The sky was very blue today.. It was brilliant, crystal clear, with fluffy cumulus clouds dotting it, and there was just enough wind to make flight so much easier! It was days like this where Mischa loved having wings, soaring around like it wasn't anyone's business. His goggles covered his eyes, and hidden behind him was a jovial expression,
Today was the day he found that portal that his brother always spoke about. A portal, hidden in the park, between two trees that only children could fit between. Sure, he had been told that it had been destroyed a long time ago, but that doesn't mean he couldn't try to find it, right? And maybe he would be able to put it back together.
Soon enough, he came to the edge of the park, and glided down, grinning.
"Awesome~~!!" He exclaimed, having ACTUALLY not crashed into the ground like normal. He was slowly getting the hang of this, and it pleased him to no end. His backpack rattled a bit as he shifted it to his other shoulder.
With a deep breath, he began to make his way through the woods, looking for any sort of sign of the adventures that happened so long ago.

It had been some time since he'd been here, not since he'd led some friends here to meet with a rather large and rare species of demon. It had been worth the danger, it had gotten him into the Labs again, allowed him to watch some of the children that Vampy was making, and he couldn't help but to find it amusing. They were quite interesting though never like the one that he was basing them off of... he really wondered what Vampy's end game was, he meant to figure it out, but for now he was just inspecting the place. The portal was shattered, a damn shame given that behind it was a beautiful place that they had visited when they went on their fishing trip.
It was to bad that he lost touch with the sleepy one with the pretty hair, he really had hoped to get a feel for what the half breeds were being used for through him... and he'd gone as far as to go through another portal to the old lands so that he could get him a bubble fish too... he paused in his thoughts, turning to look over his shoulder as he heard a voice calling out and he moved to duck behind a large tree, wondering who was out there... not as though he had anything fear but at the same time he didn't want it discovered that he'd wandered off away from home again. He peeked around from behind the tree, lifting a hand up to brush his dark hair back to tuck it behind his ear.
"Alright... who's out there." He murmured to himself as he looked around, a curious look on his face.

Tree, trees and more trees.. There didn't seem to be any trace of the adventures that Edes and Cody had had so so so long ago. Well, it wasn't really that long ago, but it was before he was born. It seemed that nature had done a good job of hiding it all, especially since everything was covered in a thick layer of snow.
Mischa was never one who really got cold. Something inside him kept him a constant warm and fuzzy temperature, and many times, he was too busy searching for new things to even notice that his teeth were chattering, or his lips were turning blue. After being scolded one too many times by his father, he swore that he would not forget to take care of himself before Noel even allowed him to put on his coat.
The air around him was silent.. The only sounds his ears could pick up were that of the snow crunching beneath his boots. There weren't even any animal tracks around here! He swore, it was creepy beyond anything he could even imagine. His tentennas flattened against his head in nervousness as he realized that the silence around him was getting louder. He took a moment to stop and make a face at himself. Really? Silence getting louder. No, silly, silence is silent! It would get silencer-er... A soft laugh at his own expense was let out as he ventured out deeper.
Soon enough, the trees began to get thicker, and he could only tell where he had come from by the footprints that he left behind. But sure enough, there were markings on the trees.
"A Chase!" He exclaimed, and by the way the trees were clawed, it must have been something huge! Just like Edes had described it!
"!!!" The sounds of a voice, well, more like a breath, caught into his ears, and he whipped his head into the direction that he had thought it came from. Scared? No, he wasn't scared, but he knew better than approach the sound. If he got too close, there would be no chance of flying away if it was dangerous.
"What's out there?" He called out, having learned from previous experiences that fear should not be evident in your voice, but that didn't mean he wasn't scared. His tententenna were now hugging his head, as if he was trying to protect himself, though as small and pink as they were, nothing would be threatened by them. "I'm not going to hurt you, so come on out!"

