Personality: Ryuu is a so called flamboyant young man with a strong passion for research. Unlike many scientists he will spend hours in his laboratory studying several things and attempting to create new inventions.
Biography: Dieing from Cancer at the age of 29, Ryuu searched through the Soul Society attempting to find several hobbies that were worth his time. Once Ryuu discovered the Soul Society's definition of science he spent countless hours studying several tactics and medicines. Not much more is known about Ryuu other than that he devotes most of his time towards his research.

Cosmetic Affect: Petals
Ryuu's cane slowly dissolves taking the form of about ten slightly small petals that begin to circle is body. The pedals are extremely difficult to burn or break, but it can be done. This makes them as hard as steel.
Performance Affect: Ryuu obtains the ability to swiftly control the pedals and shoot them at his opponents. Once the pedals are shot at bullet like speed they obtain a highly concentrated area of pressure circling the petals that has a 1 inch radius.
Shikai Attacks:
1: Blood Cell Regeneration: Ryuu triples the amount of blood cells in his body allowing him to spit out a small amount of blood and convert it into more petals. This skill has a cool down of 1 post and Ryuu can only control a maximum of 20 petals at once.
2: Perception Influence: Using a keen sense of sight, Ryuu pinpoints his petals towards one opponent causing all pedals to head towards that opponent for three seconds. This skill has a cool down of 2 posts.
3: Blood Cell Protection: For 10 seconds Ryuu doubles the protective influence of the petals and causes a red rose to form around him, shielding him from most attacks except for underground tactics. This skill has a cool down of 4.

Cosmetic Affect: Half of Ryuu's petals launch themselves deep into the ground while the other half revert back into blood. The petals underground bind together to form six long vines with several needles around them. The needles are approximately two inches apart from each other.
Performance Affect: Just like his Shikai, Ryuu gains the ability to control the vines at will.
Bankai Attacks:
1: Killing Poison: With a flick of his fingers, Ryuu causes the vines to begin to produce a small amount of poison located on the end of each needle. Since there is a small amount of poison on each needle, the poison is not deadly unless the target is inflicted by a large amount of needles. Once the opponent is inflicted with the poison, they will get damaged with affliction damage over time. This skill can only be used once per battle. The poison can be removed from the needles.
