The area the Research Facility was located in was at the edge of the higher end district bordering what the people in the area called the warrens. It was often a place the homeless sought refuge and just like rabbits they would pop up out of no where. The buildings were tall and close together, their structure obviously old but sturdy. The streets were in ill repair and covered in filth.

The building, or buildings, in question were in much better repair than anything close by. Surrounded by a tall chain link fence with barbed wire circling the top, it gave the impression of a prison at first sight. The parking lot was expansive, giving a little idea of how many people worked there during the day though in the late hours, as it was now, there were only a few cars littered here and there.

Flood lights kept the general area lit, but as with most security systems there were shadows and blind spots the cameras could not see. So to help aid the technological front a guard was posted in several places to help keep a look out, making rounds at scheduled times. One or two had a dog with them, though the animals seemed rather relaxed, nothing ever seemed to happen to warrant keeping their attention at its fullest.

After doing a quick surveillance of the surrounding area, Shun went on and parked his bike a fair distance away from the set of buildings. Hopefully no bums would try to pull anything on his ride while he was out or there'd be hell to pay. This part of town was just filthy, which made the research facility stick out as clear as day.

Still keeping his distance for the time being, he waited for his cohort as he placed his mask on. While he didn't necessarily care for working for Suto, this really wasn't all that different from his normal 'duties'. In fact, there really weren't any differences when it came to the actual job.

As he waited, he idly looked over a map he had been given of the layout, making sure he had a relatively clear idea of what the inside was like. While he was at it, he brought out a small syringe and sampled his blood. It was enough to probably last him for this job. Once it was filled, he applied a small bit of pressure on the plunger to create a recall point right where he stood. Capping the tip, he put it away and leaned against the wall.

Aside from the syringe, he had a variety of other 'supplies' on his person. Instead of his switchblades that he normally carried around on a 'normal' day, he had his actual daggers tucked away. There was also a number of small throwing blades hidden all around him.

Not far from where Shun stood with his bike Ginji manifested from the darkness. Stepping from the shadows as if it were a doorway from where he had been hiding he quietly stepped toward the assassin, his boots surprisingly quiet against the street surface. His face was already covered completely in its mask as it normally was, no openings what so ever not even for the eyes. The only thing on his person that really gave way to what he looked like was the gray canine tail that lay idle behind him.

Ginji looked to be prepared for their adventure. He was dressed in various shades of black between his pants, shirt, gloves, straps and a bag strapped to his back, the strap going diagonally across his chest. The different shades would help break up his form in the darkness much like camouflage clothing would.

Stepping up next to where he could feel the assassin's presence, Ginji stood by and waited for the go ahead without even saying a word. He wasn't one to initiate conversation unless it was important so there was no greeting of any kind.

Looking up as he was approached, Shun saw that it was the masked man who was to help him out here. He didn't know anything of this guy, aside from the fact that he had a wolf's tail. That didn't really tell him a whole lot though. The guy barely spoke too, which was perfectly fine with the assassin.

Nodding to the other, he grimaced as he turned to start heading towards the area they were going to enter from. A building as locked down at this one wouldn't be easy to sneak around or break in, but it wasn't impossible. His movements were rather silent, as he approached one of the darker areas by the chain link fence. Looking around to make sure there were no guards in the vicinity, he took out the syringe and let a single drop fall on the other side.

After casting a glance towards his cohort, he teleported to the other side of the fence and remained rather alert for signs of security.

Hearing Shun move, Ginji followed, his steps nothing more than a muffled whisper against the concrete. When they approached the chain link fence and Ginji felt his companion suddenly vanish and reappear a couple of feet away, he curiously reached out his hand to feel the barrier in their path. Since he could still sense Shun it obviously wasn't a wall and that was confirmed when his gloved fingers ran across the chain links.

The shadows they were in weren't particularly dark. At least not to where they were of any use. "You need to teleport me over or cast shadows." The masked wolf said simply, though he spoke quietly. He knew a little of what the boy could do considering they had already worked together and what little insight Suto could offer. Though the scientist seemed to be in a bafflement about the boy's abilities.

As he waited on the other side, Shun realized there weren't really any heavy shadows in the area just yet for the masked guy. He was just about to fix this issue, when it was requested to help the guy over. It wasn't an issue. Within the next second, darkness had bubbled out from the drop of blood he had created moments ago. It should be enough to allow the masked one to work his shadow abilities so he could get to the other side of the fence as well.

"Go ahead," he said quietly. Seeing how the guy had no eye holes, he could only imagine that he relied on things other than sight to get around. And the assassin wasn't sure if he could sense where shadows were or anything like that, so an audible cue was needed.

Once the darkness started to bubble out from the spot Shun had made, Ginji could feel his ability starting to take hold. The verbal cue wasn't really needed but Ginji didn't say a word about it as he was finally able to phase through the fence without an issue. Once through he took up his stance not far from Shun again, his head tilting slightly as if listening.

"The guard with a dog is heading this way." Ginji said softly. The guard wasn't in sight yet but after a second the muffled footsteps could be heard in the distance. It wouldn't take long before he was within a line of sight. "We need to head to building 3A, it is the furthest building to the right, the door with low visibility is on the side next to building 2B." He was repeating the information Suto had given him. Once inside it would be like clockwork. Ginji knew exactly how many steps he needed to take before he got to each exit and doorway. The whole place was mapped out in his head per Suto's instruction. The only fall back, which is why he couldn't do this on his own, was selecting the needed files to take back...and obviously getting passed the fence without throwing up too many alarms. He could easily grab everything but there would no doubt be a lot to haul back.

