It was a cool spring night. The blooms closed up, yet the lingering scent of the forest was brought through the plains through the night winds. A field of night flowers in bloom, the scent intoxicating, mingling with the forest scents for a truly exotic fare of smells. Through this soft and quiet field, footsteps could be heard. The moonlight shone through the night clouds, illuminating gold upon a dark background of black. A single figure walked through the night of the lands. His mind contemplating on the scents of the land.

 Semuan-Ya was feasting on a small animal. She felt the small crunch of bones, the reassuring gush in her mouth. The taste of it was divine. It was quite a sensual experience. Dropping the carcass, she lifted her head. There was someone near by...Stepping back into the shadows, she sniffed the air for some familiar scent.

He could pick up the scent of another one nearby as well. Like the scent she would pick up, it would be familiar, yet rather alien. Their Kirin parts the more familiar parts, yet he picked up a hint of something else as well with the Kirin. His eyes squinted slightly, trying to pick out where the other was. approaching the location of where the scent was.

Semuan-Ya felt the blood dripping down her fangs, but she stayed perfectly still. Something was nearby....She saw a glint of gold. Something...shiny. almost couldn't help herself, she moved forward eager to discover what it was.

The male looked around, sensing another female and that's when he saw her. A Kalona. A female Kalona. "Anyone here?"

"Yesssss." Semuan-Ya stepped out, assessing the male. She wondered, why he was so shiny? His scales looked like they were made of gold. Could she steal it? Was it...gold?

He tilted his head strangely at her. "Miss?" he asked, wondering about her stsre. He had that gut feeling, that strange yet irreplaceable feeling that she wasn't exactly in the best of intentions.

Her eyes narrowed into slits as she watched him, clearly entranced by the golden scales. "Yessss..." She sniffed appreciatively at him, remembering the ways of her old family and pushing those aside. "Whattssss makessss youssss shiny?"

"Food?" he asked curiously. "Or is there something else that you want?" he could sense something from her, was it greed? Jealousy? A mix of both perhaps?

"Gold." The one word, she could say clearly and without inflection, if she chose. The one word, she had practiced and practice to get right past her fangs. "Gold..." She approached him closer.

The male raised an eyebrow lightly. Curious and perplexed at the actions of this female. Gently, he let her approach, was it the scales she was after? "Are you looking for gold?"

She let out a low snarl as she got closer, "Youssss madessss offsss gold." He was metalic and shiny like gold. Could it be that he was truly made of gold or was he somehow armoured in it?

"No..." he replied in all honesty to her. "If i were made of gold, I'd be stiff and immobile." he continued to her. Looking at her with a curious look.
