 Savas quickly changed course leaping into the air to land with perfect balance on the branch below. Stopping he took a few moments to catch his breath before glancing around for any danger.
He was still high up in the trees but there was alot of predators that still called the trees there home and he wasn't ready to become food yet. With a few more bounds he landed with a light thump only a few feet from the edge of the hidden pond in the tree cover.
Making sure no one else was at the water he bent down and drank his fill.

 Knole tramped noisily through the undergrowth as he headed for his favorite stream. It was a great day for relaxation, he had decided. He pushed his way out into the opening through a rather strong tangle of vines.
Knole closed his eyes and inhaled deeply the scent of the water, the fresh air and ringtail. Wait a minute. Knole thought to himself. He opened his eyes and looked around quickly. Then he spotted a rust colored ringtail male just a few feet away from him.
Knole mentally kicked hisself. He shook it off and glanced at the other ringtail. Knole slid over to the river and lapped up some water. He swallowed then looked over to the ringtail. "So...Nice day we're having, right?" He asked, trying to start up a conversation.

As the other male somewhat rushed into the clearing around the water Savas tensed to run. However it was just another male ringtail and slowly he relaxed.
Watching the male move to the edge of the water and drink he sad down talk flagging back and forth behind him. "its ok." his answer to the other was a bit blunt but he had not really paid attention to the weather as he stayed in the cover of the trees most of the time.
At least the male didnt bug him "My names Savas. Whats yours?"

Knole was a bit surprised that the other ringtail wasn't being rude; clearly Knole's reputation hadn't reached him. He grinned widely and said, "The name's Knole." He turned to the other ringtail and attempted a bit of a bow.
"So, Savas," He started slowly, "Where do you come from?" He asked. It probably wasn't the nicest way to ask, but Knole wasn't really known for his etiquette. He scratched his ear with his hind leg as he waited for an answer.

Savas nodded in return as the other bowed his comments were a bit straight forward seemed like his own to be truthful. Savas wasn't rude but he wasn't about to be a push over either. Or it seemed overly nice. "Where ever I chose to come from." it was defenally a snotty remark but the other had started it, or maybe he had. Putting the matter aside he stared at the purple and pink male before smiling.
"I chose not to have a set home, its a bother and then I have to get back to there, even when I don't care to."

Knole chuffed lightly. "No need to get so worked up or anything." He said in a light voice. Knole shifted his body as an uncomfortable silence came down around the two ringtails. Out of a need to break the silence, Knole popped the first question that entered his mind; "So, have any sisters?"

Savas laughed it was the first reaction his body took. He had never expect that question. "I have a few." He smiled for real the first time doing so "But I can say for sure im better to be around then a good few. And far better then Hera." Even the thought of his sister brought shivers he had escaped her impending chatter already once today and didn't feel like going near her for at least a week.
"And even if you got off with her or any of them my father would have to hurt you." he snorted and looked around "but then again its your life"

Knole laughed. "Well, perhaps I'll just forget about it, for now." He joked. His ears pricked up as he heard crunching in the forest ahead. He wondered if it was a predator. He wondered if it were female. "Oh well, perhaps we won't have to find out." Knole muttered aloud.
He stretched his hind legs and shook hisself. Knole then walked over to Savas and tapped him on his shoulder. "Tag. You're it." He said seriously. He turned around and shook his tail at Savas. "Can't catch me!" He teased, then began to trot off downstream.

"It would be a good plan." his ears perked towards the noise and new the other male had heard it.
Savas watched him for a few moments the idea to just leave toyed in his head. At least if there was something there he could be of some use.
Now he understood why his father followed Ren around. And with another sigh he ran after the other male.
"you risk alot running after something you have no clue of what it is." he ws now even with the other male and glanced over before quickly faceing the front again ready for what ever might be there.

Knole looked to Savas. "Me, run after something dangerous? No. We're just playing tag." He said, playing innocent. But of course he knew what he was doing. There was a 50-50 chance the creature they heard was female, and he liked those odds.
He cut a corner around a tree and stopped dead in his tracks. Whatever he and Savas had heard was right ahead, beyond a wall of thick bushes. Knole inhaled its scent deeply. He couldn't really decide what it was though. "Savvy, what do you think it is?" He asked.

He glared at the male "I had never agreed to tag." He growled he should have just left but it was to late for that now.
As Knole came to a sudden stop Savas almost tripped over the other male Growling again he glared at him, "its Savas not Savvy." He glanced forward his ears ready for even the slightest sound. Who ever or what ever it was wasnt trying to hide or they were really bad at it. "it doesnt sound to large what ever it is, but guess since were here there is no point waiting around." If worst came to worst he could always throw the male to it and jump into the trees.

Knole nodded. "Right, no nicknames." He said, making a mental note. He took a deep breath and plunged himself, as quietly as he could, through the thicket. When he popped up on the other side, he looked around. Whatever it was, it was gone again.
Knole decided to play a little trick on Savas. He howled in pain and toppled over on his side, facing away from the bushes. "It's got me! Oh ow! Help me Savvy!" He yelled.

At first Savas thought of leaving him. There was no way he even wanted to respond to Savvy, but it seemed the male had got into something..... Maybe... He stepped through the bushs and looked down att he male that was rolling on the ground. "I doubt it... He snorted sniffing the air a few times before turning back to the male. "First I smell no threat and second I heard no attack." He sat down with a thump. "Just you being noisey now at least what ever was around knows were also around." He growled, "And its Savas. And call me Savvy again and you will really be in pain."

Knole batted his paw lightly at Savas. "Aw come on, lighten up a little Savvy-poo." He said, with a pouty face. He knew that pushing his new friend's buttons was bad for his health, but he really couldn't help it. Knole sat up at stared around thoughtfully. "In all seriousness, I really do wonder what that was." He said aloud, mostly to himself though.

Savas growled he really did wanna tear Knole to bits which even shocked him self. "what ever it was didnt wanna fight or it be back by now. He glared down at Knole, "And with all the noise you made it knows where we are for sure... " He wasnt even sure no more if it did come back he was ready to feed Knole to it.
"Are you done playing games?" His tail swished back and forth with agitation but his ears were never off the alert.