Shun's eyes darted towards the sound of footsteps as he listened carefully to the quick briefing. This guy was like a walking pda. But better, because there was no reading involved. It was kind of awesome.

"Roger," he mumbled before silently but quickly beginning to move to where building 3A was. Both he and the wolf guy had the advantage of not needing light to see, so he took the darkest route possible to reach the door the guy had mentioned. It was locked, as was to be expected, but that was of no issue.

Taking out the card key he had received from Suto, he made the swipe and peeked on inside to make sure there wasn't anyone that happened to be in the area. If that was the case, he'd have to make quick work of them before any alarms could be raised.

The hallway was quiet thankfully, though there was no telling where the few employees that were on the premises were at. Hearing no one, Ginji moved in through the door after Shun, his hearing on high alert for anything out of the ordinary. Once the door was securely closed behind them Ginji started to chart out their course. "We need to take fourteen steps and take the first door to the right. It will lead downstairs. After we go down two levels we need to exit and head right. There are cameras in the sub-levels but they are on a rotation. We can easily time them to get passed."

Moving just as quietly down the hall, Ginji continued to relay the information that he knew about the place. "Normally there are no more than two people working in the sub-levels after daylight hours. They shouldn't be a problem, though if given the opportunity we are to silence them."

Once Ginji had counted out his steps he stopped nearly perfectly in front of the door that would lead them downstairs. Reaching toward the door he found the handle and opened it slowly. The echo in the stairway would be great but it seemed to be just as silent as the hall they were in currently.

Listening carefully, Shun went on to create another recall point in the corner by the door. It all sounded simple enough. Whatever was in this building, it seemed it wasn't a huge part of the company as a whole. Having to silence whoever was in here would be no issue at all either. It was what he did.

Over all, this entire trip was a relief to the heavy emotions that still plagued him. It kept his mind off of things, which was what he needed to keep himself from going mad.

Quietly, he followed the wolf through the halls, keeping a sharp eye out for any signs of life. So far, it seemed there wasn't anyone around.

Stepping down the stairwell, going down two levels as instructed. He didn't stop until they were in the area with the cameras. Creating the next recall point, he watched them carefully to get a feel of where they were looking at what points in time.

Ginji followed Shun down the stairs trying to keep his steps as light as possible. The smallest sound seemed to echo. When they were finally on the right level he stood behind the assassin and waited for the cue. "After we turn right we need to go all the way to the end of the hall and head left. There is a room to the left that has large glass windows in it that might possibly have people inside so we need to be wary. Further down to the right is the door we will need. Room thirty two, it contains all the files we are looking for."

Nodding lightly at the next set of instructions, Shun continued to watch the cameras. Once the opening presented itself, he quickly moved on to the next blind spot, then the next, and so on until he reached the end of the hallway. The wolf's ears seemed acute enough to pick up on his movement, despite his attempts to be completely silent, so he didn't give much of a cue to the guy.

From his position, he could sort of see the room with the window that had been mentioned. However, he couldn't quite tell if there was anyone inside at this point.

Narrowing his eyes slightly, he'd have to keep an eye out for that when they drew near.

Feeling Shun move Ginji moved as well doing his best to stay close and in the blind spots that Shun tucked in behind. He couldn't see the cameras but he could hear them as they slowly swept back and forth to get visual through multiple directions. When they finally made it to the hallway, Ginji immediately crouched down beneath the window so whoever may look out wouldn't be able to see him. It was the easiest thing to do since he couldn't really sense people through a solid structure.

Only a moment later a large man came into view. He seemed to be focused on the clip board in his hands jotting down notes with a furious speed. He didn't even glance out the window as he circled about the room heading toward the door.

Shun followed suit with ducking low, however, that didn't keep him from taking note of the guy in the room. It looked like he was getting ready to leave that area. Narrowing his eyes, he moved a little more quickly to try and reach the door. Once there was a bit of wall before the door, he stood up straight and unsheathed one of his daggers. If the guy was coming out like he thought, he'd have to be taken care of as quickly as possible. A swift slit to the throat while covering his mouth should suffice.

Ginji felt Shun come to a stop not far away and hold his stance so he did the same keeping low and out of sight. He could only assume someone was in the room but it was too dangerous at this point to give verbal cues so silently he waited for something to happen.

As anticipated, the man circled back around and exited the room, his eyes still focused on the chart in his hands. The door opened slowly as he stepped out but when he looked up to see where he was going he was started to see another person in his path. His surprise was muffled though as a hand was thrown over his mouth and his neck was slashed. It didn't take long for the blood loss to kick in before the man crumpled to the ground as good as dead.

Off on the other side of the room another person stood to their feet. A woman in her late twenties, dark brown hair tied up behind her head, oval framed glasses sitting on her nose, and a lab coat adorning her small figure. She had apparently been crouched down working on something but was alerted to the thud. Seeing her coworker on the ground she let out a panicked shriek having not seen the blood, due to the man's face down position, or Shun for that matter. "Tim? Tim are you okay?" She started to hustle around the table but it was shortly after that the blood came into view and she froze.
