♡ The Wedding ❤
Location: The Church
Time: 11AM - 11PM

Ah, the time of year for such a glorious, loving, wonderful thing as a wedding! One should come dressed in their very best to see the blushing bride and dashing groom be united under the eyes of the island goddess and join in the lifelong ceremony of marriage~! The candles are kept lit throughout the ceremony, the sheer amount keeping an otherworldly glow about the church - even the windows seem to light up when the ceremony is at it's peek! It really is a sight that can't be described by words as the Goddess and her children bless the day with their invisible presence - just hope you get invited too!

A grand wedding would certainly describe Gaston's marriage ceremony at the church! There were servants running back and forth, candles being kept lit and wiped free of any excess wax every few moments by a maid on hand – thus pegged the 'wax-wipers' by Gaston's own brother. The pews were shined and polished with each decorated with their own silk, stark white cushion to better suit the event taking place. With how clean and decorated the church was this one time of year, it was a wonder that the Goddess shouldn't be at least somewhat happy – there were more people gathering inside the church than ever before the town's revival! But, alas, they weren't here to actually worship the Goddess, nor was the church scrubbed and cleaned so dutifully for her pleasure – no, this whole blessing was nothing more but on the whim of the very mayor the Gods so hated. With envy, as Gaston would assure himself should he think the Goddess hold any disdain towards him, but it was still a hate nonetheless! Only one fairy would actually be happy on this glorious day – and that was Orchid, the little Earth fairy. A joining of her two followers, of course, was an event for her to see! It was part of the ceremony for her to witness it, although most of the inhabitants would chalk this up to fairytale than anything, which was why the fairy went unnoticed near the ceiling of the church, seated comfortably on a ceiling beam from where she could witness the whole event in safety of the naked eye.

Below, was the first visitors of the wedding! Kade Waldroup, owner of the local salon, was busying himself in wait for the rest of the hair and make up artists on the list to pretty up the bride and everyone else important to the wedding. He stood in a classic tuxedo, surprisingly enough. He wasn't in the mood to try and brighten up the joyful event, not when it was all about love and.. stuff that he got the short end of the stick at. Walking into the Church a short way away from him was Zhi Xiqui, who came in the only formal thing she had time to shove together – the same yellow, sparkly prom dress that she wore to the Masquerade a year back. She had went immediately to searching for someone she knew, unsure on what she was supposed to do at a wedding when she hadn't actually been to one before. Moving from her was Romane Bissette, essentially here as the guard on duty to make sure nothing went wrong during the event. She, of course, was in her uniform, as per usual. Last out of all of this was Gaston himself – or.. Oh? No! Gaston wasn't here! Ah, of course, he was! He was getting ready in a tent set up outside of the church as everyone gathered inside the building.

What a nice day for a wedding~ Honestly, Haruka had no idea why she was invited, as she didn't know anyone involved in the wedding. And if they were just inviting people at random, why was she invited and not her mother? Or uncle? Regardless, she decided it wouldn't hurt to go. She wouldn't deny a chance to wear a pretty dress, afterall! She actually had been a little excited to come. She spent days looking for the perfect dress. She had to be fashionable. There was no excuse for anything less. Sure, her dress had been kind of expensive, but it was totally worth it. She felt very grown up, going to a wedding by herself, but the moment she entered the church and began standing off to the side awkwardly, she began to feel insecure again. If only her mother had been invited!

Mei had been apprehensive about coming out to something involving the mayor after the masquerade last year, but she had long since calmed her nerves. This was a wedding! A celebration of love! And better than that, Mao made no indication of coming. She, supposedly, was free to enjoy herself however she'd like! She was kind of excited. She had pulled out her dress from her nineteenth birthday party. Surprisingly, she still fit! She stood in the entryway of the church, gawking somewhat. She had never been to a wedding in a church before. It was so extravagant!

