Narrowed golden eyes stared down the small girl before him. Barely taller than Foramen, with brightly coloured hair and an outfit that looked more suited to a dress up party with all it's trailing sleeves and ribbons, she didn't look like much. Foramen wasn't fooled by her large, innocent brown eyes, or by the bunny in her arms. With that outfit she was either a corrupted senshi or a Negaverse agent (or the world's unluckiest cosplayer).

Foramen had been on patrol, continuing his hunt for starseeds or any of the people who'd managed to piss him off - Moonstone, Scheelite, Zinkenite, the doppelganger, the corrupt senshi with the bells. (Okay, that last one was completely for taunting purposes, not for any grudge.) He hadn't found of those people, but still, this girl was better than a youma or a completely uneventful patrol.

Twilight was falling around them. The first streetlights slowly sparked to life, reflected in the sky above as faint stars appeared one by one. The two powered warriors stood in the middle of playground, wide open space around and above them. It wasn't the usual concrete landscape Foramen was used to (alleys and rooftops), but he was confident that there were enough materials around for him to make use of with his attack.

"Should I ask for a name, or are we getting straight into this?" he asked the pink-haired girl.

"Moving into the main show, of course!" Serandite pointed out, a large grin on her face. She had moved past the mask of pretenses, of impersonating a senshi long ago-- Whether senshi chose to be fooled or not by her manner and appearance was another thing entirely. Simply because she looked a little less on the average scale of "badass"... Well, it didn't matter.

Hm.

A lower energy signature. Definitely not an eternal-- Serandite wasn't sure he was super either. Which left one option left. But Serandite wasn't about to declare him 'easy pickings,' because that line often left more regret than not.

"You guys never learn. Not in Elysion nor here on Earth. One lifetime wasn't enough, was it?" Serandite's leg swung towards Foramen in a kicking motion--- but she wasn't the only one. Following her was a much bigger plush foot doing the kicking, a black cape sharply turning with the large rabbit's angle. One wouldn't have termed Serandite a combat type. However, that was where the weapon played in-- making up for what the user lacked.

The girl's refusal to give a name earned only a shrug from Foramen. He'd look her up later in the mobile database. Young girl with a bunny - he was betting there was only one match for that.

He frowned at the reference to their past lives. "Is nothing secret anymore?" he grumbled, while easily dodging the girl's kick. He did wonder just what they were meant to have learned last lifetime that applied now. Despite the visit to his home star, he had no memories of that life. Was that an admission that the Negaverse was behind the dead civilization?

Unfortunately such thoughts were interrupted by a blunt hit to his knee. Foramen's right leg threatened to buckle. The redhead hissed, looking to Serandite's side to find his unseen attacker - the four foot stuffed ********, of course it moves," Foramen groaned. And he'd moved into its path when he ducked the girl's kick. Just his luck.

"I guess that explains why a teenager is toting a kid's toy around," he said archly, one eyebrow raised. "Meanwhile, sorry to say, I've no idea what lesson I should have learned last lifetime. I've always been bad with lessons and rules, though." He shrugged. "You can refresh my memory, or give it up as a lost cause. Either way."

As he spoke, he was debating at to which target he should take out first - the girl or the bunny. The girl was the controller, without her the bunny wouldn't do anything (or so he hoped). But the bunny packed a harder punch (or kick, as the case may be), and taking down the girl would be easier without the bunny around.

He was hoping the bunny couldn't move as fast as a senshi. He darted around to Serandite's either side, though admittedly his speed was hampered by the sore knee. He threw a punch at the girl's jaw - he didn't believe in going easy on girls, even the ones without scary youma arms.

Serandite didn't take the bait. Goaded into one too many confrontations over her weapon, her foolishness to participate in that discussion caused one too many escapades. She raised her chin, leaping upwards but too late-- the red head senshi's knuckles made contact with her jaw. Serandite winced sharply from the blunt pain, gritting her teeth together harshly.

Following his hit, Serandite's kimono clothed figure disappeared in a brief black haze to somewhere above Foramen, one heel raised in a drop-kick towards his figure below. From the side, the bunny's slow run headed towards Foramen, twigs and branches snapping under it's stuffed feet.

The feral grin that grew when his punch connected didn't last for long. In fact, it disappeared half a second after Serandite did. He swore. Of course the little girl would actually be high enough rank to teleport.

His gaze darted from side to side, not worried about the bunny for the moment as it was slower than expected. Foramen should have known better. As a teleporter himself, his favourite trick was to drop something from above. It had just never been himself, so he didn't think to look up.

