I just noticed we don't have a forum dedicated to Black History Month.
This thread will be dedicated to Dr. Martin Luther King and his Dream!
What's yours?
Start it like so, I HAVE A DREAM...
that violent crimes here on earth would come to a halt. That we, in America, could stop all the lies, cheating, and wars. That the world would unite as one and help each other as a union. That world hunger would be no issue. That mothers don't have to worry about their children. That children would be the first priority in the world. That they would get a good education. That parents would learn to love rather than discipline. That the world would be at peace. I have a dream for all that... and so much more.

I HAVE A DREAM...
that most people on Earth will learn that they themselves are stupid. Even if you yourself deny this simple fact, it is true. This "DREAM" that I speak of shall become a reality, though there are no such things as dreams. I have never dreamed, for there is no such thing, but even so, now I myself DREAM. I dream that the people of this Earth will learn to set aside their differences in order to view one important thing. Love. Love that is but a word that can be torn apart and eaten like a burrito. Love is just a word, but Hate is not. Hate is something that can be seen all around. Unlike love, hate is seen everywhere no matter what. Every second, of every day, everyone hates. If we, the people, we to ignore the hate...then maybe we would be able to get past our insecurities...I have a dream....that the people on this planet will be able to realize this...before the end of all...

I have a dream...
That people will recognize their mistakes, including myself. That instead of denying all that we have done wrong, we could simply admit it, but not just admit it, but have other people accept it. When something is to terribly wrong, such as murder, that person would work to atone it, instead of repeating that mistake. People will think before they act or speak, thus communication can be made.
I have another dream to become art itself

I have a dream...
that all peoples could realize that war is an essential part of human life. Humans are cruel, dark beings who adore carnage and gore, beings who cannot help but destroy whatever lies in their path. We destroy forests, we create noxious fumes, we break each others hearts. What do you see on the television these days? Only dismay and broken homes. Each day, hundreds of people kill other people, and everyone else acts as if it's the most horrifying thing, when it's all humans have done since our race was young.
Peace on earth, good-will towards our fellow man, and tolerance for that which we don't understand are all good sentiments. Those who attain them should be idolized and imitated. However, attaining these beautiful ideals must be something that many don't understand, as they are such rare and unused qualities.
It makes me sick when people preach straight morals and turn around and break their words. Everyday, it happens, and is denied. None seem to care if they are hypocrites, and yet they act as if it is the greatest horror ever when others do not live up to their own words. A great many people don't even understand, they don't even really know! Hatred, Love, Peace, Destruction, War, Anger, Tolerance, Morals. Words. Only words. People around the world put meaning to them, though in all truth, they mean nothing. It is a completely meaningless to believe that the peoples of earth will understand that anytime soon.
I have dream, though, that someday, somehow, there will be a way for people to find a singular common ideal to unite on, even if that idea is one which is harsh and lethal for particular groups.

I HAVE A DREAM...
That the world will wake up and realize whats going on. That people look down at their own hands, to look at their wrong doings to feel remorse. Instead of closing our eyes and giving our backs, ignoring what we know is true. Ignoring what is happening. For guilt seems like the last encouragement of humans. Kindness was replaced with greed. Good will was replaced with malice. Love replaced by hate. We humans are destorying this world. Our eyes open, but we never truely see. We walk around, the blind leading the blind. Following orders and ideals of another human. We humans are all flawed. But change only begins as we acknowledge them, as we take action to amend, to repair.
I have a dream... that is for people to truely open their eyes to the world around them...before its too late.