Much like Haruka, Alex was confused as to why he had been invited, and even more so to find out that his sisters had been included as well. He had, at first, just assumed that everyone was invited, but upon arriving at the church, it looked like maybe the turnout wouldn't be as big as he thought. He let out a small sigh as he and his sisters got to the church and looked around. He had never been a fan of weddings, especially when he had to buy a new tux. The last time he had been to a wedding, it had been his brother's, and he was easily two inches shorter and twenty pounds heavier. (High school had been a rough time for him) He was much better suited for weird hippie weddings, where everyone wore casual clothes and it was held in someone's backyard. This was too formal for him, and he felt uncomfortable.

River tailed close behind, and had been chatting the entire time. This was her first wedding (that she could remember!) and she was excited! She got to wear a pretty dress and everything! "Hey, Alex, when you get married, you should have a wedding this fancy, too," she tugged at her brother's sleeve when they entered the church. Yes, the topic of her mindless chatter had been Alex for the past ten minutes, and he was getting tired of it. Elliot was silent, glancing around in mild awe. "Hey, it's Zhi..." she pointed out her friend. She wasn't hard to pick out; there weren't many people there yet and she was wearing the same yellow dress from the Masquerade!

Truth to be told, neither Yoakim, or his grandmother, or his wife or his sister in law wanted to com to the wedding, but, the local newspaper had changed their mind, mostly because they all knew that Gaston was crazy enough to burn them on the town square if they didn't show up, and they couldn't run away fast enough. The only member of the LeBlanc family who really wanted to be there was Alanis. No one, exept Blair and Lucas, who were also among the group, understood how Alanis could be crazy enough to want too. Well, the two teenagers knew. The rest of the family had simply assumed that she wanted to be part of a fancy event and cook for it, wich was partly true. They had all walked to the church together, but, if one was to notice, someone was missing! It was Wilhelm! Where was the young boy? Who was talking care of him? Well, the only other member of both family who hadn't been asked to come was Judith. This had made a small argument between Ellie and her Husband, who really didn't wanted his mother to take care of their child, which the young mother couldn't really understand why. She would probably start to get a clue, later that evening, when she would go pick the little boy up and find him dressed in a miniature German S.S. army uniform....

Someone else who was very unhappy about having to get there was Lotte. She had absolutly no idea why she had been invited! She had complained to her sister (the lucky uninvited one) about not wanting to go! It was only when Freja had told her that there would be many people there and she could probably find a 20$ on the ground or something by the end of the event and that there would be free food that Lotte had finally stopped whining. Still, it was in her plan to crash the wedding by pulling a gun on the groom! A water gun, but still! That would teach him to annoy her!

A Very perplex Kevin had also been invited. He had no idea why, since, he was new to the island and barely knew anybody of importance, even less the groom or the bride. He had figured, like Alex, that everyone had been invited. He had made sure to take his biggest black glasses so he could sleep through the wedding without anyone noticing. At least there was something good about being blind....

Neil, on the other hand, was probbaly the happiest person to have been invited! Covering the wedding of a rich person! Oh, he could find so many dirtly little secrets about the invited when they started to get drunk! He couldn't wait it! Maybe he would finally know just were the bride and placed the body of her dead family. He knew she had bludgeon them with a baseball bat in a fit of rage and had hidden the bodies after that! He just needed said bodies to find out the Truth!

Reinbach, like his brother, was in the little tent behind the church, trying to make his brother look as pretty as possible! Today was HIS day after all! Who cared about the bride? No, it was all about Gaston Sonata! "Ah, no, no, no Dear Brother! This Wig really don't go well with the colours of your eyes! I am afraid you will have to let the blue haired peasant touch you, after all..." For a reason he couldn't understand, Gaston had protest about Kade doing his hair. Still, it wasn't the first time a peasant or a servant touched him (in more than one way). He Just needed to take a bath after! Why the big fuss?

"I cant believe i have to come to this ********-" Jan started before a hand was clasped over his mouth. Integra's of course. Jan was grabbed in a nice suit and for once had the majority of his piercings out of his face. The one in the tongue stayed as did the one down below. He also wasnt wearing his beanie hat and actually had been forced to have his hair washed several times, conditioned several times more and combed. He looked halfway decent.

