It wasn't the first...or the last time Sarias had bribed a gnome on stealing valuable information for only slight mutilation. It came in useful little waves, knowing the canteens menu in advance for example, Sarias knew on which days she would be vomiting. When a test was due she threatened them to get hold of the test subject so she can gain a head start on researching - although that had only worked once or twice on the more...idiotic teachers who kept their thoughts on paper rather than in their hollow minds.

And now it was working again. Sarias had taken it upon herself to be the...friendly face of the ghost dorms (Oh the irony!) and she felt in this there was a duty to welcome the new spirits to their temporary home for the next few years....and to judge the hell out of them while at it. Surly she will find a worthy few? She still hadn't welcomed the new ghost ghoul, Holly, but she would. Perfection does not rush itself and neither would Sarias.

Now Sarias was finding herself waiting for her..."source* to bring her the information she so greatly desired. Tapping a hand against a wall she waited down one of the more deserted halls in the ghost dorms. A familiar squeak and a few tugs of her skirt indicated he had arrived and without a seconds notice she folded around him, one hand reaching out for her prize the other wrapping round his neck.

"Give it to me breather....I said...GIVE IT!" Snatching the page from a terrified gnome she read the childish scripture imprinted on the paper. "Hmm, Inoue Seiji? Oh a jikininki! Haha we shall have some fun near the undeads then!" she pondered over her limited knowledge of his kind. She bunched her hands up and held them to her chest as she bounced slightly at the idea. "Good work you filthy waste of space, a deal is a deal, you get to have the rest of your quality life." She grinned till her stitches twisted to almost breaking point as she glared down at the small frame and with a kick born of hate (or boredom!) she pulled back and booted him across the hall, its small body hitting the wall with a thud.

"But I never said what sort! Haha they never read the small print, gets them every time." and with a twist she was walking towards the designated dorm room for Seiji. Lets hope he had more luck with Sarias than the little people.

Sarias stopped and grinned over her shoulder, delighted he was following and taking in what she said. He was pleasing to the eye, now at least his obidence was shining through as well.

“Very good question Seiji, I am glad your not just a pretty face” she noted as she pointed to the faint rune like marks decorating each wall and started to traced a hand over them. They were beautiful to behold, a dark putple in colour, almost glistening in the none-excistant light, they flared as she tooked them with a stray finger. They were hidden, barly noticable only activated when needed.

“These are seals, they are placed all around this dorm. Although I am not certain of the event that took place that warranted these they were added some years ago to stop the act of phasing through the walls and into other students dorms. You will find that your seal will allow you to fase through the walls ajoning you dorm and the hall and common rooms, but other droms are prohibited unless sanctified by the school it is strictly forbidden…but not….impossible”

She noted his look and with a last pat on the wall the seal dispeared back into the aging wallpaper. “Of course you can visit any friends, and I do hope you make a few.” She purred at him as her smile deepened . “During the school hours and before curfew you can be invited to the dorms of others, after then, well the seals are activated and lets just say you get more than a little shock.” Her raised eyebrows and smiling eyes may have brought questions to Seiji mind of what egcatley this meant but with a flourish oer her skirt she started to walk again, leading him to the direction of the common room.

The jikininki in question was in fact in his dorm that afternoon Putting the finishing touches on his unpacking. Yes, he'd told Junko the job was done, but that had been stretching the truth just a little. MOST of it had been unpacked and relatively set up, but he really hadn't wanted to stand the ghoul up, and certainly not on scarentines. There were nick-knacks and personal effects left to find places for, and he was currently working on doing just that.

While he hated packing, unpacking, and anything within the similar realm, he'd found that dragging his feet on the matter and procrastinating had been the absolute worst idea he'd had thus far that year. Even with Bul's help it had taken an unseemly amount of time.

With a bleary eyed yawn the ghost placed a scowling skull on top of his computer monitor then straightened the keyboard. There, finally done. For real with time. Every last box was empty, folded up and stacked in the hall for the gnomes to carry off. He was free, relatively. Sure he'd have to go sign up for some classes soon, but for now at least he was able to enjoy some down time and just decompress. Maybe he'd give the futikuchi-onna a call, see if she was busy.

