I know this sounds ridiculous but could someone PLEASE tell me why I should finish my social studies project? I've been really depressed lately and just need some motivation Dx
It was due Monday... but tomorrow's Wednesday... and if we don't turn it in by Friday we fail the course. But I just can't find the motivation to care >_>;
So even though it sounds silly & you're probably laughing at my stupidity, PLEASE give me one good reason to care =/

But what you said is true, things will only get harder if I don't do it...That's what it was there for dear XD Tbh, I've done things both ways and it always ended up being much easier and less stressful to just get the work done on time. Maybe you should just grab an mp3 player or something (I would say ipod but if you have anything other than music on it then it really wont help) and your homework then go somewhere quiet and to yourself to work on it. If you have no distractions you should be able to finish it fairly quickly ^^

Oh man, I've been there.
I was there for two whole quarters in school.
Didn't get along with my parents.
Didn't want to do anything.
Felt like bursting out in tears for no reason about every other day.
It's not fun to go down that road at all.
My motivation now is to right my wrongs, and work towards a special goal of mine that would not be able to happen if I failed or did poorly in my classes.
Think of something you absolutely love that would be severely hindered by a poor grade and the results of such.
And how happy you will be when when you reach your goal. owo

Ah I know how it is to procrastinate and not have any kind of motivation to finish something. What I do is I tell myself I'll treat myself to something I love (sunflowers, favorite food, video game, whatever) once I finish. I'll even stop myself from texting friends until I get it done, and that's when I start getting things together.
I look at it like, "Okay, in three small hours, I will be done with this, or at least have a good start." and I think about it as "three whole hours of of twenty four, that's really not a lot, I can do it!" type things. And I listen to motivational music whilst doing it. That always helps me a lot.

You don't want to be re-taking a stupid class with a bunch of underclassmen once you hit senior year. You'll want room in your schedule for fun stuff! =]
It's a required course, so yeah. Just pass it to graduate. That's the only reason I passed Economics, which was all stupid busy work...