"I dont enjoy this either. But we still have to come.. unless you want to die." Integra said as she uncupped Jans mouth. She was wearing a beautiful long ebony gown. Her hair done up in a simple up do that she had done herself it wasnt Kade quality but it was good.
_

The twins came intogether. Vladimir in a crimson suit, ebony shirt underneath with a red tie to match. And of course his god awful sunglasses that just worked for him. Dante of course was in drag, a beautiful Chinese dress ensamble with part of his hair done up in a tight bun, the rest hung free and flowed with the wind like his brothers. They took a seat together, besides Integra and Jan who had sat. Of course Dante was keeping an eye out for Raiden.. whom he'd completely abandon everyone for.. in a heartbeat.
_

Una came in with Hansel, she was wearing one of her lighter colored lolita dresses. And Hans was in a nice brown suit with a white shirt underneath and a cream colored tie. He sat by the twins on the other side of them, Una scooted in to sit besides Dante and Integra. But soon she spotted Zhi and waved to her. "Guten tag Zhi!" Una shouted with a smile before she sat down. Where was Freja?
_

Pip arrived in a white suit, ebony shirt underneath and no tie. He didnt enjoy ties.. too easily could you be choked by them. His hair was done up in a nice French braid and hanging on his arm was Madame Alice in all her beautiful glory. "T'ere are alot of people 'ere no?" Pip said with a smile to Alice. "Where do you want to sit Mademoiselle?"
__

And where was Walter? Walter was busy smoking a cigarette before he came into the wedding itself. He joined the Twins and Hans. He was garbed in a simple ebony suit with a dark purple shirt underneath and ebony tie to match his vest and slacks. Hopefully this wouldnt be the masquerade all over again.

((realized i cant have Walter working for Gaston if he isnt fired from the Grindhouse, cause thats the same night Vlad and Bela get kidnapped.))

Celeste was in awe. There was no other word for it, and no help for it. The church was beautiful in all of it's wedding day glory and good cheer. Of course it was for the Mayor, so she probably shouldn't have been so surprised that they went all out like this. Feeling a moment of nervousness she looked down at her dress brushing out none exsistant wrinkles before looking up to the other guests. Thankfully she didn't seem to be too over or underdressed as she had previously worried. She had never been to such an important wedding before, and with that article in the paper she was just a tad bit afraid to make these people angry. A relieved smile lifted the corners of her mouth and she moved farther into the church, looking around hopefully for Freddy, or possibly Crimson or Freja, though she didn't know if they had been invited. She really hoped she wasn't going to have to sit through this wedding alone.

If a smile was given to her, then she would return it with her own. Mindy had chosen to wear on of Mae's dresses, since she really wasn't one of formal parties herself. Scrubs and casual wear is more her thing. This even was mandatory though. Might as well pay my respects. A man with a tray wandered up to her with glasses of wine but she shooed him away for drinking was not her style either. The nurse wondered why she was invited and not her sister. Even her own leech brother was invited. Speaking of, where is he? After receiving that letter in the mail about him, she had been worried sick about his whereabouts. She would call for Mae soon and see if she has seen the boy around. Maybe he will show up here? If not, she made the decision to go to the Police Station to file a report about a missing family member after the wedding. A soft sigh came from her as she began to dwell on things.

Amanda Hope O'Conner

Oh. My. Goodness. Walking into the church Amanda was extremely impressed as to how pretty everything looked. People were certainly dressed to the nine's so to speak for this wedding that much was for sure. They women also all had much more fabric in their dresses then she had. She kind of felt like she needed to leave and change, but she had already made her appearance and it would most definatly have been rude to leave and come back later. Sighing softly she tugged softly at her dress and ran a teal tipped had through her casual curled updo hairstyle. Walking in a bit further she clicked on the tile floor in her uniquely colored heels. Blushing slightly Amanda looked around and clutched her bag slightly due to nerves. Taking a deep breath she shifted the bag again in her hands and hoped she hadn't forgotten anything necessary. Her camera equipment had been left behind because she hadn't wanted to take pictures without being asked. Looking around for a familiar face Amanda spotted the boob man from the animal festival, and Celeste. Feeling some of the nerves lift Amanda clicked her way over in her heels, "Hello Celeste! Oh goodness am I happy to see a familiar face." Smiling Amanda wondered idly who else she might know who would be coming.

