Isuke'Boon was bored. The day had been strangely uneventful. Usually by now she had found something to hunt or someone to talk to or to maybe fight. But no, not today. It seemed like the world around her was strangely lacking in other creatures today. She hadn't even been able to find any interesting little treasures or things to play with.
Finally she reached a little spot with a tree and some rocks. The tree reminded her that she hadn't sharpened her claws in a while and she lifted her paws to inspect them. Yes they were getting entirely too dull. Standing up on her hind legs, Isuke'Boon dug her claws into the bark of the tree and began pulling them downward, leaving gashed in the tree. She wiggled her paws in slight satisfaction but then the bored feeling overwhelmed her again and she flopped down with a mighty sigh. It seemed she may as well take a nap.

A voice floated down from above her.
"What, you're done shaking my tree already? I was having fun."
Manelesi peered down at the purple lioness. Oh yeah, she could shake his tree any time she wanted, baby.
It sometimes occurred to Manelesi that he might have more success in his never ending quest for tail if he took the time to get to know said tail before he hit on it. The downside of that was that it took so much time to get to know others, and in the end he had a decent enough success rate that he liked his Wham-baam approach. He had no idea who this lioness was or what her personal preferences were, but if she gave him an opening, he would hit on her. It was just the way he was.

Isuke'Boon's eyes shot back open as a voice came down from the trees. It seemed there was a cheetah up there, pale yellow with gold markings. She thought to herself that perhaps he was meant to be her entertainment for the day. Cheetahs did tend to be entertaining to her after all. She rose to her feet and padded back over to the tree.
"You would like me to continue? Ok then." Isuke'Boon rose up on her back legs again and dug her claws into the tree making an effort to shake it as much as possible. She didn't have to much trouble causing it to shake. She was both large and very strong.

Manelesi could feel his teeth shaking inside his mouth. Now that she was actually shaking the tree, instead of just scratching at it, he was getting a headache. He decided to get down.
"I appreciate your zealotry in the cause of shaking trees and amusing me, but I fear you're a bit too strong for the tree. Perhaps we could find another way to amuse ourselves?"
Besides, it had been a bit since he had had a female. Males were fun and all, but he needed some variety.

Sometimes Isuke'Boon didn't know her own strength. Though she felt proud of the amount of strength she had. "Yes I suppose that tree is no match for me." Her voice took on an amused tone. "Now what did you have in mind? I haven't seemed to find anything interesting all day until now." She would be more then glad to hear Manelesi's suggestion. Surely the cheetah had something interesting up his sleeve. If nothing else she'd be content to talk with him. She found that cheetahs were usually talkative from her experience.

"Well, I know you were pretty eager to shake my tree before, so how would you feel about shaking another kind of tree?"
Manelesi raised his eyebrows suggestively, then waggled them for good measure. He was trying to get his point across clearly. He hated having to spell it out for the objects of his ever fleeting attention. Like that lion a bit ago. Esche was it? that was it. He had to actually explain what he was talking about.
Hopefully this lioness would be quicker on the draw.

Isuke'Boon blinked a moment at Manelesi. She was quicker on the draw in the way that she knew exactly what kind of tree he wanted her to shake. However she couldn't believe that this little cheetah would be so bold. She let out a delightedly amused laugh.
"Oh I see... you want me to shake that tree then hm?" Isuke'Boon gave him a good once over as if sizing him up. "And what makes you think I want to shake your tree in such a manner?" Her tail flicked in amusement as she waited for his response. Well she was definitely no longer bored, which was a point in his favor already.

"Well, you don't have to shake my tree. I could do the shaking, you know. Cheetahs are pretty agile, you know."
Manelesi sat up and puffed his chest out. "As for why you would want to shake my tree, I'm remarkably handsome, dashingly debonair, quite funny, and I have no desire in cubs so you wouldn't have to worry about it. Also, I am completely healthy and put one hundred and ten percent into everything I do!"

Isuke'Boon gave yet another delighted laugh as Manelesi spoke. Really this cheetah was so very amusing with his self proclaimed list of virtues, puffing his chest out. Her tail swished behind her in her amusement.
"A hundred and ten percent? Goodness. Well that's more then I'm sure many males could say." Isuke'Boon gave another chuckle. "Though it's awfully careless of you to assume there will be no cubs, unless of course one of us is unable to produce cubs. Sometimes it only takes once you know." She looked him over carefully. She was still hopeful about having Xennek's cubs so having Manelesi's might not be a worry, but still she had to consider it as a possibility if she did let him shake her proverbial tree. She wondered what cubs that were half and half would be like.

"I meant that there are ways of preventing cubs if you don't want cubs. But if you do want cubs then you can keep them. I have no need for cubs. But if you did want cubs from me they would grow up into very attractive little buggers, from looking at their parents."
Manelesi had a feeling their would not be much tree shaking here. She was looking at him more like he was amusing then he was someone who's tree she might want to shake. Which was disappointing, but he would move on afterward, if that was her decision.

"Oh I see..." Isuke'Boon blinked slightly. She'd never heard of ways to prevent cubs. "I didn't know that." She didn't see anything wrong with admitting she didn't know something like that. Besides if it was common knowledge surely she would have heard about it by now. Maybe it was only common knowledge in certain circles.
Stretching a bit Isuke'Boon looked at him again. "I do suppose they would have attractive markings. However I wasn't interested in cubs. As for 'tree shaking' I very rarely do that with someone I know so little of, even if he is handsome and quite funny." She flicked her tail at him. It wasn't exactly a no, not in her book anyway. It was more her way of letting him know that if he was interested he'd have to do more then look good and amuse her for her to allow him to mate with her.

Manelesi flopped down dramatically.
"Oh, my wounded heart! Rejected again by a goddess of beauty, and I only wanting to make her happy!"
He opened one eye and peered at her from the ground. She did not seem to be relenting, alas. He would have to live with the disappointment.
Or just find another lady.

Isuke'Boon gave a delighted laugh.
"Goddess of beauty? You flatter me too much. I'm sorry about your poor wounded heart. Are you sure there's no way to mend it that doesn't involve tree shaking?" She gave a smile to the cheetah sprawled on the ground in front of her. She doubted there was much else he wanted from her but she figured it wouldn't hurt to offer.

"You don't know any other females around who would be interested in some tree shaking, would you?" Manelesi asked. No reason to become pessimistic because one got shot down a few times.
"I'm not picky, it doesn't have to be a lioness. It could be a leopard or a cheetah, even a mixed breed. Or a male, really. I was in the mood for some female tree shaking, but I wouldn't say no to a male who wanted his tree shaken."
Manelesi gave his head another shake. "Just let me know if you change your mind, miss."
