Eirene paused mid-air, realizing that she was close to the tribe and that it would be better for her to land. She wanted to surprised her big brother, and flying over his newly revived tribe was not conducive to surprising him. She didn't know how many foxes had decided to join the tribe, but she was hoping that somehow she would be able to sneak onto the lands and startle her big brother, one of her favorite pass times. She hadn't seen Horus in years, and now that she was finally old enough to leave home she wanted to see her big brother, and possibly join the old tribe.
Pausing on the outskirts of the desert, she knew that it wasn't that far to the tribe, and she was trying to think of the best way to approach it.

Amatsu had been looking forward to the trip for well eons, ever since he had been a little kid. Kaname had often told him stories and tales of the old Kemet tribe and his friend that was supposed to become the next elder. So of course with Amatsu’s love of old cultures he had always wanted to go to kemet and then apparently the tribe had been restarted. It wasn’t to the glory that it once was but the monuments and temples and things where still around and not to mention Kaname had been asking Amatsu to visit for ages.
So Amatsu had finally left to go and visit his old friend. He knew it would be sort of interesting to see because apparently Kaname had gotten himself a mate and a family some time during the length they hadn’t seen each other. The only problem was that Amatsu had gotten a bit lost. Well that might be an understatement. He was totally lost and stuck in a desert. He still had plenty of water, which was one of the things Kaname had drilled in him to take plenty of, but he was tired of flying around and the hot sand was really starting to burn Amatsu’s feet. Okay so probably not the best idea he had ever had.

Looking over her shoulder she felt the sudden sensation that she wasn't alone. And over the years she had learned to trust her instincts, and right now they were telling her someone was out there but most likely they weren't a threat. But just to be on the safe side, vixen's could never too be careful after all. Eirene walked into the desert, keeping a watchful eye on her surrounding in case some unfortunate soul decided to attempt attacking her.
Going over a dune however, she was met with the unusual sight of a male phim, a bright purple one at that, standing at the bottom of a dune. And quite honestly, this peaked her more curious nature and she decided that he warranted further investigation. "The sand gets quite hot if you stand still like that." Eirene called down to him in a jovial tone, "It would be better for you to keep walking, unless of course you're lost." She smiled at him friendly.

Amatsu quickly took another drink of water and wiped off a bead of sweat from his brow. This heat was so miserable and he was having a hard time remembering Kaname's directions. Even if he was tired maybe he should ascend back into the air again. apparently he was dying no matter if he had plenty of water as a beautiful phim came down and landed near him. He quickly realized she was real and he was perfectly fine causing him to blush. "I am afraid I sort of got lost. I was trying to get my bearings before Kaname finds me off in the desert all shriveled up and mummy like" Amatsu admitted blushing even harder. Oh why couldn't she just be an angel and not a pretty girl he had shown how foolish he was in front of. The modeities hated him that had to be the only explanation.

"Kaname.....I am not familiar with the name...However it is possible that he is part of the tribe that my big brother as reestablished....Where else could your friend be afterall." She chuckled, "This is the desert, many do not travel out here." Eirene flashed him a coy smile. The purple phim was blushing, if the pinkish tint on his cheeks was any indication. She found it quite charming, and flattering. Smiling, she walked down closer to him. "If you wouldn't mind the company I suggest that we travel together. It would be much safer in a group, and I remember the way to Kemet. As long as you don't mind a female as a guide."

“Ah yes Kaname is um… what did he say again. Ah Kaname is the Shaman for Kemet, well the head one? Oh this heat is making it hard to think. However he is from Kemet yes” Amatsu answered taking another sip of water, oh where was his manners here he was drinking in front of some one trying to help him out. “Yes I would assume so but unfortunately it was the only way for me to get to kemet from my last place of residence. It wouldn’t have been so bad if I hadn’t gotten lost. Hot weather normally doesn’t bother me this much, really” oh he should just stop babbling on. “Companionship would be wonderful and don’t worry I don’t care about gender what so ever. Everyone is good at their own things”

Eirene looked at him worriedly, was the heat affecting him worse then she originally thought? "Perhaps you should duck your head in the water....you sound a bit addled...." She walked over to the small bit of water and took a drink. She had been traveling very long without water. After taking her fill, she looked back up at the male with a friendly smile. "My name is Eirene.....Horus, The Pharoh, is my big brother.....I've come to surprise him." In all honestly she missed her brother terribly. He hadn't be able to visit in the longest time because he was rebuilding the tribe and couldn't leave.
"I would not mind traveling with you.....Oh....My apologizes Sir....I have not caught you name yet." She smiled.

