RP Minigame: Invaders from space
Rules:
- This is a ROLEPLAYED minipet event! That means, yes, you guessed it, strap on your minipet boots and grab that minipet!
- Choose ANY wishing minipet that you OWN. This can be from the wishing cousins, to the original wishing set, to anything released from the wishing orbs.
- To enter in this event, simply reply to the rp prompt posted below with a minipet of the above (ANYTHING of the wishing series). If someone above you has already chosen that minipet in the SIGN UPS phase you must choose one not taken to avoid confusion.
- In addition to responding to the rp prompt, please also interact with the minipets around you!
- This is an RP ELIMINATION game, so that means you will be required to take action as requested.
THE PRIZES THE PRIZES:- THE FINAL WINNER WILL TAKE HOME EITHER: (Their choice) - RP RUNNERS UP WILL RECEIVE 100K silver and 10 wishing orbs EACH (undetermined amount) EVENT END The SIGNUPS PHASE will end exactly 24 hours from this post, in which case Phase 1 will begin! It all began like this... The sky was raining asteroids. And not, shall we clarify, Asteroid Belts. No, these strange, flaming atrocities dropped from the skies, lighting a path of flaming destruction in their wake. Even the beacon of all hope, the Wishing Headquarters, had been consumed in a blaze of rain and hellfire.
The last remaining survivors from the Headquarters remained huddled in an abandoned cave that once belonged to the Underground. Everyone was miserable.
Little Star was the first to speak. She looked left and right, at all her cousins around her, the original set, the first of their kind, her trusted familiars. "Do not give up hope, even in these dark times. We are homeless now, our talent agency burnt to ashes, but we can always rebuild anew. Our goal now is to protect the little land we have left, protect the others too weak to fend for themselves and show them what power we have. This is our goal, ever since we came from space to this world, and this is our new mission!"
There was no real harrah or fanfare - the remaining struggling Halloween denizens had long ago abandoned such ideas in the wake of fire outside. Many had died in the Headquarters massacre, many would die setting foot back into the blaze.
"I understand that your lives are at stake here, but please, I beg you, we must find out what is causing this. We have had our quarrels in the past, unfair challenges, rivalries, but such is an idol's life. However now, we face this problem united. We can protect the world, together. Now, who is with me?"

One voice rose over the din of distressed sounds and was exultant in its declarations of potential victory. "Little Star is absolutely correct!" Prince Rose was a dashing sort of creature, his cape swishing here and there every time he so much as flicked his dark-furred head and rose petals seemed to follow him constantly. (They were obviously from the close-budded roses strewn at the end of his cape, but this was a secret best shared with no one). "This is not the end of our home but a chance to build a new one! A grander one! Losing hope is when the stars truly go dark and we will be the light of this place! Greater than the fire! Brighter than every star in the sky! Don't be sad but be cheerful and we will succeed in building a better home than any of us could dream of!" Pep talks, talking bombastically, waving gestures and bobbing head -- that was Prince Rose. "But first, maybe there is a point. We will find the source of the meteors and we will save it from hurting anyone else! We have to hope that it is an accident, you see." Didn't they see? He thought they ought to see. He saw! "I am with you Little Star!" When wasn't he?

 To put it plainly, it was hell outside. Hell on earth. Sparkling Princess Fluffums spoke, her half lidded eyes glancing towards Little Star. How could the Little Star be so optimistic? " ..A new mission. You really underestimate out difficulties in our past.. We can't unite like.. like a rainbow."
It seemed that Sparkling Princess Fluffums would resist uniting.
"Unless it's a multicolored rainbow. I shall join you, Little Star, as the pinkest wishing crystal of them all."
As for Prince Rose, his words didn't sound .. quite as majestic as it could be with that rose in his mouth. How did he talk with that rose in his mouth?
Sparkling Princess Fluffum's private mission was to find the last of cotton candy in this hell.

It was dark. That was the first thing that Aurora noticed as she stood there, surrounded by the rest of her kind. Shifting from one paw to the other, she kept her gaze on the Wishing Charm in front of her, brushing blueish white strands of hair from her face. Little Star, in accordance with her name, was not very large, nor particularly impressive, but her voice was strong, and her determination great. The calmness she exuded was contagious; Aurora felt herself growing more inclined towards agreeing with the charm, though there was still a small bit of hesitance. She did not like confrontation - never had - but this was a different sort of confrontation, one she was not used to.
However...however, the idea of simply sitting around and doing nothing was not a particularly enticing offer either. Aurora bit her lip, battling with herself internally. Then -
"I am with you."
It was a small voice, quiet, but Aurora was confident as she stepped forward, towards the other. Though she was somewhat interrupted by the arrivals of two others before her, one with a dark cape, the other with a rather sarcastic tone to her voice that made Aurora flinch ever so slightly.

