Faleen had anticipated going to Seth very shortly after the mission, for a couple of different reasons, one being about the Growlithe that had formally belonged to the Pokemon league's champion, she didn't want it, she wasn't sure what to do with Komashi... but after some time of thinking she had been brought to the conclusion that she didn't want anything to do with the traitor or Pokemon connected to him, even if it would be out of spite, (something she considered as well), she just wanted to be rid of him, rid of it all.

Other reasons were more for concern about her position... she had been fairly close to Will, when he was a rocket, spending most of her time off down at the branch, training, or in the city, visiting with him... if she could recall anything strange and report it, it might help with figuring out what kind of information Will could have leaked back to the pokemon League... she knew he had to be in contact with someone.
She did worry though, that this might be looked upon as suspicious as well, that was honestly the last thing she needed, for her own organization to think she was a leak as well, that thought horrified her. She would NEVER betray team Rocket! She wasn't a traitor, she wasn't like Will!
Faleen didn't want this to affect her position in the robotics department, she had been hoping for a chance to ask for bigger projects to work on, then simple grunt work... this better not ruin her opportunity, than lance would have taken far more away from her than just a friend.

Seth had been off duty for the first few days they had returned, so Faleen had had to wait until he returned back onto at least partial duty to report to him.
Though to her surprise, she had been approached by an agent, and told that the Elite had wanted to see her in his office.
Of course she went, hands tightly at her side, unsure of what to expect, the fact that they were getting in a lift to go up to the formal Elite offices made her a little nervous... the last time she had gone up there she had been in trouble.
But the grunt tried to remind herself that she hadn't done anything wrong this time... had she?

He was glad to be at least on partial duty, Being off duty usually caused him to go stir crazy, especially when he couldn't use one of his arms. His right arm was in a sling and thus that made him practically useless. Leaving Seth to do tasks that didn't require motor skills, such as reading reports, doing classes, and interrogating questioning grunts.

Faleen had proven herself to be a competent member of Team Rocket thus far. But upon discovering that she had been heavily involved with the disguised Lance, there naturally would be questions and suspicions. Since she was in his department, the elite had taken it upon himself to be the one to talk to her.

He sat in his office, staring boredly at a computer screen which held the day's reports and diagnostics from the tech division. The man going about approving things and so forth while waiting for Faleen to arrive with her escort.

She said nothing to the Agent that lead her up, and he said nothing to her. she wasn't sure what she could say anyway, lost in her own thoughts.
Once the lift doors opened, and the Agent took the lead out, Faleen folded her hands behind her back, making sure her posture was tall, respectable, and presentable when the agent knocked on the door that had Elite Seth's name on it. Before opening it,and allowing her to enter... he would wait outside, like usual.

Faleen lifted her eyes up to where Seth was sitting, still in a sling for one arm, but looking better than he had at the end of the mission.
"Seth, Sir," she greeted as she stopped inside his office, waiting for an order from him. "I'm reporting, per your orders..." and here she stopped, waiting.

Blue eyes lifted at the knock and then the grunt that entered. He knew this particular grunt well enough, but wasn't sure what to think about her currently. Thus his expression was completely neutral as he motioned his good arm towards a chair in front of his desk.

"Have a seat," he told her, edging on a command.

Leaning back in his own chair, the man let out a sigh and finally frowned. Although the uniform was covering it, his chest was still bound in bandages, and certain movements or breaths would painfully remind him of his injuries.

"It's come to my attention that you were closely involved with Lance while he was under the guise of William Foster."

She did as she was told, striding forward quietly, and moving around the chairs to take a seat, moving her hands into her lap.
she moved her gaze back over to the Elite's to show that she was paying attention.
He wasn't glaring... that was a good thing.
At the mention of Lance, formally known as Will, and her involvement with him, she honestly wasn't surprised, she knew it was going to come up eventually.
but it did cause her to blink once before she answered. "Yes sir. I was" she answered, keeping her voice very professional.
It was almost surreal when someone would say allowed that Will was a rouse.
"Mostly during my days off..." her voice took on a more strained hint.
"I would assist him with his pokemon training... or supposed..." clearly that had been utterly unnecessary
PostPosted: Fri Mar 04, 2011 3:21 pm

She hadn't given him a reason to glare. Yet. Seth kept his demeanor calm and professional for now. Not to mention, sudden movements and such would be out of the question for this meeting. An injured and drugged Seth was certainly fortuitous for anyone who was having to meet with him like this.

His frown remained as Faleen confirmed and expounded on her relations with the red haired man.

"And you had no reason to suspect anything?"

