Sinon had heard of chibi senshis—seen them, conversed with them, even! She had run into Sailor Hypnos a few times. Hypnos was incredibly cute and just as childish, which made the purple-clad senshi periodically fret over the small girl from time to time, even when Sinon had not seen her in a while. However, Hypnos was not the only child senshi Sinon encountered. She recalled talking with a Sailor Hugbell during the battle involving unicorns and rainbows and epic levels of awesome. It was fortunate that the avoided physical fighting and escalated into a race instead. Dream or not, she worried over the safety of the young senshi. How could she not?
Lips puckered into a thoughtful frown, Sinon patrolled through the streets with her usual skateboard. Some people might have considered it easier to use senshi powers to jump from rooftop to rooftop, but the redhead was too attached to her skateboard. Occasionally she lovingly left behind her board, but usually toted it along.
She heard a screech, echoing in the distance near Meadowview. “Huh. Is it another bird creature thing?” Sinon mused, her foot pushing against the cement to propel her forward. It did not take long for a bird monster to appear in view, but it took her a few moments to realize that a young lad was fighting it.
“Huh?” Sinon curiously leaned forward, casually realizing that he seemed young. Quite young, actually.
She fell off her skateboard when she concluded that perhaps this was another chibi senshi. "Wait! C-Careful!"

Small fists were punching and slapping at what looked like a large, deformed black crow. But this creature was easily the size of a fully grown adult, if not bigger, and its talons was the grey and orange outfitted senshi, Sailor Chibi Ixion. The young senshi was thrashing about. Sharp talons were locked around his waist. He kicked and hit at the thing wildly, attempting to force it to drop him. "Let go of me! You featherbrain." Ixion screamed at it.
It was no use though, the creature flapped around, happy it had caught a bright colored treasure. It barely even noticed the young rookie's punches, which only managed to hit the hard talons instead of the feathered body.

“Usually, yelling does not do you much good,” advised Sinon as she hastily scrambled back to her feet. She glanced at the monster and noticed the different aura it gave off. It was not a youma, but clearly not normal like a human or rabid animal. After kicking her skateboard to the side she rushed forward. “Sinon White Lies!”
The wiry threads tangled around the bird and gradually tightened around it. Unfortunately, the creature stubbornly held onto the chibi senshi, but at least it did not seem to clutch him harder.
She ran as quickly as her legs could move. “You okay, kid?” Sinon briefly asked as her hands grasped the talons and attempted to pry it apart.

Ixion continued to punch at the bird when Sinon attacked, but his small hands were not doing much damage. Small parts of the bird seemed to flake off after each hit. Its body seemed to be fragile, but the talons were rough and hard. If only the boy could just hit the bird a little higher up.
He turned his head to see what had happened, noticing the red-head coming for him.
The large bird-monster struggled underneath Sinon's web. It thrashed about, trying to free itself from both the web and Sinon's prying hands. The gray and orange clothed boy was its treasure. It had plucked it him off the ground and won him; it was reluctant to give up its prize so easily.
Ixion tried to wiggle he way out of the bird's talons as Sinon loosened its grip. Even though he was a chibi senshi, the boy wasn't that much smaller than his older peers; he was too big and the gap was too small. "Yeah, I'd be fine if I could just ... get.... free!"
"Ixion Coal Rush!" The senshi of coal did the only thing he could think to do. He conjured a lump of coal, not much bigger than his fist, and aimed at the monster's head. The black piece of coal hit the bird-monster's beak. Two black pieces fell to the ground: one Ixion's lump of coal, the other a small piece of the beak, chipped straight off.
The monster was not happy. It made an agonizing screech and tossed about more, jostling the boy back and forth. Angrily, it started to peck and n** at Sinon, attempting to force the senshi back.

“Get free. Yeah, that makes sense.” Sinon’s mumbles became drowned out by the boy’s shout as he summoned a lump of coal—she briefly took note of that—and flung it at the monster. Her eyes widened as she silently mouthed multiple swear words before hastily returning back to the talons wrapped around Ixion’s torso.
She poured all of her energy into her arms, muscles flexing as she strained to tear down the bird’s grip. Slowly it eased open, inch by inch, and Sinon attempted to pull it away even more, but suddenly the bird moved, flinging the poor child in various directions. “Hey!” she indignantly cried as it pecked at her with its chipped beak. She swatted at the beak a few times before exasperatedly calling out her attack. “Sinon White Lies!” While the strings twined around the bird, Sinon did not hesitate to run back towards Ixion. She tightly gripped the scaly talons and grunted as she began to slowly ease it up again.
Damn birds.

The bird was slowly yielding to Sinon’s attempts. It struggled underneath the magical web, attempting to shake it off. Its wings were caught underneath the net, and it was struggling to keep in the air.
While its talons were being pried apart, Ixion tried to push himself free of its grasp. Thanks to Sinon, he was almost able to free himself completely. The monster had a better plan. Like a cat playing with the mouse it caught, the bird flung Ixion out of his talons. The quick movement sent the small senshi crashing down onto the ground. Ixion skidded across the ground, his pants ripped at the knees. It was a hard enough fall to cut the skin, patchy spots of blood showed up on his knees.
It was lucky that the bird did fling him away, as it was crashing onto the ground itself. It couldn’t keep itself up in the air, the web around it was too tight to allow it to fly. Its body slumped to the ground, nearly landing on Sinon.
Ixion slowly pushed himself up. He was a little shaky from the fall, but all in all not too bad off. It was just like falling off a jungle gym. The chibi senshi staggered over to the captured bird and Sinon. Winding up a kick, he aimed at the bird’s body. The impact of the kick cause part of it to break up. A fighter till the end, it gave a sharp cry and tried to roll around, attempting to n** at the boy’s feet. Another piece of the black monster broke off, and its body crumbled into dust.
The boy’s soft eyes found Sinon, and he gave her a hardy, serious stare. “Thanks.”

