__The world does eat money after all... I work at a records shop. Playing gigs with my band doesn't exactly pay well...
__Is it true that blood is thicker than wine? I would think beer is thicker and cheaper than both. I mostly cut ties with my family once I went to college. I am the spawn of my mother and father, but we're not that close.

__Get to know me, will ya?I like to smile and I am a big dreamer. Those are the basics. If you really wanna know me you should know that I'm always up to partake in a movement...as long as the movement is headed in the right direction. Sarcasm is my weapon. I put it to good use daily. I have a habit of smoking, especially when I'm anxious. Everything about music is so appealing to me. It's the one thing that will stick and evolve with humans in this hyped up life. My heart is big, and accepting...But that's not always a good thing, according to my past girlfriends. I guess I'm a bit of a player...whoops.
I'm usually pretty mellow, but I have a short fuse, and when I'm pissed I am the fury of hell.
I love to learn, and I'm very observant, but I'm by no means quiet. Life is short, and I'm running closer to my expiration day each hour, so why would I waste it?

__How I came to be... I grew up far away from the city, and grew older as robots rapidly evolved. My parents always told me to be open-minded but were terrified of the development of these mechanical citizens. They thought robots would take over and replace humans...
So with their fear implanted in my mind I was an arrogant teenager that sneered at robots, thinking that they were a nuisance.

However, when I was accepted into Julliard and spent all my time in the city I learned that discriminatory mind-sets were useless. During my 20 years of life, even then, Robots were so human-like that I couldn't even tell that my best-friend was a robot until he told me. We went to school together, me studying music, and he studying liberal arts. One seemingly normal day we were walking to the college when he was attacked. A gang of ignoramuses beat him, and smothered him. Of course I fought against them, but there were so many....and my best bud died.

I now still live in NYC, even after graduating. I continue to make music, and continue to smile with friends. I continue to live with the dark memory of witnessing an innocent man die.

__It's the inside that counts, right? Robot, possibly half-human, but I can't do anything about it.
__At a glance you'd see... I‘m obviously not human…I mean, there‘s a completely exposed metallic panel near my shoulder, so…People know what I am when they see me. You can also instantly tell that I‘m usually a very happy person.
__When you dig deeper you'll understand..I‘m not entirely robotic, and I really do wish I wasn‘t one at all.
__If the shooting stars would listen, I'd wish for... For this damned panel on my arm to disappear…I don’t want to wish for something too impossible, but if there was one wish I could have come true, it’d be to look as human as possible.
__Let's look at my inspiration in life....I.. don’t exactly have any role models, but I suppose any opposed to this discrimination…I apologize, reading up on human history might be a good idea.

__I despise When someone recognizes me as a robot…They go into their own overdrive if they don‘t like “Things like me” and I can’t put a say on just how angry it makes me. This whole thing on us not being human…This discrimination makes me mad.

__Get to know me, will ya? I’m always happy, and really friendly. Sometimes my mind’s elsewhere, and I act just a bit hyper. I have nothing against anyone, or anything, and I’m only ever in a bad mood when someone has something against me. I’ve heard line after line of discrimination and injustice just because I’m a robot. There tons more like me, and we’re not any different than you! Someone close to you could be robotic, and you just don’t notice. I really think I should start studying more ’human’ topics, I want to know more about their history and be as human as I can.
__How I came to be... I was ‘adopted‘ by my ‘parents‘ a few years ago. When I was a kid, I’d always get picked on and laughed at by others, and even parents joined in. I hate being different, and with I could just wake up one day to be fully human. Then, I wouldn’t have any of this to worry about.
I‘m somewhere around fifteen now, and due to certain complications, I left to live here. The place where I used to live was becoming very violent towards ‘my kind‘ and there‘ve been quite a few riots…it was safer to leave, and now my parents told me to try and stay mostly unnoticed. They worry too much, and say that they want me to be careful because I don’t know who could be against us or not, and I could get hurt. I doubt I‘m in any real danger, but I‘ve been known to be quite the naïve one and know sometimes I‘m just not being smart.
I don’t have a last name, or middle for that fact, simply because my parents couldn’t think up a middle name, and because I didn’t want to be too complicated. I didn’t exactly want them getting in trouble for my sake, so I didn’t want to take their last name when I’d left. There sure is a lot of precautions I have to take just to keep off the radar…I’m not sure why you humans are so set on getting rid of us.
