This is where you can post you characters for the mass thread RP "Across the Stars". RP threads of this story will be tagged with an (AS).
The following characters, I'm sorry, can not be played. These characters are needed for NPC purposes, and will not be leaving their "home worlds".

OK, the center of the RP revolves around "The Keys to Power", items in each world that, when taken to other worlds, allows the user to substitue rules from the original world it's from. (OK, let me rephrase that.)
Suppose you have the "Key to Power" from DBZ. Your character goes to a world that doesn't support DBZ rules, such as Zion. A character holding a key to power can temporarily replace the rules of one world with another. So, they could occassionally (You shouldn't overuse the power) spit a Ki blast out or fly, regardless of the world their in.
The "NPC Characters" are the initial holders of these items. Items change hands in a sort of "capture the flag" system, with a fair and impartial dice based combat. There will be several "multi-world" NPC's who will be moving the main story along from time to time.
Feel free to begin posting your profiles now. There are no teams, no sides. While characters may choose to ally with eachother, everyone will have their own motivations, goals, and relations. This is completely open ended, your actions will dicate the path of the story...

Non - Player Characters All these characters are played by me under the mule account Swordsmaster5150. Name: Knightfall Talents: Endurance, Kung-Fu, Alchemy, Healing Race: Unknown Orign: Unknown Appearence: Standing roughly 6' 6", he is a rather imposing figure. His facial features and all hair are concealed beneath a black steel helm. He is covered from head to toe with black armor and black painted chain mail. The armor contains many spikes and demonic ornatements. In starking contrast, he wears an incredibly bright wipe cape and carries a silver lance that has angelic ornations. Personality: Very dark and brooding, he shows open hostility towards anyone in his way or trying to counteract his objectives. However, he typically avoids and refrains from speaking to those he has no bussiness with. Abilities and Skills: A remarkably skilled lance fighter with other powers yet unknown, many of his skills remain hidden for the moment. History: No one knows anything about him, or at least, no one's talking. He just showed up one day on Matri...

Here is the last aspect of the game. Talents are special affinities that can have an effect on your characters regardless of world. In the first post of any world, where the battle system is listed, people with certaint talents are awarded additional skills in certaint worlds. For instance, if Charisma is one of your talents, and you were in the star wars world, you could "use the force" and "persuade" people to see it your way. (These aren't the droids your looking for...) Characters with swordplay or gunplay skill would gain a boost to their rolls when involved, and so on. When you create your character, you may choose any 4 of these talents.

Appears to be a tall, teenage female, although she is really much older. She has long, silky black hair, which she loves and takes care of. Her eyes are an icy crystal blue, with cat-like pupils. Yeya has extremely pale skin, no matter how long she goes outside for. She wears a lot of dark clothes, but usually wears a black tanktop and shorts, with kneehigh 'goth boots'. She carries a three foot long sword and a hand gun with her.
When she wishes, she also shows her more demonic traits, including her fangs, claws and white cat ears and tail. This, however is rare.
Personality: Yeya tends to act dark and emotionless, but is completely different around those she cares for.
Abilities and Skills: Very fast, can create blasts of dark energy, can cast magic spells and healing spells, but is better with her sword.
History: Yeya was trained for as long as she could remember to be a weapon by her family. She ran away, and is now constantly searching for her purpose in life and whether or not anyones lives truly matter.

Appearence: 
Personality: She doesn't like to say that she used to be a Jedi, because people tend to look down on her for it, either because they think she must be evil or something, or that she wasn't good enough. Other than that, she tries to be helpful and usually doesn't overlook a person in need or hurt, whether they are against her causes or no.
Abilities and Skills: She's figured out ways of healing, and uses that mostly. She can also do some offensive magic-like things, but isn't much of one for hurting people. Nephaer has also learned to pilot things. She is lacking in the ways of physical strength, but her mental and magical prowess make up for that.
History: She grew up being chosen and trained as a Jedi, but decided that the rules were just to hard, and even immoral, to live by. So, she left them and found alternate ways to use the force, mostly for healing and the like.

