It was early in the afternoon and the sun was shining brightly. A beautiful angeni was walking along a field of flowers. Rajni enjoyed her little trips to the “common lands” as she would call it and enjoyed the company of young attractive stallions. Though she had not found love and nor had she searched in the past she couldn’t help but feel lonely lately. She was someone who desired a stallion that would pamper her.
She stopped and sighed, she decided to stop for a rest. She lowered herself to the ground and gave a small yawn. She had been walking for hours and she didn’t have any desire to fly in this state she was in.

Erynion was rolled onto his back, as per usual, plafully swatting the butterflies that flew past. He never hit them, of course, they were too fast and he was too kind to hurt his fellow butterflies. He closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling of the sunshine on his face. In the quiet, he heard everything, including the hoof fall of someone behind him. He rolled over and eyed her. Wings, but feathery.
He was about to roll back over when he saw where she sat. A garden of flowers butterflies were particularly fond of was now flat underneath her. He stood up and trotted over to her, looking down.
"Do you just sit anywhere you like without looking? If you get up now I may be able to save them."

A voice stirred her peace and her eyes slanted. Who was telling her to do what now? Turned her head slightly to look at a flutter stallion, she huffed. Though he was rather beautiful she couldn’t help but notice he didn’t have many manners to know to respect her.
“Excuse me?” her voice was stern.

Ery snorted and stomped around on the spot. He nudged the mare, rather childishly and frowned at her. "You've sat your rump right on a bunch of flowers I planted for the butterflies to sit on. Not. You."
Erynion's frowned deepened. It took a lot to frustrate him normally, unless his butterflies were concerned. In this case, they were and he was NOT happy. The mare seemed to completely disregard everyone but herself. Where did she get off?
"There's plenty of other areas for you to sit. So.. Just move."

The more he talked the more she disliked him. Her eyes slanted in a glare and she rolled off the flowers but she didn’t mind the last press down on one with her hoof. She snorted at him and found her patience running thin with this one. As she got up she stood in a rather intimidating posture and her head was held high.
“How dare you speak to me with such disrespect!” she sternly said.

Ery returned her glare and inwardly flinched when she stomped on the flowers. Oh dear, the butterflies were not going to like this one bit. It would take at least two weeks to get those flowers back.
"Respect is something earned, not given!" He tittered her away and bent down to the ground, inspecting the flowers. "You've completely ruined my work and their home. That is nothing something someone deserving of respect would do."
He trotted back to the area he was sitting in first and grabbed a pouch full of seeds. Plopping down on the ground again, he began to furiously dig holes, spraying dirt everywhere.
"Since this is your fault, the least you could do is fill up the watering can behind you."
Erynion went back to his digging, regardless of the mare.
