Tropiki was doing what he did best, trollin' for a**. Sure it was a really vulgar hobby to have, but hey, with having to cultivate himself followers and find himself a Queen he managed to find his way past many females. It also helped that he was a Bard, able to dance and sing at a moment's notice, which helped charm his behind some very lovely ladies. The only drawback was some of his one-night stands possibly finding each other and ganging up on him. It hadn't happened yet, but he was sure that it would happen one day.
Today he found himself in a real odd place. It was mountainous and the air was thinner than normal and tasted funny. He didn't like the funny taste. There was many lions that scented around as well. This must have been a pride of sorts, so he would have to step carefully.
"Tic tok, tic tok," Tropiki mused, watching as some needles from a tree fell in an odd pattern.

Bubu wasn't sure she liked the feeling of her cubs growing up. They couldn't be considered cubs now, really, she supposed, because all four of them were now quite handsome young men. She'd been left alone more often than not, now. Sadiki had left weeks before -- exactly where he'd gone off to, Bubu wasn't sure, but she didn't really like it. It wasn't the fact that he'd left that bothered her, no. It was the fact that she was alone, left to her own devices to entertain herself. Whenever that happened, well, the chatter of the things around her got bad.
Real bad.
"Shutupshutupshutup," she hissed to herself, slinking away from the central pride area. Everything was talking to her, the clouds, the trees, the snow, the leaves. It was enough to drive a cheetah crazy.
Or in Bubu's case, crazier.

The tic tock silence was brutally interrupted as the hissing of a very angry woman reached Tropiki's ears. They twitched cautiously as he listened for a voice, and when he no longer feared that he knew the woman he decided to investigate her. He cautiously made his way over, peaking at her from behind a tree and quirked his head curiously. She was a cheetah, a very pale cheetah, but beautiful nonetheless. She seemed so angry, and was yelling at something to shut up... He found another nutter didn't he?
"My, my, my," He chirped coyly as he came out from behind the tree, letting Bubu know he was existent, "What do we have here? Pure beauty before my eyes, I feel I may go blind..."

DEAR GODS. What on earth was that? Bubu quieted as she narrowed her eyes and caught sight of a rather vibrantly hued male slinking about through the trees. Giving him a dubious look (as Bubu had no use for flattery, in fact it was almost as if she didn't know what it was) she watched him for a moment. He was really bright, but he was pretty. Like a mixture of the sun and the grass and the sky. Speaking of which...
"Gods ABOVE why can't you just shut up for just a minute?! I can HARDLY hear myself think!!"

"Oh, well, I do apologize dear lady. I wasn't aware my voice was such a burden to your ears," Tropiki said, well aware of the fact she was not speaking to him, but feeling the need to answer her as if she had been anyway.
She was definitely an odd one, but that didn't bother him all that much. He grew up around odd and was odd himself, pretending to be a great prophet and passing about his odd belief systems that he didn't actually believe in. Oh he was so naughty sometimes.
"Thinking is much too overrated anyway, it's much easier to just go along with things and do without provocation." Tropiki said, slowly circling around the cheetess to get a good look at her. Her stomach was a little floppy, she had given birth before. She was a mommy, a crazy mommy, how cute. It was like a bad sonnet or something.

Oh, great. He was crazy. It was obvious that she hadn't been talking to him and now here he was, circling her like some sun-colored vulture. Sadiki had been able to leave this place, why hadn't she? Maybe she would! Maybe she would leave this place with all this dreadful snow and she'd go on her merry way!
But.. her babies.
With a wistful look over her shoulder she mused for a small second. They were nearly all grown up, four pretty sons. Leaving the nest. Bubu was sad.
"I don't like going along with things. There's... too much talking more often then not." Bubu grumped, turning her attention back to the male. The bright male. He was so pretty. And.. it was strange but... the voices had stopped. Bubu peered at the male, tail lashing. Coincidence? She doubted it. It was obvious that he was keeping the voices at bay. Bubu wasn't sure how but she wasn't about to question it.
"Then again, an adventure sounds fun."

"Oh? You like silence?" Tropiki asked, stopping in his tracks and tilting his head at the pastel cheetess. That was a new one. Someone actually wanting silence. Well if she was any indication, he could see why she wanted silence so badly. Fruit never fell too far from the tree, so he den must be the constant eruption of chatter.
"Adventures are always wonderful. I am constantly on path of adventure. Oh, did I not introduce myself, did I? I am Tropiki'baa, the traveling Bard." He said with a smile, dipping his head to her carefully.

Yes, yes. The talking had stopped. Ignoring him for the time being, Bubu tried to hear talking. She strained, squinting her eyes and peering with harsh pink eyes at the snow-capped mountain peaks in the distance.
Nothing. Blessed silence.
Widening her eyes, Bubu turned her attention back to the bright male. She'd never had this silence before. Never. It must be him, he must be the one who was doing it. The one who was keeping the voices at bay.
She would never leave his side.
"I am Bubu," she said softly, almost dazedly. "We should go on an adventure."
