In the meadows, snow had fallen and blanketed the entire pastures. Without a doubt, the small stallion had known that winter had fallen into a cold, peaceful silence about him.
His bright eyes scanned the snow covered land around him, searching. Torrin was sure that his mate was in the area..though it probably didn't help that the larger stallion managed to blend in rather well to the snow covered land.
Pausing in his walk, Torrin flicked his ears. Listening hard for any sign of his mate or another who may have seen him.

 The blue mare takes a few steps into the cool snow, hair eyes peering around and looking for others to stray away from. She wasn't in the mood to speak to anyone today. She hasn't been able to go near the ocean since the freeze, and this was causing her to be quiet angry. A loud snort blew from her snout and she snarled to herself and trotted forward when she saw no one near by.
She doesn't know that she's walking strait to where the stallion is...

Torrin paused in his movement as the sound of another body moving reached his ears. Peering intently forward, Torrin pricked his ears. Perhaps it was his mate, Gaspard. "Gaspard, love is that you?" Torrin called out loudly. His heart beating with the hope that it was.
Resuming his movement forward. Torrin went to investigate. His eyes alight with love fore his mate. Sure that the movement was the larger stallion.

She has been walking for a while, getting more annoyed with each step and not paying as much attention anymore. Her tail is flicking with great intense agitation. But then she hears a voice call out, ears twitching out.
She finally notices someone near by and is about to turn away qickly and walk else where, but then she hears a voice call out. 'Gaspard? That is a male name is it not? Was I just referred to as a male?' Her eye twitches in anger... as she walks towards the voice. 'That mare better have a good reason for calling me her love.'
And she continues walking forward, before noticing that it wasn't a mare, it was a stallion that called out... A small look of confusion shows on her face before it disappears. 'She must have left.'

As the mare breaks through into the small clearing, Torrin is unable to stop the look of disappointment that crossed his face. The other was clearly not his mate. However Torrin gave a slight nod tot he mare. "Excuse me miss but have you seen a large white stallion around?"
Here Torrin shook his mane, sending the dark looks out of his eyes once more.As he allowed his gaze to take in the mare, she was rather pretty if he swung that way. But Gaspard was much more then pretty in his eyes.

She noticed this disappointment and let her own gaze turn into a small glare.The stallion looked too pretty to be a male. At least prettier than the ones she has seen. Something strange seemed about him as well, what was with those braids?
But once he spoke, she recognized the voice as being the same as earlier, and her glare grows into a big frown. "No, but I assume you mistook.. me for him? Him?" A look of disgust arose, giving no sign that itwould go away.

Torrin flicked his ears as he watched her quietly. At her question, he gave a slight nod. "Yes, I apologize for that. I had hoped that you were my mate, Gaspard" It had never crossed Torrin's mind that some may frown upon his choice.
"You see, I was hoping to take him to meet my family on the upcoming moon. "
Here Torrin arched his neck, continuing to scan the area even as his spoke.

Her disgust grew at this and she shook her head. "Why wold I care about your strange actions? It's enough that I was mistaken for your gay lover. "
This is the first time she has met someone like this, it's.. strange, and very gross to her. He had confirmed, two males were... lovers. She couldn't understand this and doesn't want to. Perhaps one day, but right now this was just making her shudder.

A slight frown marred Torrin's face at the mare's choice of words. However he looked past that. Torrin had been taught to see the good in everyone, so giving her a small grin he continued on. "So I take it, you have not seen him?"

Her eyes narrow as she lifts her head and stares. "No. And I'm glad that I haven't. I wouldn't want to see what yo two do..." She shudders now.

This time the frown remained on Torrin's face. His eyes narrowing slightly as he allowed the anger to enter them. What was wrong with this mare!?
"Excuse me?!" His tone was filled with the anger he felt. However he gave her a chance to explain herself..maybe he had misunderstood?

Her head shakes back and forth and she stares at him with cold eyes, looking him over with judgment she doesn't normally give unless she knew someone well.
"I don't understand how you can be attracted to someone the same sex as you. It disgusts me." She doesn't quiet care that she's acting like an ignorant Mare... bt she was in quite a foul mood right now. One that is just ozing out of her.