Zelynity's outfit
Zelynity stepped into the church, it was absolutely gorgeous! She awkwardly glanced around the place. She needed to find out who did these decorations~ She would have to have them do her wedding... whenever that may be. She decided it was probably best to just stand around and hope that someone would approach her. Her attempts to make friends as of late still left her without anyone to speak to at this wedding. She wished more and more as each second went by that Raiden would have been invited to at least give her some company. Although, he'd probably run off and leave her anyway.

_________________________________________

Xeiro opened his car door, of course even though it was right in town Xeiro would drive in style to the place. He stepped outside, his dress shoes making a nice click as they came into contact with the pavement. He slid his hand over the lock and quickly shut the door before placing the keys in his pockets and walking around to the other side. After all, he would need to let his lover out.

He pulled the handle of her door and extended his hand to her with a big smirk. This was one thing that they were great at, showing off. They were both so damn sexxxy. It made these kind of things easy. He kissed her hand gently once she was on her feet, soaking up all the glances he could possibly get. He also knew she didn't mind being a trophy--- lover. "M'lady." He smiled and let go of her gently before placing his hands into his pockets and venturing his way into the church.

This seemed as though it were going to be a long, unpleasant day. But, at least he had Bela to make it that much more endurable. He opened the door for her, soaking up the entire gentleman thing as much as he could. "Where should we sit, Ms. James?" He turned to her again with another large smile.

Nirvani's grand wedding. Eleanor wasn't thrilled about coming here at first, but there was something about getting threatened that made you change your mind. The young mother was besides her husband, keeping an eye on the toddler walking besides her. Rune was four now, and quite capable of wandering about, which was why Ellie had a firm grip on the little girl's hand. It was strange not having her son with them. She was still wondering why Yoakim was so against leaving Willhelm with Judith, but leaving the thought alone was probably better for now. Staying true to Gaston's being pretty rule, Ellie was looking quite beautiful tonight in her black gown and her white hair in loose curls.

The mini her was looking quite adorable as well. Rune had a cute little dress with roses at it's end. She was just about looking at everything around, trying to pronounce whatever she saw, even if no one was listening to her.

This was a huge step for Blaire. Gaston's punishment was something she was considering greatly, after she promptly decided she wasn't going. It wasn't because of the stabbing though, she was getting out of that shell -like a step more than before-. Her recent trauma was none other than her hair. After career week with Kade, which was a set up she was sure, she had been in a funk about her long hair being butchered. The new color wasn't so bad... she'd actually grown to love them. But the length... Blaire sighed as everyone entered the church ahead of her. Should she just leave? Nah... she'd stick it out. The teenager nodded slightly and headed to the doors, stepping inside the church. The girl wore a long black gown that had pink at it's end. Much like it's owner now right? Er white and pink, but close enough. She wanted to match the pink. Now where to go?

Hayden, though unsure why he was invited, was pretty happy to be here. He had almost forgotten about the Masquerade, the nagging feeling refused to a little beep that wondered if everything would be fine, nothing that wouldn't dissipate soon enough. The sculptor took a few steps into the church, smiling as he scanned the place over. It was stunning, simply beautiful. This would be a beautiful wedding... hopefully. He had to worry, this being Gaston after all. Hayden was not diminishing the beauty however! Sorting an auburn suit, this blond was capable of turning a few necks.

Gaston, getting married... Rachel wasn't going to lie. She laughed when she heard the news. Who would manage to stand this man, she only wished luck. Now she wouldn't complain really. Maybe this meant he'd be too busy to cause the mayhem he had lately. One could only hope. The officer moved around the church, keeping an eye around the place before stopping near the entrance, a hand going instinctively to her hip. Normally that's where her gun was at, but today they were hidden underneath her beautiful black gown, strapped to her legs. It wasn't as open as the one she had in the Masquerade, but she'd deal. Her hair had gotten some love, but otherwise keeping it's usual loose appearance. Hey, it worked.

