Kya was not really the kind to dream, but when she did, it was pretty dull. This time, she actually did. The setting was, what seemed to be an office. A man with the same color hair and eyes as Kya was sitting at a desk, a kid about two or three was at the door, waiting for him to say something.

A white dove and black crow landed on both sides of the child, seeming to await a happening as well.

The child glances at the two birds, only for a second, then she looked back at the man. He looked very very stressed, mad, or just busy. Suddenly, a phone appeared and he was standing, talking on it. This dream was a replay of Kya's memory, so some parts were skippy... "No no no! I need to know now! Well, fine then!" The man yelled into the phone, along with some cussing. The little girl just sat there, watching.

They started hopping, and flew upward to perch on Dream Kya's head.

Dream Kya, the little girl, did not mind the birds. The man finally looked at Kya and sighed. "Come along." He said coldly and grabbed her hand. He roughly pulled her out of the room, slamming the door behind him.

The dream, as they walked through the door, went from him roughly pulling her, to Kya, still around 2 or 3, peeking through a crack in her parents bedroom. "N! I will not give her to some orphanage!" Her mother yelled. "There is something wrong with her! And we can not afford to put her in a nut house!" Her father yelled back. The yelling turned into hitting... and the hitting made the young Kya cry, falling to her knees. It was the first sound she had ever made.

"Yesss...Let it allll ouuuuutt..." a dark voice called from behind her. It was literally adressing the young Kya. "We are very pleasssed... Your ssssorroww... Nourishes ussss..."
The dove and raven started chirping rapidly, as if calling for something.

Kya had her face in her hands. She turned her head to look behind her as she heard the voice, her face tear stained and her eyes a bit red. She was silent for a bit, before saying, "W-who are you?..." Her voice was small and shaky. Sense this voice was new, and not part of the memory, her parents could not hear either of them, in fact, everything in the room they were in was gone.

A cloaked figure, supposedly the source of the voice, crept closer and closer, it's face unseen under a hood. "We are Manifest... We feed off of your nightmaresss... Your sorrowsss... Your feeeaaarrrssssss..."

Kya backed up a bit as the figure got closer and closer. She stumbled to her feet, saying, "W-well, um, M-Manifest, please leave, my parents d-do not like visitors..." She said, stepping away. Her voice was younger, but she still spoke as if she were five. Her small body was trembling, and it was obvious on her face that she was scared.

"OHHHHH... Such feeeaaarrrrrr... I would be a fool... to turn away such a... lovely feasssst." It crept closer and closer as more doves and ravens appeared.
