Here's the thread to discuss one of the best drummers out there, Mr. Hector Tico Samuel Juan Torres.

Tico's life as a musician began when he was just nine years old. "I've always loved the drums and knew I could play well if I just had the chance. I would practice every day and night on the kitchen table with sticks, broken pliers, anything I could get my hands on. When I was fourteen and finally broken all the wooden spoons in the house, my grandmother bought me my first drum kit and signed me up for lessons." Tico explains.
That was many years ago, and Tico hasn't stopped playing since. His ability has earned him the privilege to record hundreds of award-winning songs for musical artists including Miles Davis and Cher. As an original member of the internationally famed rock band Bon Jovi, Tico's musical talent and popularity is exemplary. At present, Tico is on tour with Bon Jovi to showcase their latest CD, Have a Nice Day.
As an accomplished visual artist, Tico founded ART de TICO, an outlet for his many acrylic and watercolor paintings. I opened two art galleries in Palm Beach a few years ago to launch my art from an affection to a business. When a few music tours were scheduled, I began to show the art through private sales? said Tico. "I love to paint, I am constantly creating. I take my brushes and paints with me on the road and get inspired with every country we tour in so it's always fresh."
Multi-faceted in both art mediums and creativity, and coupled with his passion for golf, Tico has created The Majors Collection, a series of bronze lift casts of golf grips of some of the world's greatest professionals including; Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Nick Price, Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros and more. This anthology was expanded to the world of professional tennis players including; Billie Jean King, Christ Everet, Martina Navratilova, Rosie Casals, Pam Shriver, Magnes Gustafson, Guilermo Vilas, Peter Fleming and the Jensen Brothers.
Last, but certainly not least, is Tico?s genius designed Rock Star Baby, a children's clothing line so trendy and cleverly done, it triumphed Tico with the VH-1 Musician/Fashion Designer Award.
Tico and family, his wife Alejandra and son Hector, have made their home in Palm Beach County.