A wedding... well it had been quite some time since Alice was invited to one of these. She honestly couldn't remember the last one, though she could bet she was still in school when it happened. It was apparently mandatory here, and the brunette ended up inviting Pip to accompany her. They were on pretty good terms weren't they? When things weren't going hell wise at work but still. The beautifully dressed madame had an arm intertwined with Pip's, walking besides him as they arrived. She wore an ebony gown that had it's traditional opening on the side, and her eye patch was a pretty plain one to match her dress. "There sure are. I could bet most of the island might be here" commented the woman, returning the smile to Pip. "Anywhere is fine with me... How about over there?" It wasn't that crowded, yet, and they had a pretty good view... and they weren't that far from the exits. Best to be safe this time.

Lucas had been having a few good days lately. However, the boy was fretting over this activity... drastically. Ever since the Masquerade, he was horribly frightened at any other public event hosted by Gaston. Normally he just wouldn't go, but he was appointed a chef, sent an invitation, and threatened via newspaper so... yeah. The teenager sported a blue suit without a tie. It made him look pretty dashing actually, if you got over the fact he was a nervous wreck. Nervous or not, he'd still be following Alanis, since they were appoint to poison cook.

Not far from the group that came in was Camelia, quickly taking a seat. She had gotten tired of walking around after Lucas today, so she would take in the view of the place after she sat down near the only two she knew, the Tepes twins. The young adult had to admit it was stunning, everything was. Not to mention the people there too, she was no exception. Cam wore a dark gray gown, which was flattered with a well managed up-do. She did look wonderful.

Julia was pretty much confused as to why she was here. Well invitation-wise. She was only the librarian after all! But the woman wouldn't deny a chance to get out and meet some people would she? Books were perfect, but something different was good, like oh say human contact? The female laughed slightly at that thought, before making her way through the church to take a seat. For a bookworm, she could certainly dress up. Julia sported a midnight blue gown, along with flowing ebony curls. However, she could've changed the glasses for contacts, but Julie wasn't perfect, and forgot about them.

The Roman son arrived at the church, grinning widely at the whole activity. A chance to be out and about, dress up, and enjoy the night, though maybe bore themselves a bit. Still, he was dressed to turn a few gal's heads, or so he hoped, single chicks were all the rage at a wedding, in a classic black suit with a flash of red from it's shirt and a black. The whole ensemble complemented his long red hair, which was loose today, giving him a pretty wild look that went well with the sophisticated air of the suit.

Right besides him was Ilya, stunning as ever. She chose to go out in a silver gown and her hair was let loose as well, dark green locks flowing freely. The woman walked besides her step-brother, as they took a seat at one of the near designated areas. "This is truly beautiful" smiled Ilya, taking a look around.

Bright eyes quickly scanning through the faces or the already present partygoers, Celeste had been surprised to realize she recognized quite a few faces. Vladamir, owner of the general store and the man who had been flirting with Crimson was looking pretty good in his crimson suit. Celeste smiled at that thought. Neil was here as well, and she felt mild disappointment that it was him and not his brother, or even better his nephew. There was also River, a teammate of her's now from two festivals. She had even won the Tomato Festival for their team. Even Xeiro was here, looking just a delectable as his cookies in that suit.

The sound of approaching heals had Celeste finishing her circuit a little quickly, and ending on Amanda. A happy smile lit her face as she returned the greeting. "Amanda!" She was pleasently surprised to find she had been invited too. "I know what you mean. It's good to see you. I like your dress. How are Jet and Abby?" She asked, remembering that Amanda had brought them by the Vet a few days ago.

"Both are doing well, I think they both wanted out of the house and to meet some new people for a change. I guess I'll need to take them out into town more often now. And Crimson ran a few tests while we were there, if anythings wrong in those then I'm sure he will let me know. They seem alright though now." Looking around a little, Amanda hoped to see a few more people that she had met in her shhort time on the Island.

