particular kind of berry?"
Aki perked up at the mention of berries, and scooted closer to Mau. He rumbled something happily at the Absol, and Mau had a feeling it was something about food.

Faleen to looked over at Absol when he got closer to Mau, but at the mention of Berries, she gave him a confused look "Berry? Uh... I'm not really sure. I haven't seen him eat berry before" she admired. from what she understood, Absol were carnivores, hers tended to take up hunting when she let him out.
Absol lifted his head again, dark gaze turning to look over at the Vaporeon that was moving closer. blinking at him. "Ab... sol"