That actually didn't sound like a bad idea. He and Junko had been flirting back and forth for a while on groanspring, but now that he'd actually met her he'd found he really did have a fondness for the ghoul. Not just her lovely legs, but the whole package, blushing shyness and all.

Fishing his phone from his back pocket he gave the social site a quick check, looking over the recent questions and answers before intending to leave one for J herself.

Walking towards the boils counterpart of the dorm rooms she waited a few seconds outside his door. She wasn't nervous, not by a long shot. But these first impressions were very, very important. She knew her own would dazzle and entice any new spirit, but it was his that she was more interested in. Would he be the acquaintance she had been so desperately looking for in these past mere months at the academy? Or would he let her down like ALL of them had. She thought over the others and shuddered. Well...anything would be better than the riff-raft she had met already.

Quickly preening herself with a nailed hand she pushed her hair from her face and smoothed down a failing smoke tendril. "Behave…" she muttered to her skirt, and they listened. They always listened. There had been too many...losses. Finding the door unlocked she felt more reluctant not to open it. That’s what locks were for of course and if you didn’t use them then it meant you were open for visitors….if he had any sense he would get acquainted with his and quick.

Pushing it gently open, trying her best to not make a sound she was greeted by organized mess. Unpacked boxes, suitcases, bits and pieces ready to find their new home and there in the middle was the jikininki she had never met but already knew so much about. Staring over at the boil, her presence unknown with his attention currently set on the phone, she watched his eyes reading in the information as fingers tapped away at some secretive message.

"Hmm...Not interrupting am I?" Sarias shouted out as she leaned against a wall, one hand resting on a jutted hip as she smiled deeply to him.

She looked him up and down, allowing herself to adjust to his every angle and curve, his large talon like hand giving her immense interest as she analysed him down to a Tee.

"Ha, you've seem settled already! I almost feel like I am not needed!" She laughed, slightly. She pushed the fake fondness into her tone as she spoke to him, neither allowing him to answer or ask questions back as walked around his room. Unfazed by her own over familiarity.

Completely engrossed in what he was typing out the jikininki failed to notice his door opening or the blue haired banshee that let herself in. Not until she all but shouted, startling bad enough that he fumbled his phone and had to juggle the thing to keep it from hitting the floor. Stuffing it roughly back into his pocket as he turned to glare at the ghoul now leaning against his wall. The glare cooled mildly when he realized he'd seen her before, but couldn't quite place where. Irritation morphing into something closer to curiosity.

Of course, almost as important a question as who, was why, and he allowed that thought to mull about the tip of his tongue as she carried on speaking. Why then got pushed towards the back burners if favor of more pressing concerns. "Needed for?" He prompted, brows raising as he watched her drift about his room.

While he waited for the answer to that or whatever else she felt like adding instead he made a quick study of her. Starting at the toes of gothic boots and gliding upward. Lingering perhaps a touch longer then was polite on her legs before roaming higher. Hey, she'd barged into his room. Another pause settled on her chest and he suddenly remembered why she seemed so familiar. Groanspring, her profile picture had at one point been a snap shot of pale cleavage. Well, that answered one question.

Vaguely he recalled that she had something of an abrasive personality and a certain Bogart had the hots for her. Neither of which would be brought up now. Instead, he let her move around his dorm as she pleased while he wandered over to take a seat on the arm of her easy chair, one leg drawing up so he could hook his clawed hand around it. Human fingers on the other hand tapped softly on his knee.

"Sarias, right?" He inquired idly, tone having drifted into something boarding between neutral and bored. Yes, some strange ghoul had just wandered into his room, but that wasn't any reason to get bent out of shape of excited.

She grinned over at him at the mention of her name. Oh she did enjoy it when the boils and ghouls knew her before she had to tell them, no matter the source of their knowledge. She took at stance at his bed and without a hint of an invite placed herself upon it, he legs swept to the right as her left arm supported her frame.

“You are indeed correct. My reputation precedes me…as does yours Jilkininki.” She liked mind games, she wanted him to question her, to be intrigued, to waver in her knowledge of him, so much known…well sort off. Limited was the information on the paper she now had stuffed down her corset top, but it was enough. Enough to get a picture of him in her mind. “Don’t disappoint me.”