"It seems like an eclectic group of people that have been invited. I know a few faces, some only by reputation, but it seems that there are many more that I don't know." Realizing that she had rambled a tad bit Amanda blushed. "I love your dress by the way, it suites your coloring really well! Ah. Sorry, that's the photographer talking right there." Laughing a bit she looked again at the decorations around the room - it truly was a lovely place, although it had been spruced up some due to the rather important event happening today. "How well do you know the Bride and Groom, Celeste? It's terrible to say so, but I don't know either of them. I was suprised to have been invited to this wedding.." Trailing off slightly, Amanda hoped she hadn't left things a tad akwardly with the way she had phrased her last question.

Bela had been rather reluctant to go as Xeiro's date for this whole shebang, since she never brought a date to these kinds of events. They just sorta... popped up. Like Walter, at the Masquerade. Who she had forced to be her date for the night. Aside from all the deaths and blood, she remembered that Walter was a very good dancer. She was rather glad to see Xeiro, knowing it was him as soon as the car came to a stop beside her as she walked to the Church. There was a little game between them, then. In the end, seeing how much was left to walk and wanting to make a snazzy entrance, Bela had jumped into the car happily. She was glad the A.C. was working, because her hair would be a mess if she rolled the windows down... she still needed to see Kade. Why was she putting that off so much, anyway?

Once the car came to a stop, she worked on getting her seatbelt undone and before she could put her hand out toward the handle, Xeiro had opened it for her. Just like at the Beach that time. But this time, however, she took it daintily and stepped out with a slow grace. Showing off, like they both liked to do. And smiled gently when Xeiro went to kiss her hand, that was new to his repetoire. She, instead, ignored the M'Lady comment. She wasn't the sappy type, not even in public!

As for their day, it would probably be long and unpleasant. Especially, because there was going to be some kind of after party, of sorts. Oh well, she could sneak Xeiro into Gaston's one of many convenient broom closets and smex him up in there. She wouldn't do it in the church, however. Though she hated religion and most anything to do with it, she did have an certain respect for the establishment. It was because of this respect that she almost never went back to any church, aside from her strong hate toward her rigid father instilling the hatred toward it for her. Resentment, that's what she held for religion and all it's little sub-levels. They were all so restricting, and nobody hated restrictions more than Bela.

Once they were at the entrance to the place, she half-feared she'd go up in flames. Giving Xeiro an smirk as she slipped inside ahead of him, looking over the different people. There were so many! "I say we sit on the husband's side, I would hate to be mistaken as part of the Bride's family. It's rather appalling how much we have in common. Except, you know, that she's a fat a** ex-preggo and marrying an idiot." Bela answered with a shrug, looking over the decorations as she spoke. After a beat, her eyes fell on Xeiro's large smile and she was tempted to kiss him. Maybe it was the suit, it made him look... different. But, she withheld it and took his hand to guide him to an empty spot, enjoying the click of her heels on the floor. It was reassuring. She was sad, however, that her dress was so similar to the one at the Masquerade. Not the same one, though. That one was ruined by Herman's blood. White was really her color, and she couldn't help but cave in to buying a similar one after losing the other.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gemma, on the other hand, was already sitting off to the side, by herself. She was looking over the people's faces, sad that she didn't know anyone at all. And after she had dressed herself up so nicely, what a waste. Her tattoo poked through, but she kept the tattoo facing downward. And from afar, it looked just like a bracelet. Maybe Nanami or Crimson would arrive later, or maybe even Clover! She swore she saw some pink hair earlier, but it wasn't Clover's. She had been disappointed at that, having got her hopes up, just to see them crash down once she saw it wasn't her. Where had that woman gone?

Eh, some people were just good at falling off the face of the earth. Like she had some years ago, when she was younger. She smiled at the thought, imagining herself a regular Carmen San Diego! That would be. The. s**t. She entertained herself with that thought, while she hoped some stranger would approach her. Gemma was oddly self-conscious in this dress, and more so that there was no Matthew, Nanami or Crimson to keep her company. Sitting duck... that's what she was right now, among all those strangers.