The little, dark haired boy watched the one who was walking along, taking in the woods around him, and he lifted an eye brow, "Huh..." Was he following the path away from where the portal had been he found himself himself thinking... then shook his head, "Naw." That couldn't be, he hadn't seen this one that day, nor had he met him before. He was one of those spawn though, wasn't he? The idea made him grin a bit and then his smile spread when he heard the kid calling out to him, claiming he wouldn't hurt him. Obviously.
He shook his head then peered out from behind the tree with an innocent and somewhat uncertain look as he looked at Mischa, "Ahh... h-hello." He greeted the boy with the interesting looking pink antennae. He ducked back for a moment behind the tree again as though shyly before peeking out again and then slowly moved toward where Mischa was standing, "Hello... My name is Melan, what's yours?" He asked in a curious manner as he got a little closer to him. He was a cute one, wasn't he? Most certainly one of the spawn from that place, he could tell just by the look and scent of him, he was most certainly a mixed blood. Relatively Melan's size as well, the perfect sort of friend for sure.
"Are you exploring too?"

"It's a boy!!" Was the first words out of Mischa's mouth when the other poked his head out from behind the tree. It was from there a grin spread across his lips, and he came closer, tipping his goggles to the other in a rather flamboyant manner. Straightening back up, he took one more step closer
"Hello to you too! I'm Mischa, the Adventurer! I go around far and wide, looking for things that no one else have seen. Well, no, not things that no one else has seen, but things I myself have not seen. Things exciting, things new, things that might be dangerous, but awesome none the less!" Rambling? No, he wasn't rambling, That was his normal introduction. After a while, his speech would slow down, into something more serious, or atleast more understandable. His grin got a little wider, just as innocent as anything could ever be.
"Yes, I'm looking for something my big brother had seen a long time ago, when he was my age. Yes, something like an Epic battle had occurred here, supposedly. My brother wasn't part of it, but before that had taken place, there was a magical world that he went to, where he made fish friends!" He stopped talking for a moment, thinking for a moment. It did seem a bit far-fetched, didn't it? But that didn't mean he would stop looking for it.
"You're exploring too, right? You don't have any supplies, do you?" Mischa circled the boy once around, looking him over curiously.
"No back pack, no food, no nothing. You should atleast have cheese on you." Yes, cheese, the ultimate tool, in his mind. You could eat it, catch food with it, ward away scary things with it, distract people with it.
"Cheese is a necessity, atleast that's what my brother told me. When he was here, he said he made friends with this GIANT flying fish, and he fed it to him." After that was said, he went silent, blushing just a bit.
"I'm sorry, I'm rambling now, aren't I? I can't help it.. You can never find good exploring friends anywhere... So, I guess I was hoping you would join me to find this magical land of fish!"

He was a chatty one, wasn't he? He gave a bit of a smile as he listened to him talking, making him smile a bit. He was funny... an adventurer looking for things he'd never seen before, huh? Now that he could offer he thought to himself with a bit of a grin... and then his eyes went wide as he described the battle that had gone on here, something that had him looking around for a moment before he asked in a curious manner, "Your... big brother?" There had been three there that day, which of them was this ones big brother he found himself wondering, taking a step closer to him, curiosity showing on his face.
"Supplies?" He asked, looking at the bag that he was carrying with him before he gave a bit of a chuckle, "Well... I can get around fast so I normally don't bring things with me unless I need them for something." He explained, so that the other boy wouldn't be to worried about him. After all he was sure to be alright, only if he ran into a couple of specific people would he really be at any risk and the likelihood of them being in these woods was nil.
"A giant flying fish? Ohhh, yes. The Bubble Fish." He murmured, which of them had been feeding the giant fish again? He could only think of one of them that had really enjoyed himself, the others had been a little more suspicious of the trip, not nearly as willing to play with him he thought to himself which had been a shame, "No, no... not rambling. You just seem excited is all, its nice to hear." He reassured the half breed boy when he was suddenly apologizing for talking so much, not something that really bothered Melan terribly much at all.

"Mhm, my big brother Edes. He's really curly, with big pointed ears like this. And wings just like mine, 'cept bigger." He put his hands near his ears, the backs against his head, pointing outwards in a similar fashion to how Edes' stood out. "He also has pink eyes and is very sleepy, and always has this funny fish in a bubble with him."
His speech had become slower, and he smiled at the other at the mention that he didn't really need anything.
"You know of the fish? Perhaps someone you know was there too. I want to find the place... And bring back My brother's fishy friend a fishy friend of his own." His eyes turned down a bit, shuffling his feet around in the snow.
"It must be lonely, flying around in a simple bubble... You can't get hugs, you can't get snuggles, and you never can sleep with someone.. I want to make sure he doesn't get lonely when Cody and Edes get married. Or atleast find something of his homeland that he would really like, you know?" He shifted his back pack around again, trying to move it to a new angle, off of his wings.
"Would you like to help me find it..? It's so much more exciting than trying it alone."