She flicked her hair back allowing it to cascade off her shoulders and on to his bed. She titled her head slightly, as if trying to work out what he was.

Yes, you need me.” She purred as she grabbed her bag that had been hiding underneath her hair. Pulling out papers, blue prints and other bits and pieces she laid them out across the surface of his bed, glancing up every now and then as she spoke. “I am…well let’s say I am an unofficial guide for those who are…solidly challenged. I take great pride in my kind and you just happen to be apart of this ever growing…family. Like I said you seemed to have settled into your room quite nicely. If I didn’t know any better I would assume you had help. Another ghost I hope?"

She gave him no time to answer in line with that question as she went onto her next topic. There were spirits coming in every minute, she couldn’t waste all her time on just one of them.

“I thought you would enjoy me showing you around this place. The ghost dorms have been specially designed for us. Sure you would have been briefed at your initial interview for application, but I get to show you all the best bits…what do you say?”

Although if Seiji knew any better this wasn’t a question to give an honest answer to, it was happening if he liked it or not.

Well, she certainly didn't appear to have any issues with making herself comfortable in unfamiliar environments. Or around unfamiliar people. Not that he was surprised really. From the brief use of her own lovely assets as her profile image he had surmounted that she wasn't the timid or shy sort.

If she liked mind games she was certainly working the right angles, though the ghost boil merely regarded the mention of reputations with a slight lift of one dark brow. "Is that so?" What could she have possibly dug up on him from his past? It would have had to been from before he got to the school, considering, as of yet, he hadn't done anything terribly note worth in his short stay there.

The flutter of curled hair around pale shoulders drew his eye, and it likely would have any hetero male of a certain age, but crimson eyes jumped back to her face once it had settled.

The declaration that he needed her made him smile, an almost challenging little smirk along gray lips. Now wasn't she a confident little thing, or perhaps arrogant. And what was that she was laying out along his bed. Papers of some sort. He craned his neck to get a better look, but it wasn't until he got back to his feet and wandered over that he realized they were blue prints.

Had he been allowed to answer her question she'd have been sorely disappointed in him. He had had help moving in, but Bul was most certainly not a ghost. But since she hadn't actually wanted an answer to that question, he didn't bother giving one. Instead he gave considerable thought to her offer to show him around.

They had given him a bit of a rundown of the dorms when he'd arrived, but nothing half so in depth as she was hinting at. It was an intriguing offer, though he had to admit her motives were questionable.

Questionable, but not worrying. There also didn't seem to be room for refusal in her proposal. "Sure, why not." He didn't have any plans(He'd give Junko a call later), and he had to admit he was now curious.

She clapped her hands in response to his agreement, oh they would have fun him and her, she could sense it.

"Good choice" she stated as she circled a finger over the papers until it hovered over the one she was looking for. Blue prints of the ghost dorm rooms.

"You will need this. These are the 'official' blue prints, anyone can obtain them with the right information and...persuasion" she looked over her shoulder at him and curled her lips back into a smile, accompanying it all with a slight shrug of her shoulders. If anything came into his mind of what she was prepared to do for information, well, this act was to show she was too innocent to do anything bad.

That wasn't the case though, anyone could see that.

As you can see" she muttered while handing him the paper. "I have made some adjustment, areas which are not stated on these forms. I think you will find a few of them most...hmm, what's the word am looking for...tantalizing."

[img] if approved by GMs [img]

She stood up and gathered the papers with a flow of her smoke tendrils. Paper being the one solid thing they could lift in this weak form they pushed them back into her bag while she stood, hands on hips, waiting for the Jilkininki to get up as well. When he didn't move quick enough she rolled her eyes to the ceiling, huffing in frustration

"Well!... come on then! We don't have all night!" she shouted. If Seiji didnt know the extent of her bipolar attidtude now, he would know soon enough as the guide began.

Not caring to see if he was behind her she stepped back out into the hall way and without even a hint that he was ready began speaking.

