Was it the boredom of a looming lazy day or pure madness that drove the female leopard to do what she was currently doing to help pass the time. Surely most would say it was madness, but Kit didn't care. It wasn't as if the crocs had gotten her, yet. She was just lucky height and a sturdy tree branch were on her side. Smirking, the leopardess lazily swung her paw back and forth as she carefully watched the crocodiles slowly swim under the murky water. If she could get a better look she would swear they were glaring as her and pondering her death. Who wouldn't be mad if they were hungry and a potential meal just hung over their head just out of reach?

He was just minding his own business, lazily enjoying the warmth of the sun on his back, when he saw her. As normal the leopard was walking dangerously close to the water's edge, taunting the crocidiles with his nearness. Once or twice he would even stick his tail right over the water only to jerk it back just before a huge mouth clamped shut on it.
Heh.
Apparently he wasn't the only bold one. Adusa did a double take as he finally noticed the leopardess relaxing on the tree overhead. No wonder there hadn't been any crocs biting down this way. They were all over here watching her! "Enjoying life?" He finally called out to her with a smirk.

A smirk spread across the brown leopardess' face as a lone crocodile surfaced for a moment and then sunk back in to the murky depths, his dark and scaly figure seeming to vanish among the mud and debris just as a predator as herself seemed to vanish within the grass of the Savannah.
It was amusing how she seemed to think that taunting death in its face would break her stream of boredom. Did she really have a death wish on her hands? No, Kit enjoyed playing death to prey items far too much to go looking for her own death, no matter what someone else would say if they came across this moment.
As if someone else would be- And of course the devil speaks for himself.
"And what if I am?" she asked as she turned her olive colored gaze towards the stranger. "I doubt I'm the only insane one spending the free time with the crocodiles. Though," Kitallie smirked, her body rising as she carefully shifted to sit up on the branch. "You could always amuse my day by being dragged under. Didn't your mother ever tell you how dangerous the water's edge can be?"

Adusa just smiled at the female, "Then great!" His cimson gaze lightened up with amusement at her comment, "Who said it took insanity to hang with some crocs?"
He walked right over the water's edge and stared down into the murky depths, teasing and testing the crocidile's patience, before pulling back. It was almost as if danger didn't register with this leopard. Death didn't even seem like an option to him. "Oh, my mother told me plenty about the water's edge." He smirked up at her, "Why else would I be down here?"
"Oh certainly, miss." Adusa bowed his head in mock respect to the leopardess, "But only if you 'amused my day' by diving into the water with me."

Kit couldn't help but raise a brow at the other leopard. It was rare for her to actually come across someone whom held the same attitude she did, so meeting this guy did perk some interest in her. Snorting, she rolled her eyes at his comments and action as she carefully moved to jump down from the tree and make her way over to the male.
"Dive in to the water with you?" Her olive eyes carefully looked him over."Now why would I be as crazed as to do something like that, especially with a total stranger, huh? For all I know you could try to drown me, or shove me right at a croc's mouth, and you know I really don't have plans to go down like that. Though, as I said, you could make a nice cheap meal for one of them."

Oh? Adusa silently laughed at the leopardess reaction to him. "So the queen of the tree touches the ground." He commented softly to himself, his tail curling behind him in amusement. Not only did she come down; she was now gracing him with her presence.
"Really?" Adusa sat straighter and studied the waters, "I don't know if they like the taste of leopard first of all. Possibly even that too much fur would make those guys sick. But honestly what reason would I have for killing off you? That'd be a waste." He looked back at her with a small smirk, "Unless you just think that your presence is enough of a concern to my life that I have to get rid of you?"