The strike from above caught him on his shoulderblade as he was in the middle of turning. With a cry, he dropped to the ground. Not wanting to end up with a Negaverse agent on his back, he rolled to one side immediately. His upper back twinged in protest. Mindful that there was also a bunny somewhere, Foramen tried to stumble to his feet.

Serandite's heel met Foramen's shoulder in sweet satisfaction, her knees bent as she landed on the ground to keep herself from spraining an ankle. She quickly darted around to once again meet the senshi head on, reminding herself not to give the senshi any chances. Any opening-- any time to react.

That was the mantra running through her mind. Give the senshi no time. No time at all. No time to escape. No time to call for reinforcements. No time to do anything that would be hazardous to Serandite.

Before the senshi could fully stand, stumbling like he had two left feet, Serandite took the chance to ground her heel into his spine. Hard. A frown adorned her small face, brown eyes slanted towards the red-headed senshi. Her voice came out as she planned. Authoritative and framed with absolute conviction, teeth gritted against each other.

"Stand down."

"I'll have absolutely no qualms about ripping the starseed from you and making it painful. Trust me, you'd prefer the swift way." She emphasized, eyes ablaze, digging her heel even further. Senshi should just stand down. They never belonged here. They never would.

Eternal Sailor Scylla was heading in for patrol via her usual route. She was expected in fifteen minutes, at the most, for an early shift. Normally the senshi of the Kraken would be eating dinner this early in the evening, perhaps talking to her siblings, helping Lucas with his homework if he needed it. The blonde boy was not exactly top of his class, but then neither was Zora. Kayley, on the other hand, was learning to be a housewife like a champ. Jada didn't get how her little siblings didn't seem to manage the grades she had- none of them seemed to have the same drive to be #1 like she had. Well, except for Zora, who was determined to be the richest, best-equipped player on the Word of Warcraft servers.

Still, all of that aside, she was going to have to kick Ares later for assigning her the early patrol. It was convenient in the sense that at least she would be able to get almost a full night's sleep, right? But terribly inconvenient in the fact she'd had to beg off all of her familial responsibilities for the evening, pleading a terrible headache. She'd locked the doors, as was her habit, and turned off her cellular phone. Drawn all the curtains, and run a shower. While her family thought she was ensconced in a cave, she was out enjoying the early evening air. The Court could certainly curtail a social life-- not that many other members seemed to have one.

Scylla skipped over a few cracks in the sidewalk, before deliberately stomping on with a maliciousness that was stress-derived. Step on a crack, break your mother's back, wasn't that the old rhyme? She could hear people moving, and maybe voices, and then she felt it. There was the aura of a general nearby, and if she could sense the Negaverser, god knew they could probably feel her. It was like a beacon, along with a weaker sensation...

The senshi deviated from her path to grandmother's house, darting into the woods to find the Big Bad Wolf. Hopefully, she wouldn't be too late. (Who cared if she was mixing up fairy tales, anyway?)

All the breath rushed out of Foramen's lungs as the tiny General stamped on his spine. Hard. She was saying something, though he couldn't quite make it out between his desperate gasping for breath and the pounding thud of his heartbeat in his ears as air refused to come. The few moments seemed like forever. Foramen felt a little light-headed. His brain knew he was just winded, but instinct screamed bloody murder was about to take place because there was a giant seething Nega aura at his back.

Tiny General was still talking. Something about starseeds now? Foramen scowled through his gasps. He didn't like the Negaverse making off with any starseeds if he could have them instead. And the one he wanted most of all was quite definitely his own. Tiny General was going to have to be disappointed.

Oxygen finally returned, and Foramen wasted no time in gasping out, "Foramen... Rift... Slice."

He disappeared from under Serandite's foot. He reappeared ten metres or so away and tried to get to his feet. Pain flared down his spine. Foramen yelped and collapsed. "********," he hissed, wide eyes staring at Serandite with real fear. He was optimistic that the tiny girl hadn't done any permanent damage - nothing that senshi healing, time and slow movement couldn't fix. But time was something he didn't have, and there was no way the girl wasn't going to inflict more damage if he couldn't keep them seperated.

Foramen tried to run down in his head exactly how many times he could teleport one of them in the other direction. Given he was at less than 100% already, he didn't like his chances. "********!"

He really thought he was going to get away from the bunny-wielding General. What a joke. Serandite would be the joke if she let an injured sailor scout --- not super, not eternal--- slip through her fingers. Figuratively and literally, since she concluded that a stolen starseed over energy absorption would be more favorable in this case.