Melan starred at him, eyes going a bit wide, "Oh? Is that so? Its been a while since I have seen him." He said, giving a bit of a grin, oh yes he remembered that day, that game, quite clearly. How angry the other two had been while he played with Edes, making one of the others so jealous... it had been great fun but sadly after that and aside from sending him a gift, he had lost touch. He hated out busy he could get some days, it made keeping friends a touch difficult.
"Know someone that was there? I suppose you could say that, in fact I know... three people who were there. Edes, Cody, and Pepper... they were all quite amusing and fun to play with." He said, grinning away and clapping his hands together in a rather pleased manner.
The young boy with the dark hair listened to what Melan was saying before giving a little nod, "I could see how it might be lonely to swim around like that but all the fish have their own bubbles when they travel out of the lake, it would be a bit harder for two of them to move one bubble, especially if they decide to go in directions at once... they normally end up popping their bubble and that ends up kind of..." Amusing as Hell he thought but ended with, "Sad, since they end up flopping around a bit while gathering the water back to themselves." So as not to upset his new playmate.
"Help you find it...?" He thought about it for a long moment, then gave a little grin, nodding his head, "We could do that, but the other gates in are far from this forest, a big demon shattered the gate that used to be here a lot time ago."

"Really!! Seriously, you know Edes and Cody?!" The excitement was so clear in his voice, and on his head, which the pink things were standing near straight ridged, and he got closer to the boy, grinning.
"Did you know they are getting married now? It's going to be so awesome! They are the sweetest couple I know! I wonder why he never mentioned you... Hmm..." He shook his head, still grinning at the other boy. Wow! How convenient was this! Granted... It was a little suspicious how he knew so much, but what did he know, everyone knows SOMETHING, right?
"You know.. I never thought about it like that.. I think it would be kinda funny, to see two bubbles trying to combine, like watching two kittens trying to talk on opposite sides of a piece of glass, adorable, but once the bubble burst, I think I would Freak out, and try to make sure that they were okay. " A small shiver ran down his spine, it was getting colder the more he stood around, so he offered his hand to the other, his smile never changing
"I'd be very happy if you led me to the gate! Sure.. It's broken, but atleast I can get a better picture of what happened. There's a history of there, that I want to know!"

Melan gave a bit of a smile when he was asked if he really knew those two, it seemed that this one was quite easy to make friends with, wasn't he? Nothing better then super friendly half breeds he thought to himself, "Getting married? Sweetest couple, huh? Interesting." It made sense, the one with the pink hair had been horribly jealous when he got closer to Edes, more so when he'd held hands with him. Given the way that one dressed though, always in longs sleeves, made him think that actually holding hands with him was the most terrible of sins if you asked the ones traveling with him. As such it only made it all that much more amusing that he'd gotten away with it even if only for a short time.
To think that they were getting married, that really was most interesting news he thought to himself before he filed the information away from later and decided to focus on this one instead of thinking of the one that he'd lost. Sure he could always go and meet with Edes, steal him away, but there was little fun in a playmate that didn't want to play anymore... likely he was all grown up as well, better to play with someone like this, someone more fun. He would have to perhaps drop in and say 'hello' to Edes though... and Cody as well if he were able to, he wondered if appearing before him would give that pink haired half breed a heart attack.
Reaching out Melan took hold of Mischa's hand, marveling how sweet he was despite being half demon... but the again if he had to guess lineage from his looks alone he knew easily why he was so sweet. His demonic nature wasn't one that harbored violence in the same manner as say a Wrath spawn might, "I can lead you there if you wish, its not much to see but if it would make you happy then I would be happy. Its what friends do, right?" He asked, sounding so sweet and innocent as he proclaimed them friends already despite having just met but Melan was all for having new friends wherever he could get them since a few of his friendships were a bit... rocky at best.

