A cool mist rolled across the ground as the pink eyed lioness let a yawn roll out of her jaw, it was far too early for her to be up however it seemed more or less a good day for her not so be able to sleep. Uneasiness lurked in Delila's body as if something in her usually cords vibrated in a disagreement with everything around her, it was unusual and it was unfair. She didn't know why, why she had been the one to receive what some considered a gift but the ability to being a seer was not her favorite aspect, especially when they lurked in her dreams. Giving a small stretch before leaving the warmth that lulled from the entrance of the den, Delila looked for small twinkling of dawn edging along the earth's edge.

Despite the sun just grazing over the peaks of the mountains edge, Jelani was in his usually spot. Every morning he greeted the day with the sun stretching across his face and the warmth sinking into his bones. In a way it made him feel more or less relaxed for the day but it wasn't to say that he was an old lion with creaking bones. It was more or less he was happy with a routine, or at least something that he could enjoy a little bit out of his entire day than worrying about what would come next in the pride. Shaking his mane out from its flattened sleep like state Jelani let the sleep leave his body.

She let her white paws sinking into the dew covered grass as she made way to one of the ridges that rested near the edge of their pride lands, Delila vaguely recognized the shape of the lion sitting there. He was royal though only from relations in distant past, not of the current Mfalme who of her knowledge had no living relatives in the pride. She was however curious to why he was out so early in the morning, was he having problems sleeping too? Her brows knotted, as far as she knew she was the only seer in the pride however most of her visions were small short and rested in her dreams and in way felt as if they were nightmares. Did he have visions as well? How did he deal with them? Several questions rose in her mind as she peered at him forgetting that she had yet to greet him.

Something wasn't right, Jelani though his eyes watching the sky, he could feel as if something was watching him, looking over his shoulder his realization that his feelings were correct startled him. He was not expecting to see anyone else let alone find someone just sitting and staring, he hoped that most of her thoughts were to the sun rising but it was still unnerving. Giving a small nod of his head and letting his deep voice resonate, "hello."

A scarlet blush seeped across the lioness's face as he noticed her behind him, she felt stupid. Adverting her stare to the ground where her paws rested she replied in her own meek voice, "hello…" She could not only the feel the horrible pit in her stomach from her dreams but now she had gone and made a fool of herself in front of someone. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to startle you I was just curious. I didn't expect to find anyone out here this morning." Shaking her head she looked back at him with a bit of a smile, "I'm Delila Zahra, Delila for short."

"Hello Lady Delila, I'm Osei Jelani'kamau, Jelani for short" Jelani automatically responded, greetings were a part of formality despite no matter how much you didn't feel like meeting or talking to someone else greeting them always seemed to be necessary. Shaking his head he gave her a bit of a reassuring smile, "your are fine I didn't expect to see anyone else here. Usually everyone is still in their dens while I'm out here enjoying the morning. What brings you out here Lady Delila? Its not just the rising of the sun is it?"

It felt odd to hear him tag her name with the formality of lady, given she had little status in royalty compared to him. Giving a small nod of her head, "It is a pleasure to meet you Sir Jelani, and no you are quite right I wasn't here for the sunrise more so I was here because I could no longer sleep." That in all was part truth, she didn't feel the need to tell him right away that it was because of her dreams that were haunting that she couldn't sleep. True she had assumed at first moment that he was a seer her like her however it seemed that it may not be the case. She honestly feared telling others about her dreams, the only person who knew was Fin. Not to say that Fin wasn't concerned she just didn't deal with things that she couldn't relate to well, she would say what she could to help but that was about as far as she could go. "You don't mind if I join you do you?" she replied with a smile before taking her place next to him as if she worried little about his reply.

Jelani wasn't one to pry her reasoning to be unable to sleep was not of his concern if she felt the need to say so than she would but if not then there was no point of him involving himself with her affairs. "Your more than welcome to join, I warn you though I am not a chatty person especially in the morning, so if your concerned with silence or feel the need to talk your better off looking someone else for company." He replied in a matter of fact tone with a nod to confirm his thoughts. He half hoped that she wouldn't come back it wasn't that he disliked her, he just liked his own time and at this moment she was invading his space and time.

"Thats fine." Delila replied nothing looking at him, her mind was elsewhere the dreams that followed her kept rolling around in her head as the sun slowly rose in the horizon.
