Deep Forest
Marcus had been taking a ride through the forest patrolling the area. There were recent reports of stirring activity in the Forest. He particularly loved night rides through the forest. He rode fast on one of the horses he used. The trees stirred as he sensed them then. Several Lycans caught onto his scent and they had begun to chase him. However he could not face them right away. He needed to get what he knew back to his mother.

 Deep ForestAfter being attacked by the small group of assassin's he had noticed a castle that smelled strongly of vampires. After he had done that, Rai had simply cast several of his shadow runes over his body to nullify his scent completely, as well as make his aura barely noticable. The forest he was in seemed much different compared to the one encircling the city. Rai was making little to no noise as he jumped from tree to tree utilizing tree branches as stepping stones along the way.
He heard the sound of galloping foot steps and turned in time to see a man, with a scent of a vampire, streaking off on a horse. A flicker of movement behind that man had Rai puzzled. What is it he is running from? The the scent of lycans hit his nose and Rai knew the danger that man was in. Flexing his legs he redirected himself and with light steps he was able to keep up with the horse while not leaving the tree branches.
With another quick redirection he was from the man's left to his right as he did he saw a lycan in pursuit and decided he would take care of it. Unsheathing his twin bladed sword without a sound he dropped from the trees and landed on the beasts back and drove the blade straight through the lycans skull. The blade was not silver but the blow was quite fatal as he slashed outwards removing brain matter along with his blade. Launching himself back into a nearby tree and concealing himself in the shadows he watched and waited to see if the other lycans would stop pursuit in order to check on their now dead pack mate.

Deep Forest
Marcus rode fast, but he felt the life of one Lycan vanish. Not only did he sense this, but another heart beat filled his ears, and senses. Someone was following him. Who or why, was not truly important at this exact moment. He would find out soon enough though. He broke the treeline and saw the castle not far. One Lycan had found itself on Marcus' right closing in on him. Marcus deciding to face it. He stopped suddenly turning to the right. He laid down on his horse, bring the sword around and up. Sliced the Lycan in two from mouth to tail. A quick and sudden whine was heard as he then continued going for the castle.

The man handled riding a horse quite well. As he had dispatched another lycan, Rai's interest peaked. Extracting himself from his hiding spot he again used his pwerful legs and the trees to keep up with the galloping horse. He was able to slowly close the distance as he rode, but with his constant lookout for other lycans or creatures that might do the man harm it was slow. For now he was content with just following behind him.

"Why must you do this to me?." ♦♦♦ Selene pulled her horse to a stop and she leap down and touched the Lycan tracks. "So they have been here." She said to herself as she touched the blood next to the tracks. "There was blood shed?" She asked herself as she got back onto the horse and followed the tracks. ♦♦♦

Castle Kill Zone
Marcus could sense another near him, but did not bother with him just yet. This individual seemed to be simply following and not doing much, other than helping Marcus. Marcus could see the fires of the Castle and they could see him. The alarm sounded as the Castle could see the last two remaining Lycans chasing not far behind him. These Lycans were not that smart if they thought they could get this far alive.

After a few hours of exploring the forests in this land Lucifer found himself lost in this completely, but homely environment that was a forest of darkness, no light to be seen other then the moon-light, he strolls around randomly, enjoying the dark, quiet atmosphere. "And here I thought my mercenary camp was in a good tactical place, this forest is almost home for me" he thinks to himself as shadows follow behind him, some of them stroking along his arms as he reaches out to watch them. "I wonder what created this forest" he asks himself aloud as he continues to stroll around.

Lucifer stops suddenly, looking up at the the woman before him. "My name is Lucifer" He tells her. As he places his hands in his pockets he asks "This homely piece of land is yours?"

"Nice to meet you, I would tell you what im lord of, but, I even I dont know that, born from darkness itself" He says as he keeps an eye on his back. "Im sure your subordinates would be somewhere around here, their queen out in the middle of the forest to greet a stranger like myself, I dont sense any...I could try to kill you, but, from them not being here, you know how to look after yourself, plus, im just here for a stroll, no fighting for me im afraid, so, why did you come and not assassins or scouts to watch my movements?"

"Why must you do this to me?." ♦♦♦ "If I am already outside my castle walls I will do things myself." She told hi as she cleaned Lycan blood off her sword. "So tell me were do you hale from?" She asked him. She hard rustling behind him and smelled Lycan, but ignored it for now. ♦♦♦
