Welcome welcome I think it's about time we got down to the beginning of each of our stories. what brought us here, why faeries, what brought you to believing in the fae?
For me it was my dad. As far back as I can remember he used to read me stories and books about the fae. He tought me so much when I was younger and told me that they kissed me each night and kissed me good morning and that there were faeries who would tie my hair in knots while I was sleeping, there was a function for every single one of them. As I got older and too old for him to keep reading me stories before bed I never lost my interest and curiosity for them. He'd told me about them as if they were real and living and breathing soi naturally I'd believed in them. It wasn't until I whole heartedly believed in them that I started to get little visits. I'd leave them presents and gifts and I chant little prayers for them and wish them well every night. I met my friend who I call Kay about that time. since then I've practacly read anything I can get my hands on about them and met so many other fae and friends and it's just hard to believe that my life could have missed this if I hadn't loved the stories about fae when I was young.

My reason and story for why I believe in love in the fae is because I once was fae! It is a really long and sad story, and I believe I posted it somewhere in the forums in here. To make things short my name is Eolsmi Girthiw Blueheart. I once was a queen from a land called Cavonia in Faerie World. I was betrayed by someone I trusted and exiled for a crime I didn't do. I lost the love of my life, and now I have to spend eternity as a human. Luckily I didn't drink the last drop of a special potion that would wipe away all my memories. Anyways I just always had the heart and passion for faeries and the belief in them. Even when I was a little human girl...I always felt the presence of faeries around myself. I called them my friends and guardians. I am still friends with these fae because I believe in past life I was truly friends with them, and now they watch over me. None of my human family truly believes in faeries, so I know I didn't get the love of the fae from them.
In the language of Cavonia known as Cavonian there is a saying we live by. We live by this saying because we are a land of elements and the connections between them. "Tsra Gya Maki" meaning..."we are one." Also it means that we stick by one another no matter what, and if we believe in ourselves and in our friends we can accomplish anything. The fae have been with me my whole life...and this why I believe in them!

My love for faeries started out when I was little. My sister would tell me that the bubbles we would blow together contained faeires, and when they popped, the bubble would release the faeries back into the world. I guess, even though she was just making it up, I always knew they really did exist. I could just feel it. I even had a faery follow me around when I was younger. She was only with me for a few months but her being there made me feel safer. Only recently have I gotten back into believing and sensing them. Every now and then, out of the corner of my eye, I can see one.