She shook her head softly "At the time sir, No I didn't" she answered "He acted like any other grunt, from my experience with him he was just a normal guard, struggling with his team and lacking inspiration."
She hesitated, furrowing her brow with a soft frown, but not looking away from Seth as she spoke with him.
"In hind sight, things he said, or actions I witnessed raise suspicion and awareness... now that I know who he really is. but at the time his behavior toward me wasn't much different from other grunts I've interacted with..."
who knew... maybe there was some glaringly obvious hints that she hadn't noticed, either because of social inexperience, or maybe she was just blind because she considered him a friend... though, more likely than not, he had just been very careful, But than why take the chance of having her come down as often as she did... He was probably using her to keep up with what was going on at HQ. Seth had to be aware of this.

"Sir, we did talk, socially, I'm unsure if he was seeking information of a certain kind, but sometimes the topics would be about Team Rocket, he would usually ask about rumors that he heard that spread to the branch from the HQ..."

Brows furrowed over cool blues as he listened carefully to what Faleen was saying. He didn't consider Faleen to be stupid, she was actually quite intelligent and good at what she did. If she wasn't, she wouldn't be in his department. Thus, it had to be assumed that Lance was a good actor. Which was to be expected since he went unnoticed by anyone for what was apparently, months.

"This isn't the first time he's infiltrated Team Rocket," Seth spoke evenly. "The one other time was during the Lake of Rage incident." He didn't know if she knew about that or not, but she could look it up if she didn't. "The intent is to make this the last time."

He paused, judging Faleen's reaction for a moment before continuing. "Since you had the most contact with them, I need details. What did he ask, and what did you tell him? What sorts of things was he involved in? The more information the better. Leave nothing out."

Upon hearing that this wasn't the first time that Lance had interfered with Team Rocket her eyes narrowed softly, though not directly at Seth, face drifting down toward his desk for a moment, quietly angry, the skin over her cheek bones flushing a little.
This hadn't been the first time... the idiot was trying to be some kind of hero or something?

She wasn't familiar with the incident that Seth was talking about, but she did intend to find out tonight when she got off duty.

Either way, she agreed with Seth, this had to end, and others had to learn that no matter who you were, you couldn't mess with Rocket and get away with it.
He needed to learn from the mistake he made.
She calmed her features, before returning her eyes to Seth, taking a moment to sort through her thoughts as she nodded.
"I'll recall as much as I can Sir. If there is anything in particular though..."

Here she paused again, thinking back to anything that would stand out in her memory.
"Most of our discussions were based around Pokemon... personal questions toward one another, the usual social tactics used when meeting someone new and becoming more familiar with them.
I would mention the robotics department sometimes, but nothing in depth on the projects... I think he knows that there are defenses around the HQ. But he didn't ask many prying questions about it, not that I think he needed to, he had told me once that he had looked at my public profile... I'm not sure who else he might have looked up.
When I would return from a mission, he would ask about it, I would clarify rumors for him, and we would discuss what further options might exist for Team Rocket... with Team Galactic in the picture."
Here she paused again, lowering her gaze back to the desk, as she frowned thoughtfully.
Thinking back, most of their interaction consisted of just... friendly conversations... they talked about Pokemon and progress a lot, bettering themselves... always wanting to better themselves, and encouragement toward one another.
This of course, drew a weighted breath from her nose. But her features didn't change from that of controlled anger, and she didn't stop.

"He would show me devices that needed repairs done in the branch, and as I mentioned before; most of the time was spent talking about Pokemon, since he was claiming at the time that he was having trouble controlling his Charizard -" She furrowed her brow at this, softly scowling. "-Or in the city. we kept in contact via e-mail, with updates on our work schedules."

"The things that stand out more in my memory now that he's come out as a traitor, are the looks he would sometimes get when I would talk about some of the tasks that Rocket preformed, stealing Pokemon and other such jobs, he asked a lot about those.
The last time I saw him, I was out with Grunt Kofuku at one of the parks in the City, he was talking on his cell phone with someone, but I didn't hear who it was, and he hung up fairly quickly when Kofuku drew his attention to us. though I overhead him mention something about "Ending" something soon.
I'm uncertain if he knew the location to the main HQ, Sir, I remember suggesting that he take lessons to help with his Charizard, but he said that becasue of his duties that was unlikely to happen. I get the impression that maybe he hasn't been."

That had been to basics of what they had talked about, and the things he had said to her, or what they had done.
Here she left it open for any questions the Elite might ask that could help her better narrow down what they might be looking for
while she paused herself to think if there might have been anything else she could narrow down, or recall.

Right now though she was having trouble getting past remembering him mostly asking her personal questions about herself, or her opinions. Why? He could have gotten so much more out of her, more than where she grew up, or why she liked dark types.
Either he was getting something out of her that way that she wasn't aware of, or he wasn't as good at undercover information gathering as they seem to think he is... unless he was getting it from somewhere else.
More than likely, she was just being used to try and better his visage as a member of Team Rocket.

Seth watched Faleen's reaction very carefully, his frown held in place so that one might even think it was permanent. The elite remaining silent as he listened to his subordinate's tale of how her and "Will" had interacted.