Gaston exaggerated a sigh as the powdered wig just wasn't working out at all. He couldn't stand the idea of Kade touching his hair! Not when he was such a failure at being a hairstylist – he couldn't ever forget that year.. That year he had seen the horrors of the mockery of his.. Florence.. Wait, that didn't make any sense! Gaston didn't have a Florence before his beloved lemur, who was hanging off of the ceiling beams of the church as the monkey conversed with Orchid in a small, fitted tuxedo that Gaston had special ordered for his Florence a few weeks prior to the wedding! ..Of course he had to. If Reinbech hadn't shown up, Florence was his choice of best man! Unfortunately, the monkey would have to settle for being another guest. Ah, he had apologized all week for that! Oh, well, that was beside the point. It was all about, right then, how much he hated Kade for.. doing something that he didn't like. Did he need a reason anymore? “Indeed, dear brother, I suppose I will have to rise above this.” Ah, Gaston, such a martyr he was! He looked at the door of the tent with a pique in curiosity as he heard the sounds of the peasants arriving. They sounded happy, for the most part~! Ah! Of course! For their great mayor was getting married~! “Has my bride arrived yet, brother?” He questioned without a look his way, his eyes going back to the mirror with a frown. He didn't mean for the man to actually go out and check – really, what kind of a brother would Gaston be? The man would just have to send a servant of theirs to go check!

Romane was counting the heads of those who had come in, seeming bored in her work this time around. Or, rather, she seemed like same old Romane at a wedding. This wasn't much of her thing and, much like the hairdresser waiting inside the church for his crew, Romane tended to be more bitter when it came to such events than anything.. At least the event had yet to actually start. She scanned her eyes over the crowd once more, perking up when she spotted Rachel and Neil. Ah.. Her friends. She watched them from where she stood, wondering if she should perhaps go join them like so many were doing with their own social partners. But, then, she had work to do! She had to watch the wedding, assure herself nothing dangerous was to occur – after what had happened at the last event the mayor organized, she had to be on guard! Especially if she wanted to make sure that Rachel and Neil were not harmed during the event.. It wasn't as though she didn't care for the rest of the civilians, but she certainly was more motivated with her companions involved.

Oh, so boring~! No one had come yet and Zhi was just outright – oh! There was River!! A smile alighted her lips and she stared at her from afar, admiring her dress happily. She looked so pretty! She could hardly contain her heart at the sight of her one princess – or, well, not princess, but her fiance that was kinda not her fiance yet but still close enough to be called a fiance in her eyes.. Oh, what did that matter? It was River! She brushed a hand through her hair, making sure it was still in place before she even thought of running over to her. She brushed a hand over her dress, turned her head back to glance at her behind, then fixed her dress to get rid of any unnecessary crease.. Then, she started over to River hurriedly, hardly noticing Elliot as she breezed right by her and stopped at River's side to smile at her, a hint of shyness coming through. Well, she wasn't wearing anything as nice as River's outfit and.. this was a wedding~! Like what her and River would one day be doing! Her eyes sparkled as she glanced over the pews and isle, wanting to hold River suddenly in the romantic atmosphere – but, she refrained. She hadn't earned it yet.. She glanced at the German girl as she called out to her, raising a brow. Oh? So, did that mean that they were still on good terms – hey! That's right~!

She smiled at River, “Hello, River~!” She finally said after standing beside the woman for the last few moments, “Elliot. Alex.” She added with a nod and glance at the other two in greeting before looking back to the brunette, “Have you met Una yet?” She asked with a motion over to the blond girl sitting beside the twins.