“Ah no its just a bad habit of mine, I tend to just babble on a bit. Silly I know” Amatsu said weakly although did splash a bit of water on his head. He tilted his head to the side as she told him her name and why she was headed out to kemet as well. “ah that’s kind of cool. I haven’t met Horus but I have heard lots of stories. I guess that’s another reason I’m making the trek out here as well so that perhaps I can get a face to go with all Kaname’s tales. I bet he’ll enjoy the surprise. I definitely would at least.
“well we will definitely need to change that traveling partners should at least know each others name. My name isn’t as pretty as yours I’m afraid” Amatsu started with a slight pout. “but others call me Amatsu. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.

Eirene chuckled as she looked at the purple phim, "You think that my name is pretty?" She smiled at him, "Thank you....that is....so very sweet." She took one last drink of water, "I do hope that my brother will be happy to see me...I have so longed to see him again." She sighed and looked off to the side. "He has been too busy to come home...Oh but you don't need to hear my sad sob story." She waved at him with a paw, "Come on..." She inclined her head, "We might as well start moving now." She chuckled. "I hope to reach there in a couple of days."
She turned to the side and looked at the sand dune, "Hm....You're wings are tired yes?" Eirene cocked her head back to look at him. "Amatsu....i really like that name...It flows off the tongue...." She smiled at him friendly, "Come on....we can walk until your wings are up to flying again."

Amatsu’s eyes locked with hers as she looked over him and he tilted his head to the side blushing. She was really pretty. He wished he was better with girls. All growing up he had been surrounded by guys. For a while he thought girls where a myth. Of course he was extremely young at the time. “Uh yes, it is a pretty name really. Sounds a bit Celtic but at the same time could fit in with Egyptian culture. Names are very powerful things and if you have a good name then life will be easier.” He stated sprouting off some ancient thing again. “Ah as siblings he should. I mean even though he is busy with the tribe if you are going out to see him I am sure he would look forward to the visit.” Amatsu spoke up changing the subject. “Brothers may be a bit rough and seemingly hard at the time but they do cherish their younger siblings. I mean they should at least. “ His face fell at the mention of a couple of days. Well at least he had met Eirene he probably would have surely become a mummy in the desert. “Yeah they are a bit tired. I live a good way a ways from here, or at least I did. “ He blushed a bit at the comment of his name but continued to walk after Eirene nodding.

Eirene laughed, "I do not believe that anyone has ever complimented my name more then you have in the last five minutes. Thank you Mister Amatsu...I am very flattered by your compliments." She bowed her head, then stopped and listened to the rest of his speech. "Of course....we can walk if your tired." She smiled at him. "I do not mind walking, that was why i landed in fact....To give my wings a rest...You never want to overtax them....Never know when you might drop straight out of the sky."

"Ah mmmm well you asked if that was what I thought so... um you're welcome" Amatsu stated. Oh why in the world did he have to be so shy. He should be better than this. Was it because females where just so hard to talk to. He was a phim... a phim and they didnt get nervous right?. "yes dropping out of the sky would be bad, in fact landing every once in a while isnt a bad thing, after all you never know when you are going to need your wings to outfly something or run away from something that wants to make you dinner." he pointed out nodding.

"Yes....falling out of the sky is a very bad thing...and it is not something that I would want to do any time soon." Eirene giggled. "So i suggest that we walk until your wings are feeling up to flying again." she smiled at him as they walked up a dune. "Uh..." She listened to him and then burst out laughing. "Oh....Oh Amatsu....you make me laugh..." she smiled at him. "Yes...let us not get eaten either."

“It shouldn’t be too long. I’ve been walking around for a while so I should be recovered soon but walking doesn’t sound too bad” Amatsu stated nodding his head. He wished he would stop being so nervous. He was getting a little better but his face was still quite red and he comment about being funny only made his face redder. “I make you laugh? Uh that’s a good thing right?” he stated still quite shy around her. “yes getting not eaten is good. I’ve been wanting to visit Kemet grounds for a while now” he stated nodding and continued following after her.

"Of course that is a good thing..." She smiled over at him, "I enjoy laughing very much..." Eirene smiled at him softly, then looked over the desert. "It might be a dry place, but i do believe that the desert is so very beautiful this time of year." Laughing again she looked back at Amatsu, "I will not allow us to get eaten. I know many of the tricks used to survive out here...Horus taught me very well..." She smiled at the thought of her brother.
