This is going to sound crazy to my fellow supernatural fans. But, see way back in season 3, I missed a good chunk of the finale. I decided I was going to wait till I bought it on DVD and was perfectly caught up to start watching the new season. But I never got around to it. I guess partly I was getting annoyed with the, I die for you you die for me circle.

Then I would catch glimpses of it on TV and I was like, great, the world is ending again, and Sam has no soul and this is just getting stupid. So I had no motivation to catch up.

Well I was bored yesterday so I started watching again. I feel bad for thinking all of that, because, yes, the plot still annoys me, with the whole ZOMG apocalipse and Angels and bla bla bla. But the boys are still great and there are still some die from laughter episodes. Like right now I'm on the episode where Dean is afraid of everything. When he screams at the kitten. DIED OF LAUGHTER. And the ep before that with the old horror movie angle. Priceless.

I should be caught up soon I can't stop watching.

P.S no spoilers please but are you happy with the direction Supernatural has taken? Favorite season? Ever miss an episode and how did you deal with it?

Edit: Ugh, I have to say, I still don't like where this is going. Yes there were a couple of really good episodes. Most of which where they're not really discussing or even mentioning the apocalypse. But the Sam drinking demon blood like a vamp? WTF and writting in a brother but killing him off, hated that, not so much the killing him off but the writting him into it. And the angels and the apocalypse and the Dean being a vessel both Dean and being "the chosen one" to stop the apocalypse meanwhile Sam was the chosen one to start it. Barf. Seriously, This is getting ridiculous. And I get the feeling it's gonna get worse.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE FREAKING KIDDING ME! Sam is the vessel for the devil and Dean is the vessel for the angel who can kill the devil. UGH, Can it get any more retarded. Probably.

WELL! I still love spn.. so I'd say to keep with it. After season 5 all those story lines are pretty much wrapped up so no more vessel crap.. but yeah Sam doesn't have his soul for the first 10ish eps in s6.. but I still love it all. They have a lot of good mythology episodes now instead of the wide arc for angel/heaven/hell ness... but if you keep feeling so frustrated maybe you should just stop. I wouldn't want you to hate it and it may be best to leave on a high so you have good memories blaugh

I think it's too late for that lol. I'm all caught up. I still, enjoy it, but, I still believe the story line has gotten really lazy. For one, the boys seem to have died more times than I can count. It's constantly the end of the world. I'm glad there's no more vessel crap, or Sam being all super powers and crap. But I miss the first and second season where they just, fight a different mythical creature each episode. And I've seen too many series make this mistake. Dark Angel, where I first discovered Jensen. GREAT first season, second season was just messed up. Still enjoyed, still sad when it got cancelled, but wasn't surprised. Angel/Buffy. Both had great first and second seasons, and once again, end of the world every season, gets tiring.

I'd also like to say, WTF what about their other brother? They're just gona leave him in hell with Michael and Lucifer? They might have forgotten about him but I didn't! Another sloppy move IMO.

I know this isn't the place to complain about the show, but I only complain because I care, because I loved this show and am disapointed with all they've done.

I'm still watching though. Every now and then they make a classic, like that TV spoof episode, or the old school movie episode. And I will follow Jensen wherever he goes, cause he will always be my favorite actor and I will continue to support whatever he does.

They do mention Adam every once in a while.. but they haven't been able to do anything about him and he can't really be a priority since the actor's gone on to do other things.. Did you see the latest episode? People who've been on spn before, even if they've died, they're never truly gone. Even Daddy Winchester may be back at some point. Everyone loves JDM.

I just wish that they would tie up that end. And just be like, okay our brother is no longer suffering in hell. (and I don't understand how Gabriel got him in the first place since he had to say yes to him)

The western episode was awesome. Jensen is always too good looking for his own good.
