Warning this entry does not count. Judges please skip this entry. I stand alone on a boat, Looking out into the vast sea Imaging tidal waves coming to ruin my small boat As my boat begins to tilt unsurely beneath my weight My eyes widen as seas begin to rage around I feel arms engulp my form from behind Closing my eyes to bask in the warmth Blue orbs open to see the sea to an odd calm A sharp turn of the head to look at who is behind me Changes the scene, now within a forest, no one around The green enviornment giving off an enchanted feeling After wondering aimlessly for hours Paranoia crawling up my being The rain begins, thunder soon following My clothes soon wet, lost in despair of being lost I curl up next to a tree, the rain and tears merging as one The rain stopped soaking me, although it still poured Looking up to see an umbrella over my head, a hand extended behind. An angelic voice tells me to calm down, to not be afraid of what laid ahead. I turn my head slowly to catch a fleeting glance Black hair, fair skin and soft tone... 'I should have realized it!' I thought, having an epifany. "Thats kevin" i whispered out, a small smile gracing my lips. And in that instant i remembered, Im not alone. Title: Comfort, friendship and care. Who is the poem about: My best friend kevin. Did you like the theme: It was nice, but i kinda liked the last one a bit more. Extra comments: Its about my best friend kevin, who had been my friend since 2nd grade. And we're almost going to college~ Its a long time to say the least. The raging waters in the poem represents things ive had life throw problems at me and he has always been there to help me through them. The raining forest represents times ive been emotional, and i feel like i just can't anymore, he had been there to encourage me and pick me up again. That representing the figure holding an umbrella over my head, saying comforting things and whatnot.
Well i hope people like it, and if not i had fun writting it. Made me think if good ol' times back in grade school =3 and beyond till present time. X

Laughing randomly at nothing at all Singing loudly along with the radio Stalking all the cute boys Closer than sisters. Staying up late just to gossip Watching scary movies until dawn Giggling at the nasty parts Leaning on each others shoulders. Falling in love Crying together in hard times Silly promises Random moments Best friends until the end. Everything in common All the same stuff Pretty much twins Me and my best friend, Together till the end. Nothing can come between My best friend and me. Title: My Best Friend And Me Who is this poem about: My best friend Natalie Extra Comments: Me and Nat might as well be sisters. We love all the same things and have so much in common. We talk at the same time and trip over flat surfaces, I love her to death!
Poetry is not something I'm good at but I like to at least try. ^.^ Gotta write poetry for school anyway.

Cry for me sweet tears of bitter love As I break the neck of the dove Because there's nothing better than your pain When you're the one driving me insane I long for vengeance and yet I don't strike Even with these visions of your head on a pike Should I rip your lungs out and eat your flesh But you're not even worth all that mess Cry out for me how much you cared Though both of us know you only glared For you hated me as much as I hated life In fact you were the one who handed me a knife You got tired of my lack of happiness And seeing me only brought you sadness Is that why you smiled in my arms as you died Could that be why in your last breath you finally sighed That you loved me and that you would forever The day that you left me in the cold snow of December Why did you fight me and why pull the trigger How could you leave me in a world so bitter I hate you for making me take that gun from you For laying in the snow and making me watch your face turn blue Don't you see in your death what you've done to me How you've caused me so much instability I loved you but we were meant to be Because I was your guard and you were Ms.Popularity Protecting you when he threatened to kill you Holding you as you cried because you loved me too Even as boyish as I was though no one would accept it And to save your reputation you couldn't be a lesbian So you pretended to hate me and told your friends Who all hurt and made fun of me for my loyalty never bends You let them hurt me but I didn't care As long as you were happy and I was there To help you when you fell and hold you high But that snow falling night you just said good bye And even though you didn't commit suicide You made me do the worst thing possible in my mind I hurt you in a way I can't ever reverse Hardly able to believe it till I saw the hearse I loved you so truly even if it wasn't meant to be So on your grave I leave a rose for all to see Its the last one I'll ever leave for you though Because now I am seventeen years old Its been years since I've killed you in snow And for you I promise this time I'll really let go
Title: Remembrance of Her Who This Is About: ...The second love of my life... Extra Comments: She was the only person who helped me make sense of life after my first boyfriend died, & she helped me get back up on my feet. However... shortly after she committed suicide & I never got to tell her how much I loved her & appreciated her being there for me... I miss her still, even after all these years...X

In this world, I need no one. No one but myself to hold. If I show my emotions...if I let them flow... I know that I will fall.
These things such as friends.. I have none. These people who you say I love... I have many.
Though I've known him for years... It seems as though its been a day... Possibly because we live so differently... Or maybe because we are similar.
Friends is what others call us...though I must disagree. We are only allies fighting towards the same goal... We who have lost the battle step forth... To win the war.
Friends we are...and friends we aren't... In this world, it does not matter... For as long as we live... A bond is shared.
--------
Title: Allies Who is the poem about: My friend/ally, Houston. Did you like the theme: It's something new I haven't done, Extra Comments: We really are like allies in real life. We're more similar than different, but we give eachother space to do our things.