Appearence: He is about 6' tall, with black slicked back black hair. He wears a black sleeveless shirt, and a black leather jacket over it. His pants are also black, but ornated with silver flames at the bottom. He also wears a pair of black gloves that hide his "tattoo".
(I made this guy in Soul Calibur 3 before I decided to use him here. I'll see If I can get a screenshot up.)
Personality: While he frequently puts up a pleasent, and sometimes even happy front, some tradegdy still haunts him to this day. He doesn't feel that he has any sort of alligance to anyone, and his reasons for seeking the keys are his own.
Abilities and Skills: He is first and formost a pyro, creating powerful flame attacks. However, this ability frequently fall through in different worlds. When unable to use his pyro powers, he is forced adapt and arm himself with a new weapon. When unable to wield flame, that ability translates into improved physical strength.
History: Well, I can't think of anything right now, but I'll come up with something eventually.

Race: Sabel is an anthropomorphic hyena.
Orign: The hyaenid woman seems to spin a different tale of her origins to everyone she meets.
Appearence: 
Personality: Sabel is cheerfully eccentric and friendly. She does her best to help others, but is usually more of a hindrance and is luckier than anyone has a right to be.
Abilities and Skills: Sabel can manipulate and project emotions, she also (clumsily) weilds a kodachi marked with electrical scorching.
History: Sabel arrived from off-planet with a small crew on her personal space ship. She has since acquired a strangely intelligent mount, the tobian draft horse seems at times almost to be as sentient as a human, yet speaks only in the lowest animal tongue.

Race: A'ashii
Orign: A heavily forested world deep in space.
Appearence: Darok is a shaggy centaurish beast, His head is catlike with goatlike horns, his lower body has three toed hooves, and a long clubbed tail. He has a very heavy build and is solid muscle.
Personality: Darok is a serious somber individual who will stand to right any wrongs, which is intersting considering the sometimes borderline chaotic behavior of his ship's captain.
Abilities and Skills: Darok is rather adapt with computers, or at least as well as his not quite so dextrous hands can manage. He is the pilot of Kiara Sabel's ship. He is an excellent sniper, long-distance runner, physical fighter and daring pilot.
History: Darok was the equivalent of 15 years old when he signed on as a pilot to the infamous treasure hunter Ebelle Astral, and even after she retired with her gunner Gray Worldtrader, Darok remained with Ebelle's remaining crew, the ship's cook More` and navigator Kiara Sabel, who purchased and captained her own ship, Cruel Destiny.

((Well, I decided to do something a little different this time. Instead of throwing in one of my ussual characters I'm giving you guys a sneak-peek at my Manga characters, no stealing though they are copyrighted.)) Name: Arasi Feria Arumus

Race: Element - Lightning

Appearence:
Arasi garbs himself neatly, his clothing is always crisp if he can make it so. But he is not obsessed with his appearance as some people might think. His silver hair is waist-length and evenly trimmed, He wears a red shirt and half-cape that are trimmed in gold. and navy-blue pants trimmed in silver. His left arm is wrapped in Silvery-chrome armor all the way to his shoulder.
Personality: Arasi has little in the way of personality, as he has no emotions whatsoever. This makes him very dangerous as he has no moral misgivings or compasion. Neither sadness, anger, love, hate... He is as impassive as a robot.
Abilities and Skills: Arasi is the physical incarnation of lightning and electricity itself. His speed is unrivaled, and though his swordskill is impressive it alone is not what makes him so formidable. He possesses powers over his own element, to the point that he can become lighting at whim.
History: Arasi was born from parents who were completely human, as a young boy he was very emotional and volitile. One day when goaded too far he exploded, as yet unable to control his strange powers Lightning storms ravaged the land and completely destroyed everyone and everything he had known. Since then Arasi focused hard on suppressing his dangerous emotions and feelings, until now he does not feel them at all.

blond hair falls wildly across a youthful face, more on the right side than the left. He has brilliant Icy-blue eyes and a small almost girlish nose. He wears no more than a pair of blue pants, a stip of red and purple cloth as a sash, and two smaller red wraps at his ankles to hold the bottoms of his pants tight. His entire body is covered in grey fur, and his ears were those of a wolf, on the sides of his head, frosted blond at the tips. A bushy wolf tail sprouts behind him and claws adorned his hands and feet.
Personality: Ookami is the picture of happy naive innocence. Like a kitten or a puppy he is always happy and easily entertained. He loves other people and makes freinds with anyone who is not frightened away by his unusual appearance.
Abilities and Skills: Ookami's actions often disguise his true strength, though not by any intent of his own. He is the lunar element, and with the changes of the moon his form alters with it. Capable of assuming 3 different forms, including his normal one, he is actually quite powerful. His physically strongest form is that of a were-wolf. nine feet tall with jaws large enough to bite a human head off. His strength and speed are formidable, but he is completely berserk in this form on the full moon. More dangerous however is his ability to heal. The fuller the moon the faster his wounds close themselves. On the other end of the spectrum is his full wolf form. Slightly larger than an average wolf, he still possesses the strengths of his smaller bretheren. Aside from his unusual healing abilities he is weakest in this form and must assume it on the new moon.
History: Ookami's history is very complicated, suffice it to say that a great deal of his powers are still locked away, his past will remain a mystery even to himself until his buried memories are allowed to resurface.