"As you know this is the boil dorm area. There were too many...late evening activities going on to warrant them keeping the ghouls and boils together. You occupy the west wing, we the east and the common room adjoining them both together. I don't think I have to tell you twice to never use the boils shower rooms do I?"
She stopped for a second as if contemplating a terrible event "When will they learn, never pick up the soap."

Hovering beside his own bed, he looked down at all the papers spread out over the blankets. Resisting the temptation to comment 'what choice', and instead rolling his eyes. He did smile though, despite himself. She was indeed abrasive and subtly bossy, but he didn't seem to mind it. If nothing else, at least she was interesting.

When she indicated a particular sheet of prints he looked down at it obediently before glancing sideways at her little show of innocence, and he wasn't buying what she was trying to sell.

Who was she kidding?

None of these thoughts were vocalized though, and instead he took the offered paper to give it a closer look, focusing in on a few of her personal additions with growing interest. "Tantalizing, hmm?" Her choice of words was very interesting, and if her goal had been to pique his curiosity, she was doing a damn good job of it.

As she began to gather up her papers to repack them in her bag he folded the print she'd given him to slip it into his back pocket beside his eyephone. A huff sounding from beside him indicating he wasn't moving fast enough for her tastes, and it earned her a narrowed look that she likely missed as she turned to walk out the door. Ok, maybe that bossy thing would eventually get to him. Frowning, he followed, shutting the door behind them and locking it.

As she started in on talking about their dorm and the segregation of genders he couldn't help but audibly scoff. "And what's to keep people from simply walking across the building to carry on the same late night activities. Or for that matter, simply phasing though the walls." He didn't bother commenting on the communal shower thing, he had his own bathroom, so the idea wouldn't have occurred to him.

You will find that your seal will allow you to phase through the walls adjoining your dorm and the hall and common rooms, but other dorms and shower rooms are prohibited. Unless sanctified by the school it is strictly forbidden…but not….impossible” she looked through him with clear eyes, her black iris knew no depth, she held a multitude of sins behind the smile she gave.

She noted his look and with a last pat on the wall the seal disappeared back into the aging wallpaper. Of course you can visit any friends, and I do hope you make a few.” She purred at him as her smile deepened. During the school hours and before curfew you can be invited to the dorms of others, after then, well the seals are activated and let’s just say you get more than a little shock.” Her raised eyebrows and smiling eyes may have brought questions to Seiji’s mind of what exactly this meant but with a flourish of her skirt she started to walk again, leading him to the direction of the common room.

Decked out with huge sofas, tables and chairs for study the common room was an area dedicated to the ghosts to meet and greet each other, not that a lot of that went on of course. To be here was to often find yourself alone or glared at by other ghosts wanting to study in peace. Decorated in candles their light flickered across deep red wallpaper, the room was very Victoria in nature with modern twists brought in by the new and hipper students. A large SkeVee was hung on the south wall with a battered Doombox placed nearby; it was currently sleeping despite the protests of some of the more active students. There was a roaring fire settled within the confines of a beautiful fireplace, marble and oak entwined into a majestic piece. It was lost on a lot of students but Sarias still patted it as she went past.

“Here we have the common room, although most other students will see this room as neutral grounds I will advised against bringing anyone other than us here, you will more than likely be shunned and this lot are bad as it is.” She nodded as an unrecognized ghoul huffed and bolted through the walls back to a more quite dorm room.

She twisted round, she could get use to this guiding business but she had yet to work out the impact it was having on her tourist.

Are you bored yet?” she staked with a hint of threat in her voice. “Would you like me to move onto the more interesting…attractions this place has to offer?”

He resisted the urge to snort in amusement at the pretty face comment, and merely grinned instead, a fierce sort of splitting of dark lips to show off his delightfully pointy smile.

His gaze followed the hand the floated over to the wall, glittering runes flaring to life as she touched them. Huh, well that was different. He too lifted a finger to poke at the wall and was rewarded as the runes came to life at his touch. Though cool as it was, he wasn't sure exactly how he felt about the restrictions. Not that he was in the practice of sneaking about in others rooms, but the runes themselves meant the school didn't trust him.

Though glancing to the side at the ghoul now grinning at him he was finding it very difficult to blame the faculty for putting such restrictions in place. "And how exactly did figure out the trick to getting around these things?" He was curious, he'd admit it.