At this point, both of Serandite's hands grabbed the ears of her bunny, gripping it firmly. She spun once in a build-up of momentum to aim for Foramen's head neatly, intending to knock him our with the semi-large bunny. It had grown a bit smaller to accommodate Serandite's frame and abilities to throw the weapon.. but needless to say, large enough to make an impact.

All Serandite needed was another moment on the ground. She wouldnt waste time to snatch it than.

"HERE WE GOOOOOOOOO." Her echoes followed the bunny's raging warpath towards Foramen, it's eyes slanted and glowing red in an intimidating form. It's arms and legs were extended out, as if to pounce Foramen in the face.

Scylla was grateful she was used to running as she moved from a jog into a full-on sprint, her heels clicking on the concrete. Where... where... There! Her eyes caught on a flash of color, and it was the bunny she saw first. It was a bunny that had lifted her friend into the air, a bunny that had let the limp blonde body fall. And with the bunny had been... Serandite. General Serandite now, it seemed, judging by her aura.

She was going to kill her. She owed Serandite not one life, but three. Lisa Monroe, Vivian Rothson and her own. Everything had changed the night Serandite had decided to target three girls all on their own, a little over a year ago. Things had fallen apart, and the blind little heiress had been forced to open up her eyes and smell the double mocha latte, skinny, extra foam.

She flung herself forward, terribly glad that she was coming from the opposite direction of Foramen, the Eternal apparently taking little to no heed to the rabbit that was flying in the direction of Sailor Foramen-- oh, she recognized him-- instead focusing on the pink-haired General. "Scylla's HUNGER!" she yelled, and a limb wrapped itself loosely around Foramen's body at the last minute, hopefully in time to deflect the majority of the rabbit's blow. Behind Serandite, Scylla shared the bunny's rageface as she pulled back her fist, aiming one nasty blow in the pink-haired General's direction.

If the General didn't find a way to dodge her blow, Scylla would be almost embarrassed for her. Stealthy, she was not being.

Foramen thought this might be what doom looked like - a red-eyed bunny flying towards him. One arm raised, shaking as Foramen tried to prepare a rift to intercept it. The movement of his arm jarred his back and, with a spasm of muscles, the arm flopped back to the ground.

He had enough time to curse as the bunny sped closer. It was cut off as the stuffed animal slammed into his head. Not only was it the equivalent of a punch to the head, the arms and legs began hitting and kicking as soon as they landed.

"Argh," Foramen grunted in pain. His head was ringing from the blows. He fought against the pain in his back to try and raise his arms up to dislodge the bunny or protect himself from the blows.

Suddenly all movement was cut off. Panic set in as Foramen realised the new reason he couldn't move was that something was wrapped around him. He immediately assumed it to be another attack from the General... until he realised the bunny was no longer attacking. That seemed contrary to the idea of killing him, or doing the most damage possible.

Angling his head, Foramen looked up past Serandite. Vision blurring from the attacks, he could still make out a figure in blue. Short skirt, he thought, though there were some funny trailing bits that he couldn't be sure were real or just products of his spinning head. A senshi, it seemed, with dark, curly hair. That sounded kind of familiar, actually.

Foramen glanced down. The thing holding him in place - and protecting him from the bunny - was a giant tentacle.

"Scylla?" Foramen croaked out.
PostPosted: Sat Mar 19, 2011 4:06 am

The eternal power signature was impossible to miss. It was like a slow hammer coming up form behind, Serandite's heel kicked off to do a back flip above Scylla's head. Combat abilities, Serandite did not have in abundance. Flipping and jumping however-- One had to make up for their lack of combat abilities somehow.

Serandte jumped back a few steps, her eyes shadowing upon recognition of the black haired eternal and large tentacles. So it was Scylla after all-- Of course, the assumption had already been set in place when the tentacle took Foramen from Serandite's path. One hand reached upwards to rub her jaw, a souvenir that Foramen had left behind.

"Decided to join the party Scylla. How sweet. How was that party last year? Your friends make it home safe, with Ophelia leading you home? You've changed since." Serandite remarked, giving the Eternal a little wave. Her hand inched backwards.. Did she need to call her youma?

If necessary. Not that she couldn't handle it. Of course not. But she would need someone to help with those nasty tentacles. Her fingers twitched, the rabbit behind Scylla slowly standing back upright. It's paw lifted to rearrange the crooked hat. it headed to run towards Scylla.. and promptly ran into a tentacle.