"Yeah! And after they get married, they'll have a cute little baby~ And I'll be an uncle! I'm super excited about that." He grinned, throughly proud of his sweet older brother. He deserved so much to be happy. Why? Well, all good people deserve to be happy!
"That would be awesome! We're not just friends, but Best friends now! And you can never have too many best friends! Granted.. You'd be my first best friend, so that makes you super extra special!" He easily laced his fingers with the other's, his tentenna wiggling in excitement and anticipation of the adventure that was close by!
The snow was slowly creating wet spots in his shoes. He wasn't used to standing still in it, choosing to hover over it instead. But that wouldn't be fair to Melan, now would it? He doubted the boy could fly. Well, maybe he could. He could be like SUPERMAN! Superman didn't need wings to fly!
"Um.." Should he risk asking? What if he was wrong, then the other would be so mad at him! Well, maybe not, but still.. Well, better to ask than not say anything at all.
"Hey, can you fly? Cause then we won't have to trek through the snow. But if you can't that's okay! We'll walk together. "

"A baby." He murmured, seeming to think about it for a moment before giving a smile, "That is an interesting thought, to have a baby." He wondered what it might be like, to have a baby. Likely like having any other pet he thought to himself, giving a bit of a grin as he stepped closer to Mischa, giving his friend a smile.
Melan tilted his head to one side as he was asked if he could fly, looking over his shoulder for a moment, then back to his friend and gave him a smile, "I can't... I'm sorry. Should I start running to where the gate is?" He asked, turning toward that direction in a thoughtful manner. He could just... bring them there he thought to himself. He seemed to be debating it, he wasn't one for popping around, at least not going from one place to a nearby place since it might very well be noticed... but then again... wouldn't that be nice? If he found himself a nice bird, or a nice bird found him, he would get a pet to replace the last one that had been stolen from him so long ago.
He looked over at Mischa in a thoughtful manner then gave his friend's hand a squeeze and then shook it playfully, "Wanna see a trick?" He asked, giving a grin.

"It is... I really want to have a baby someday~ But I'm just a baby myself, according to my dad, so that won't happen any time soon. Still, I'm excited to be an uncle! Maybe he'll be an adventure like me~" Something akin to a sparkle get in to his eyes, and he couldn't help but grin wider than he had before.
"No need to run~ We're in no hurry, besides, if we run, then we would bother the animals and such that live here. Flying is amazing.. When I get strong enough, maybe I can fly with you~ You know, I could carry you."
A trick? Really? In the middle of nowhere? That was a little weird but... Why not?
"I love tricks~ Sure!"

"Oh?" He asked, so Mischa wanted to have one a baby someday, did he? He wondered idly what it was that caused people to want to have kids... it was something lost on him, sure he liked to make friends, had some followers, had some pets, but kids... it was a strange idea. He couldn't picture himself taking care of a child though the idea of people carrying them around had always fascinated him. He would need to pop in one Edes one day when he was with child.
Melan perked up at the mention that he was going to fly with im when he was strong enough, "Really? You would carry me?" He asked in a curious manner, looking at his friend with wide eyes full of surprised and then that surprised turned into delight, "Really! That would be fun!" He chirped, then looked in the direction that they were heading, to where the gate had once been.
"Alright, for this trick to work you just have to hold onto my hands tight." He said, lacing their fingers together... there was the slightest tremble of energy around them and suddenly they were somewhere else, a distance from where they had started out, back at the beginning of the demon's trail. It was a peaceful place despite the shattered trees. They had fallen down some time ago and other plants had grown over them, one tree growing up between the trunks, new life in place of what had been destroyed.
"Ta-dah!" He said, giving his friend a smile before he let go of Mischa's hands and walked over to the broken trees, "Its a shame... shame. Did you know the place that was through the portal was neutral grounds? A place where the Demons and Angels could meet up to discuss things. It was quite amazing to behold... from what I hear."

Now this was truly unexpected! Teleportation? Was this really even possible? Apparently so, since they now stood in a slight clearing, where there was trees that looked like a piece was near bitten right out of them.
"THAT WAS AWESOME!!" He was all but spazzing, giving Melan a tight squeeze before zipping around the area examining all of the scenery, trying to understand further just what exactly had taken place here so long ago. His hand gently traced the moss covered tree, where there was obvious proof that it had shattered by something be shoved right through it.
"Something Neutrual..? Sounds like a wonderful place.. Somewhere perfect for me.." Mischa wasn't one to get sad, but just thinking about the world around him made his heart ache... It was such a dangerous place, the world he lived in... "I kinda wish.. I could go there.. Somewhere safe.. If angels and Demons could meet there in peace.. Maybe people like me belong there.. "
His voice was soft, sad, and his tentacles dangled limply near his ears.. Such and ideal place was so far away..