Spikey red-orange hair that tapers towards his neck only to end in a small braid. His eyes are red-brown, and he wears a blue leather jacket and light-brown pants tucked into motor-bike boots. His entire body is twined in flame-like birthmarks, that most people mistake as wine-colored tatoos.
Personality:Much like his element he tends to be volitile, but is happiest when he is working on machinery. He prizes his motorbike above all, but he also enjoys streetfighting and Kenpo.
Abilities and Skills: Like the other elements Rathe can become fire itself and completely control his element at whim. he tends not to use his powers as much as some of the others as he prefers to deal with problems with skills more typical of humans.
History:He has traveled with Ookami for a time and is probably one of the closer freinds the wolf-boy has, though you would never guess as much by watching them.

(( ^_^ I just felt like making a character a little different than what I usually play. Alright, I admit he was somewhat inspired by Sora from .Hack xd ))
Name: Mar Terra
Talents: Athletic, Endurance, Charisma, Kung Fu
Race: Genome
Orign: Final Fantasy IX
Appearence: Mar wears tight, form fitting neutral green and brown clothing, which at first makes his form seem effeminate, but on second glance is really only lanky. His long, light brown hair is pulled back into a loose ponytail, making stray strands of hair fall around the edges of his face. His dark brown eyes sparkle with mischief and intelligence. He purposefully keeps his tail visible, and treats it almost as a separate entity.
Personality: Mar tends to act in a reckless way, saying things and doing things which others may regard as immature. Still, he can be serious, and often is in his own way, masking his skill and intelligence behind rash words and actions. He is a manipulator as well, often doing things for personal gain.
Abilities and Skills: With two daggers at his hips, physical combat training, and being quick and ambidextrous, Mar can hold his own in a fight. Though he prefers deceit, manipulation, and artifice to full out combat. Not to mention his highly developed and elite theivery skills.
History: Mar was created along with all the other Genomes of Terra, as a somewhat experimental sort. He was given more height and speed than most, but along with that, he got selfish and greedy. He became a thief, stealing whatever he could put his hands on, and finally managed to 'secure' a prototype ship that was capable of traversing worlds. While not as powerful or large a ship as the Invincible, he makes do with what he has, calling the glitchy vessel Restriction. After all, the more worlds he can see, the more variety of items he can 'aquire'.

Shiyaa is a crossdresser, and looks very effeminant. He has long, light brown hair, either worn down or in a braid. His eyes are a light shade of grey. Shiyaa usually wears kimonos,like the one in this picture. He also wears Gothic Lolita clothes.
Personality: Shiyaa is usually the picture of cute innocence, however he easily gets depressed. He tends to act hyper and childish.
Abilities and Skills: Shiyaa has the power to manipulate his and others blood into a variaty of spells and weapons, including healing. He is pretty fast, and often relies on ninjustu that he learned from his family. He has a blood red ruby sword. He is immune to all types of poison.He also has summoning skills, but hates using them as one dragon just won't obey.
Shiyaa's main blood manipulation skills: A shield of blood, which is hard to penatrate, daggers of blood,blood like ropes, healing, sealing things,tracking people with it and transforming himself into it, which he rarely does
History: Shiyaa is a 16 year old youkai that was banished from his family due to his weakness and lack of interest in fighting. His mother, a very powerful youkai, banished Shiyaa to another world. This, however, took up almost all of her strength, and she will never be able to bring him back. Although he doesn't care about his family, Shiyaa wants to go back to his home.
He is somewhat a pyromaniac, often lighting random things on fire when bored. He always has matches on him, no matter what. His main weapon is usually his shuriken, sword and parasol