The redheaded senshi was struggling against her tentacle, Scylla could feel it; the limb loosened around him to give room to breathe, though the little mouths still gnawed lightly over the shimmery uniform. On the other hand, the second limb that she had was weaving its way around the bunny rabbit, circling it loosely, a barrier, not anything to attack. It still seemed hesitant as to whether or not it was an enemy. Or was it that Scylla was too distracted by the pink-haired Negaverse General to be paying attention to the rest of the fight? The senshi's pretty face was contorted with a loathing that Ares would find enthralling, pure hate and rage marring every inch of it. She almost made a fool mistake, almost flung herself at the pinkhaired girl heedless of the situation, but training that was not her own had her pausing. Examine. What could be a potential weapon?

She could take off her shoe and use it to beat the pink bug to death. It was mildly disappointing that the General had so casually leaped out of the way, but that was okay. The senshi of the Kraken was nothing if not tenacious, given proper motive, and when the other woman chose to taunt her, it was incentive enough. "Decided to rain on your parade, rather." for all the fury that was so clear on her face, the voice slipping from between her lips was casual, as if the outcome was clear. "And you know very well how our last little party went." There was a pause. "I don't see the outcome as changing much. You trying to run away like a little dog, tail between your legs, but the main difference is... I won't be so confused that I let you escape me." Her heels clicked on the sidewalk as she moved forward. Keep moving, stay moving. She'd done enough of a monologue. General Serandite and her rabbit had been weighed and measured, and Scylla was just worried she'd overestimated. If she was lucky, Serandite would still think that Scylla's power was gross. It would give her an edge up, even if the Generals could teleport considerably more than their counterparts at the rank below.

She didn't know exactly what cards the pink-haired girl had up her voluminous sleeves, but her anger was giving the General several openings to exploit. Luckily the major one was being taken care of by the limb that had been bumped into. As the rabbit bumped against the tentacle it responded vigorously, treating it as it would any youma that had come in range. Prey. It started to try and twine around the rabbit, to grasp hungrily at it as an instinct, the sucker-mouths moving closer to the rabbit's outer surface to grip, to tear, to cling to it. All the better to tear it apart.
PostPosted: Sun Mar 20, 2011 12:25 pm

"Oh? I ran away? That's news to me." Serandite said, her eyes mockingly widening in surprise. Brown eyes stared pat Scylla at the bold tentacle, the fleshy object hovering around Loppy like a fly.

At Serandite's mental command, the bunny jumped to it's maximum size, about human size, one plush paw lifting to crush the tentacle under heavy stuffing. It's foot stepped somewhere in the middle, both paws grasping the wiggling end of the tentacle with a fierce grip.

Meanwhile, Serandite leaped forward to aim a stiff hand towards Scylla's neck, a flurry of kimono sleeves, yellow and ribbons moving with the General. Ophelia's target. If Serandite wanted to get back at Ophelia, all the better to rip Scylla's starseed out. Besides, a senshi with a bajillion tentacles was a heavy threat. The sooner she was eliminated, the better

It seemed the two girls knew each other already. That sounded like bad history to Foramen, as Scylla and Serandite insulted and postured. The tentacle around him loosened slightly, easing some of his own worry that he was going to be accidentally eaten. He shuddered at the feel of the those mouths still faintly moving, even if it no longer felt like they were about to eat through his uniform.

He managed to raise one arm, hissing and wincing all the while, and pushed down the part of Scylla's kraken blocking his view. Another tentacle and the bunny seemed to be facing off while the girls went at it. Scylla was looking rather different, he thought, taking in the wings that signified a senshi had reached Eternal status. It was a wonder he'd managed to recognise Scylla at all - apparently she'd left an impression, if only for bullying him into exchanging senshi phone details. At least his saviour was well equipped to take on a General, with her Eternal upgrade.

Though that didn't mean that Foramen was going to lie there and be rescued like some kind of damsel in distress. His raised arm pointed in the direction of the suddenly human-sized bunny. Teleporting the limbs off youma had proven to be a success. Serandite was moving too fast for him to finally try it out on a living person. But perhaps the bunny could serve as a substitute, engaged with the tentacle as it was.

"Foramen Rift, Slice," he grated out between clenched teeth. The corresponding slash of his arm drew a cry of pain from Foramen, but the attack went off. The rift was aiming to envelop one of the bunny's arms, then drop it a few feet away. He waited, breathless, to see if it would work or if the bunny would move too quickly to be caught...