As she started walking again he automatically fell into step behind her, returning hands to the depths of his pockets. He was actually interested in seeing the common room. Sure he'd passed it a few times, but he hadn't yet gotten a chance to really explore it or everything in it. Of course much to his chagrin the communal space wasn't half so welcoming as expected. He knew the societal hierarchy in place in their world and the standing of ghosts within it, but he himself had never placed a whole lot of stock on racial status. He would, however, keep such things in mind in the future. He didn't want to step on the toes of his fellow ghosts.

The sudden inquiry of boredom drew his attention back to the banshee and he chuckled. "No, not really," he started, broad shoulders raising in a small shrug. "But by all means, let's continue." He withdrew his clawed hand from his pocket indicate she should lead the way.

The answer was indeed the one she had wanted, if anything the only one she would have accepted falling from his dark lips and she rewarded him with her own rendition of a smile, wicked and mysterious as it may be it was a rare and pretty sight to behold.

“Good, I would hate to be boring you, this is after all a passion of mine, helping my kind to settle in. We must look out for each other, who knows what the future holds for us.” Her eyes gleamed with further plotting. If Seiji had been a good judge of character he may have escaped right there and then, but sadly she had already twisted her hands around his extended arm to link with him, the other resting on his biceps as she gently tugged him in the direction of the main doors. She was leaning into to him as they walked under the archway which led to the main hallway – the path that connected all rooms together in a maze of twists and turns. It was also the only way any fleshies could make their way to the dorms of their 'friends'. Sarias decided to point this little fact out with a wave of her hand as if painting a picture.

“You may not see much of this area, although it is a great shame. The décor here runs back centuries and you can tell it is in near top condition with the lack of use.” A stray finger found the dado rail covered in dust and she wrinkled her nose in protest. “Although with little use the dust has time to gather and the school…well lets say the school thinks there are more pressing matters to attend to than us ghosts.” The hint of venom in her words spiked the air as she made her way to the library. Other than the common room this was the next best area for students to study. No where near as grand as the demons, or even the reapers but it was quaint and tidy and full of old arm chairs that consumed your worries and allowed you to relax with a book. Finding themselves alone Sarias allowed herself to unravel her arm from around his but still made sure to give a little nudge as she departed from his form.

“This will be your second home soon enough with all the assignments you will get, the school may be many things but slacking on homework is not one of them. I advise you find a corner you like and stake it for your own.” How Seiji was meant to do that was anyone business but Sarias favoured threats and the subtle hints of a curse. Walking to a wall she gently laid her hands on it and once more a rune flared brightly and then crackled as if the bulb was losing power. It flashed a few more times before dying completely, sizzling out with a whimper.

“Runes, runes and more runes!” She grinned as she tapped the wall in protest but this time it did not light up again. “They are more powerful on the outer walls to stop unwelcomed visitors getting in, sadly this one has been damaged one time too many and has been overlooked by the staff, like so much else in this place.” She added grimly, the tones in her voice would hint from light to dark without a moments notice, it was difficult to perceive what mood Sarias was in half the time. Seiji though had nothing to worry about just yet.

“Now the fun stuff!” Sarias exclaimed as she reached down into her corset, completely ignoring any protocols of where to keep you items in public! Eventually (after much tugging) she pulled out a black pouch, small enough to fit in the palm of hands. Retrieving a gem stone from it she pressed it against the wall. Green, cracked and dull Sarias wiped the stone across the rune as if it were a cloth. The stone started to vibrate, only noticeable when Sarias took her other hand to give support to her shaking wrist. It seemed to swallow the light while emitting one of its own and the more she moved it the brighter it became before lighting the rune up into a frenzied glow.

It would have been a few moments before Seiji could see that in its place was a black hole breaking through to the other side. Sarias had already disposed of the gem back in her pouch and had it hidden it one again between her assets.

“Just a little trick I picked up.” Her laughter cracked on the walls as she leaned against the hole she had created, her hand outstretched to him with a ‘come hither’ look exposed on her features.

“Want to explore my….ahem, passage way? On the way you can tell me all about yourself. I am very intrigued, I would like to know more about you.”