After a short discussion with Kade, another woman dressed.. in a very expensive, risque looking dress walked on through the gathering crowd with an air of complete and utter boredom. She looked to be older – or she should have, for this woman, Donna, was Gaston's mother~! Thank God for plastic surgery, is all she could say on a comment on her persisting beauty through the years. Well, if someone she liked had asked – no way in the hells would she admit she had even had a single face lift done. She was only here for the few hours that the wedding would take place, only because her first child was actually getting married.. Not that she cared very much, but she was bored and there wasn't anything better to do. So, here she was, setting up a wedding. She had a clipboard in hand as she strolled through the people, pausing every so often to inform them of their roles.

She had stopped before Alex Park and told him, flippantly, “You will be one of the groomsmen, go over to the designated tent to be informed on your role.” Then, she moved on without waiting for his response to Yoakim LeBlanc, “Groomsman.” She looked at Eleanor Vatonage next, “Bridesmaid.” Then she glanced down at Rune Vatonage, “Ring Bearer.” With a snap of her fingers, three maids had rushed forward to grab the three and drag them off to their separate tents for their make up and run through. Donna moved on over to Alanis LeBlanc and, with a snap of her fingers and a stated, “Maid of Honor and Chef.”, a servant had come to escort the blond away.

Bela James was being hassled by a maid to go join the bridesmaids, along with Xeiro Rameri and Celeste Trelawny. Kevin McMahon and Hayden Rusacanth were both dragged to join the groomsmen. Soon, Amanda O'Conner was dubbed the wedding photographer and Lucas Grey was carried off by a burly bodyguard to the kitchen to work with Alanis.. Which ended Donna in front of the twins, having to actually pause in her walk around the church with a frown in displeasure. Damned twins. “Which of you has the godawful name of Dante Tepes?” ..Yes, she didn't like his name. Did someone want to say something? Of course not, this was Donna, among one of the richest women in the country and certainly the best looking, as far as she was concerned! She raised one perfect eyebrow to one of the twins to speak, whether it be the sad woman or the too tall man.

Gwen Bloom
Weddings were always so cute, though Gwen wondered why exactly she had been invited to this one. She hadn't met the man or his fiance, except for when he had judged her food at the cooking festival. She didn't consider that enough of a relationship to come to a wedding, but she figured if she was invited, the whole town must be. When was the last time she had gone out anyway? She needed a big event like this to get her out of the house.

She had donned a pretty yellow dress with a floral touch, one of the one's she had bought on her own. She looked pretty in an innocent way, and as always she appeared a few years younger than she actually was. It was just the way things were, it had never been any different.

The church, she had been there often, to visit the graves, but this was the first for a happy occasion. She walked to the door, holding her dress to avoid touching the ground, as nude strappy heels clicked on the floor. It wasn't long until she was able to look around the pews, wow, the church really was decked out. It was stunning, Gwen could only dream to have a wedding like this. She looked over the crowd to see people she knew...hm...Bela, who was with a guy...interesting, Walter, the bartender she had met on new years, with him a few other people she remembered from the bar, including Vlad. She wondered if it would be overbearing to sit with him, or at least with his group? It would be worse to barge in on Bela's 'date', so instead she approached Vlad and his friends.

"Good evening everybody..." she said, directing a smile at the group, though she took a little extra time on Vlad. She did like him, or what he did, well she liked both. She looked to the svelte, pink-haired lady talking to them, she looked to be in some sort position of power, so she must have something important to say.

Ferris Randall
While Gwen slipped into the church, Ferris' car pulled up next to the curb, he stepped out of the back seat, and the car pulled away. He brought no one, because he knew no one. He didn't even care about the wedding, he just thought maybe his sister would be there. He wasn't sure if in a crowd like this he would be able to find her, at least she wouldn't be expecting him.

He felt a little nervous, what if he actually found her, what would he say to her? Yes, he did want her to come back to the city and live with him, he could take care of her there and she would stay out of trouble. His parents could rest easy knowing they'd outlive their own daughter. But would that be enough to convince her? If she was going to town events she was probably enjoying herself, he doubted she would want to leave. There was always hope in trying though, at least he wanted to see her.

He stood near the curb of the church and lit up a cigarette, maybe that would calm him down a bit. He'd sit in the back of the church...he didn't want Gwen to make a scene if she saw him.