I love that he cuddles I love that he snuggles You know he's coming He calls from the hall That's my fat cat.
One day he starts to stumbles Now he only mumbles He can not eat Not one bight of meat I fear that my fat cat is sick
We take him to the vet This on he's never met She takes him nice and clam His life is almost gone Good bye my fat cat Title: My Fat Cat (an elegy) Who is the poem about: My (now dead) cat buster Did you like the theme: I guess... it was a little difficult Extra Comment: I know i wont win but i felt like entering something xD

she and i are one equally teacher and pupil i learn to spin, she learns to stumble we dance as one beautiful and immortal the dance floor is not to be trusted it bends and shifts and sometimes there is barely any floor to stand on her dress is ripped and my glass slippers have crumbled the rain has worn our makeup away bystanders laugh at our clumsy dance but it doesn't matter, because we are still dancing i am no longer dainty, but calloused. extravagant gowns never helped you run anyway and we both agree that powdery masks are for the weak I teach her how to stumble, she teaches me how to spin. beautiful and immortal we dance as one an impenetrable force.
Title surprised ur dance Who is the poem about:to be heartbreakingly honest, this isn't really about anyone in particuar. it's just my view of an ideal friendship.these two can count on nothing and no one but each other, so they dance, and keep dancing. Did you like the theme:it challenged me. not bad, could have been better. Extra Comments: btw, i have nothing against femininity, but in this poem i am referring to an ignorant sort of bliss.

All unique With their personalities They spin around Happy as can be Not caring who sees It's just their own little world They accomplish their goals Without the slightest of errors They are my friends The ones who brought out The best in me They're short, and tall Skinny, and pudgy But I love them all the same They are my sunshine My candle in the night But either way they are my friends The ones who took me out of this blight Saved me And took me to this light
Title: Best Friends Who is the poem about: The poem is about m friends who have helped me through some times of depression, back when I was younger, and who have stayed by my side, even when I wasn't at my best. Did you like the theme: Sure I don't really mind what it is, I can think of alo of stuff to write about. Extra comment: I like the end of this better than the beginning, plus I'm tired, and lazy with it so yeah.

I Am so tired Of the negativity
I don’t want to hear it I don’t want to see it I don’t want to participate in it, either
I want none
Even if it means no one
Even if it means you aren’t who I thought you were And I’m not who you thought I was And we are not meant to be so close
Even if it means that you Are like everyone else I’ve ever left behind
And I Am just like everyone who’s ever left you behind
Sometimes It’s best to just say goodbye
It’s best to learn, and live Or wallow, and die
At least, that’s the way the world would tell it
Title: Fri-END-ship Who is the poem about: more than one person (or used-to-be-buddy)... Did you like the theme: not at first, but i suppose it got me thinking about something that inspired me to actually write for once. Extra Comments: they say people will hurt you, and friends are just the folks worth hurting for... there aren't many people in my mind worth hurting for. basically.

Silhouettes pass me by silhouettes make you cry. They are empty with no glow i guess you could say that are shadows. I feel so lonely in this world and here by myself in the cold. But there is one other out there with skin so warm and tender. Your presence touches me and my empty nightmare flees. The silhouettes gain their color back and within minutes they are no longer black. The sky has brightened with your smile and the new and brightened colors fit your style. I'll follow you and watch you closely so please do not abandon me. You are what lights my path and helps me escape from the real worlds wrath. As long as i can hear your voice i will make the better choice.
Title: My Guide Who Is The Poem About: My best friend 4 life! Jackie-chan! (its actually Jacquel but i call her Jackie-chan lol) She always makes sure that I was doing the right thing and not blowing it. Did You Like The Theme: LOVED IT! but im not really a big fan of poetry.... Extra Comment: It felt greatto write something about my friend and share it. but i felt like i could have done better if it wasn't poetry.