Saggy was startled. Very startled. The sort of startled that couldn't be quite comprehended and borderlined on terror. She soon realized that the reason it was so dark and claustrophobic was that her life had been saved by a falling, charred piece of wood that had been stopped inches from her eartips. With a whine, she managed to haul herself out, trembling whiskers as she glanced around for other survivors... what.. what had happened? She had been minding her own business with a particularly amazing piece of string when... well... all hell had broken loose. A voice made her limp nearer and she spotted Little Star addressing the growing masses. Protect the world? From... from WHAT? Who could want to hurt their wishing family?

Wide eyes stared with shock at the sky, twitching every once in a while. The Wishing Headquarters was destroyed?! There was no way! Wishing Moon's gaze reflected the bright lights as they rained down from the heavens, and a fierce determination flared within them. "Right!" She pumped her little paw in the air defiantly. This is no time to panic! "We're with you, Little Star!" She bounded over quickly and placed her head against the little wishing cousins for a moment. "We're going to find out what's behind all of this, and stop it. Now don't you worry!" The real question was.. where did they start? Looking to the skies once more, she couldn't see the source of the devastating falling asteroids. "This is bad.. this is really bad! Those things could go on forever!" Her voice took on a slight sarcastic whine. "And I'm pretty sure they're not up for peace talks."

Zoe was not amused, his bed was burning, it was on fire, IT WAS RUINED BEYOND ALL BELIEF. He would not stand for this! She needed a nice little bed to curl up on! Why did she have to have it all taken away in one burning flash of asteroid belts plummeting to the mini-world!? "Little Star! You say we must unite to save others! Do you have any idea what we have lost!? How can you look towards saving our own kind!" Pacing about she flopped down pawing at a very large pebble (it was his pebble now the only thing his actually owned.) "Do you promise our kind will be safe first before we help those other minis?"

Strella Noire did not care about Little Star or hope or any of the others huddled in this miserable cave with her. She was just angry, angry and worried because her safe precious home was GONE. She didn't want to waste her time protecting the weak, she wanted to find whoever had done this to them and make them pay.
"This was no accident..." Strella muttered bitterly under her breath her ears falling back and wings flapping in agitation. She didn't want to be in this cave, she wanted to be back among the stars. Instead she huddled into a corner away from the others and the their bright shining useless hopes.

Dusk flicked his tail as he listened to the speech. His eyes slowly crept from one corner of the cave to another, easily glancing off the figures huddled within. He barely took note of who had survived. If they continued to survive, they would be worth noting later. For now, there was little hope of that. Little Star’s words sank in slowly. The darkness and the fire, it was terrifying. But he nodded in agreement with their apparent leader. If they were to survive, there would be little choice. They would have to find some way to stop this hell from raining. This was a mission he could accept. “I am with you, as well.” He sat as if to signal that his agreement was absolute.

Fire crashed from the heavens, and in a fury of flames, it consumed all in it's path. Frantic to find sanctuary, the star scareon didn't have time to return to his ribbon nest to find his beloved Mineral companion. The thought of her trapped and alone as death rained down sent fear down his furry spine, tail curling in uncertainty. Against the wall, Castor peered out into the meteor shower. This wasn't right. This was unnatural. It couldn't be happening. Ears perked up as the wishing cousin, the one called Little Star spoke. An idol of the minipet plane, the words didn't fall short. Tail twitched and flicked as others chimed in. Looking back the star scareon huffed. They needed to not give up. No doubt others might have survived. This hell on minipet earth could be stopped. They were minipets of power! Giving up now- "Ha!" Castor's tail stood up. "Raining rocks of fire? Sounds like a challenge to me!" He went over to the little blue minipet, soft spoken. "Besides, saving the ladies-" The scareon sent a wink to the one with the rose. "It's a man's job." Hair flopped and his furry head nodded. "I'll help with whatever I can!"

As apathetic as Eri was to most things he knew that this was a very important time. These were bad times, he had already felt it coming but he had no idea things were going to be this bad. Their headquarters were destroyed and he knew that they all needed to band together to do something about it. Speaking up, Eri responded, "I'm with you too. I will not stand by and turn the other cheek. We must find out who did this and why." Sighing to himself, Eri was reminded of why he never liked speaking up; it made him exhausted. Though he knew he would regret not contributing to this. Where to start... Eri was a lethargic creature but he was clever. He needed some time to think about where they should start. The asteroids had to come from somewhere.

Nobody watched. Nobody was good at watching. It was one of his best talents. With the HQ blasted into a void of nothing, he had hidden. And then he had waited.
Now, with the tension thick and Little Star putting forward a call to arms, Nobody spoke.
His voice was a small hiss. He only said one word. "Caution."