“Hey!” She cried out when the bird flung the child out of its claws. Although Sinon was grateful that it had released its clutches on him, she worried about his safety. Together, the soldier of lies tumbled to the ground with the creature. Air rushed out of her lungs as the feathered monster almost flattened her. Hastily, Sinon clawed her way out of the heap. As she strolled away, she looked behind to watch the bird crumble to dark dust.
“No problem.” The redhead ambled over to her fallen board and swept it into her arms. She glanced over at the chibi senshi and curiously observed his serious eyes. “You’re name . . . is Ixion, I assume? Because of your attack, and all. You can probably figure that I’m Sinon, ya?”She grinned, her body lazily leaning to the side as her fingers slid into her pockets.

“Yeah, Ixion. “ He paused to try to remember the words she shouted with her attack, did she say Sinon? “Yeah, I think I got that.”
The young senshi extended a gloved hand to her, offering a shake. “I was doing okay you know, before you came.” Ixion was young and inexperienced at being a senshi, but he considered himself just as capable as the older ones. It bothered him that even though he felt grown-up, he wasn’t as strong in body or magical powers.
The stony look on his face didn’t soften up much. He casually glanced away for a moment, scuffing the ground with his feet. As he twisted his foot in circles, he felt a ache and dull pain in his shin. “Ow,” he winced. Glancing down he noticed a rip in pants. His skin looked angry and red, patches of blood and dirt were around the scrape.

Sinon chuckled as she obliged, wrapping her own hand with his and heartily shaking it. “I suppose, but learning to cooperate with fellow senshi can’t hurt, right?” She kept smiling, but she couldn’t stop her thoughts from focusing on Ixion’s young age. It was a fact that Sinon had seen chibi senshi pop up from time to time, but it was also natural for her to panic about their safety. They possessed magic and enhanced physical abilities like everyone else, but chibi senshi were still children. Sometimes they were not as insightful as others or not emotionally ready for the responsibilities of being a senshi. Of course, Sinon was still growing herself, but children seemed so much more susceptible to getting hurt. At least Ixion seemed serious and more mature than most kids his age.
She kneeled down to closely examine the scratches and cuts. Her hands tentatively reached forward to brush against the injuries. “Does it hurt a lot? Do you want me to get some bandages? It’ll be best to at least disinfect the wounds.” Sinon looked up and glanced around. “I think my house is near here, so it shouldn’t be too far of a walk.”

"I guess so..." Ixion hadn't thought much about teaming up with other senshi. He appreciated the help. But, Ixion was also determined to prove he could be useful and tough, just like the others.
When Sinon touched his bleeding scrape, it felt like it burned. His face scrunched up in pain as he let out a low hiss; the skin around the scrape was sensitive to the touch. "Yeah, a bit." Ixion was down playing his pain. Even though he said it wasn't that bad, his face was a dead give away. The injury really stung.
"That would be okay I guess. Okay."

“Awesome, follow me. My house is just a couple blocks.” She stood up and ambled towards her fallen skateboard. Sinon reached down to scoop up the board. She flipped it over and examined the damage. Her fingers lightly brushed over the numerous scratches her board had accumulated over time. Sinon frowned. She stretched out an arm to drop the board, but she paused once she realized that Ixion probably couldn’t run as fast as she could skateboard.
Hiding a pained expression, Sinon turned around and began to stroll down the streets. She smiled lazily as she gestured for him to follow. “Been a senshi for long?” Quietly, Sinon filled the trek with simple, casual questions to drive away any possible silence, whether Ixion liked it or not.
They arrived at the driveway of her house, two-stories high and with a front porch. She turned around, a finger on her lips as she skulked up the front stairs and silently eased into the kitchen. Quickly, Sinon rummaged through the cupboards, searching for bandages and band aids until she threw a box of band aids at Ixion. When she stood up, a bottle of disinfect appeared in her hands. Sinon smiled at the boy.
“This will only hurt a little bit.” She swooped in, a cloth appearing in her other hand as she hastily dabbed his knee. “Anywhere else?”

Ixion was slowly following behind Sinon. He was lightly galloping more than trying to run. The stining ache of his knee kept him from really keeping up. But he was glad when she stopped to let him catch up.
“Not for long. Three days?” Ixion still couldn’t really believe what had been happening that week. Was it real, or was all just a dream? It was hard to be entirely sure. It had been three days, but everything had been happening so fast for him, it could have been just one. His brown eyes looked up to the redhead, curious. “Guess you’ve been doing it longer?”
He didn’t say anything when they got to her house, he just followed Sinon quietly and tried not to make a sound. When they entered the kitchen, he sat himself down a on chair waiting for her to find whatever supplies she needed. When the box of band-aids flew at him, he caught it and immediately started to rummage for the right size. Trying not to wince at the pain, Ixion handed over a large band aid.
When asked, Ixion looked over his body. Thankfully, his fuku covered him almost head to toe. The only gashes he had were on his knees. “Looks good. Thank you."
Noticing the clock on the wall, Ixion realized he had been gone from home for quite some time. His mother was bound to be wonder where the hell he had run off to. Slipping down from his chair, Sam made his way to the kitchen door. "I better get going! Curfew is coming up." He said the word curfew sheepishly. Senshi shouldn't have curfews, but there was no way he could tell his mother that. "I can let myself out. Gotta run home before they know I'm gone."