Once she was done, Seth grunted to himself a little bit before making his reply. "The fact that he mostly spoke of Pokemon doesn't surprise me much. The man has quite attached to them as most trainers in the league are. Lance is the epitome of what is considered to be an ideal trainer. He speaks often of loving and making friendships with Pokemon, which is simply nonsense. He's far too soft hearted for his own good. It has become his undoing."

Seth paused for a moment as he continued to think, brows knitted over his eyes as he kept his gaze leveled on the grunt. "Despite it all, he seems to be more crafty and competent than I thought. He hid under our noses all this time. Clearly, he knew what he was doing, and was using you as a means to his own ends. Likely trying to gain your trust in order to get information about raids and other things out of you that were not in the database. I'm convinced that its because of him, that all of our raids up until now, have been met mostly with failure and heavy casualties. For that reason, I want you to report to the outpost and do a thorough search of his room and find out what he's been into."

Her hands clenched lightly into first over her lap, jaw clamping tightly, Seth put it into perspective alright, and the fact that she might have been used to further help him foil, or harm Team Rocket did not sit well with her.
That's all it had ever been.
This ashamed, and humiliated her.

She listened to him talk, nodding softly when he gave her the assignment to report to the branch and see if there were any clues in his room.
"Yes Sir. I will do that right away."
At least she could do this, she would help make things right.

"Oh." She spoke up again, remembering something, reaching over and removed one of the dusk balls from the strap, leaning forward she placed it onto Seth's desk.
"Sir, this is his Growlithe."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 10, 2011 3:54 pm

Seth took the dusk ball and hummed thoughtfully as he looked at it, a sort of vengeful smirk crossing his face. "I believe the lab expressed some interest in this Pokemon." He said partly to himself before pocketing the ball. If anything, it would harm the champion to know that one of his Pokemon was being experimented on.

The elite then looked back to Faleen. "I trust you won't be so gullible in the future." He told her with a disapproving edge to his voice. If anything, this experience would either make or break the grunt. He certainly hoped it would be the former. "Report back to me with your findings. You're dismissed."

Eyes scanned over the Growlithe's dusk ball once more, with complete unconcern, she was done, she didn't want anything to do with it anymore.
"In that case, I apologize for not turning it in sooner, Sir"
Had she known they wanted it, she would have found someone to turn it into sooner.

When his attention moved back to her, she moved her eyes back over to pay attention to him, falling very still with his comment toward her.
the statement numbing her a little, but she responded with a nod and a "Yes Sir,"
.... gullible... of everything, she had been gullible. her brow knit together, her eyes lowering to her knees as she quietly stood when she was dismissed. "Thank you sir, I will report back." she confirmed.

Her look was significantly more cold as she made her way out of the elite's office and down the hall when she met with the Agent to escort her out.
Will had made her gullible... gullible he played her, like she was an idiot,
gullible!.
That delusional sister of hers was gullible, Rosie was gullible.
Faleen was not supposed to be, and it disturbed her that she had been so blind!

Gloved hands clenched at her side, stepping back into the main hall, her strides lengthened as she then folded her hands behind her back, making her way to the garage for a vehicle she could take to the city branch.
PostPosted: Wed Mar 16, 2011 2:08 am

Travel to the city took quite a bit of time, and once she got there, she took her time in making sure she didn't miss anything... not that there was much to find in the first place. It seemed this Lance was careful not to leave obvious evidence out for them to find.
This of course didn’t sit well with Faleen, having nothing to bring back to Seth was not going to help her out at all, or please the Elite.
She didn’t want to leave empty handed, but after the third time scouring over the same small room, ever crack and inch of it and coming up with nothing but a few extra uniforms, the usual basic living necessitate and un-cashed checks, she was becoming quite frustrated.
A good ten minutes were spent, sitting on the edge of the empty bed frame, hunched forward where her hands where raised to hold her head, fingers tangled in her hair, spending this time thinking of anything she might have missed… anything she could try and remember that might be more useful to the Elite. Replaying interactions over and over...
After a time, Faleen lowered her hands, and pushed herself back to her feet, Hazel eyes glancing around the room once more before she made her way out into the hall.
Even if it was for her own curiosity, she should at least talk to someone.

It was late evening by the time Faleen pulled back into the vehicle storage garage at the main HQ. The engine was cut, once she had pulled into the correct parking stall.
Pulling the keys out of the ignition, Faleen let off a soft sigh, eyes glancing over to the passenger seat, where a thin file folder sat.
She had been hoping for more, but she would have to take what she got.

Reaching to her belt, she unclipped her Rocket Dex, sending a notification to Elite Seth that she had returned to base.

It was long after normal duty hours, yet Seth was still in his uniform when he received the message from Faleen.

He was soon waiting for her in his office, after telling her to meet him there.

"What did you find?" Was the first thing that came out of his mouth when the grunt entered. The elite looking up as he sat at his desk once again.
