AMITYVILLE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT FORM Name: Enzo Valentino
Nicknames: The Exterminator, That Punk Kid
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Faction/Race Reaper- Shaman
Personality: Wiseguy spoiled, brattish son of a Halloween Mafioso. A tough cat, and a real swinger. His pride is easily poked at. He loves control, and gets flustered when things don't go his way. He also loves a good boxing match, especially when he wins. He likes to seem like a cool dude, but when he loses said coolness, he loses it bad.
When it comes to his vermin minions, they are entirely expendable. Only the three he keeps as his specific minipets have any emotional attachment, anything else if crushed under foot or gobbled, it's more of an inconvenience, if anything. Touch The Boss, though, and that's a different story.
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? After the incident at his last school, it was time to move on.
Natural Ability:
The only "magical" thing he can do naturally, with the help of his Upright Bass ("The Boss") and his smooth voice, he's able to command whatever rats and vermin happen to be in the vicinity. In Halloween, though, rats and vermin are always in the vicinity. Rats, Roaches, centipedes, pigeons and other pests come to him naturally. The lower his Fear, the more inanimate The Boss gets, and the more powerless he becomes.
FEAR:
Enzo's Fear Power stems from his hypnotic control via music. On a standard level he can influence tiny things like a small handful of roaches and rats, but when he gets a good Fear Power Boost, he's able to do much more:
VERMIN SWARM - With a good bass beat, Enzo can summon all little critters from an X foot/mile radius, summoning a tidal wave of gnawing and creeping and crawling and scurrying for a hit bonus that round. Down side: There aint no critters, there aint no swarm. Can work with one or two critters but that is a lower powered attack.

Hypothetical and silly move ideas:
Year Two:
JIVE AND WAIL - Enzo's hypnotic control has grown! Any listeners, be them friend or foe or scurrying creepy crawlies are suddenly compelled to swing dance, be there a partner there to catch them or not!
Year Three and Beyond:
Pied Bass - At his peak of his powers, he'll be able to manipulate with music, be it general hypnosis or swarming, etc. and control their movements/actions for that period as much as he's able to emotionally effect them. (disable type move? TBC)
Physical Description: Average height, the build of a young boxer in training, (i.e. scrawny but tough) dark eyes and usually a smug expression
Eye Colour: dark. Black? Dark brown?
Hair Colour/Style: Black and messy
Skin Colour: olive and freckled
Clothing Style/Colours: Zoot suit pants, black shiny shoes, and if he's casual his undershirt and suspenders, if he's dressed up, the rest of the zoot suit and hat. Up to artist
Extra: He looks fairly normal and human, but he does have a strong chin and a bulbous nose!

The Valentinos:The Underground of Halloween is a disjointed, constantly fluctuating thing. In fact, the only people who really know who are in charge, are those in charge, and they are generally unreliable as sources. The important thing to know is that whoever YOUR Boss is, you're on their good side. The Valentinos are a family of Reapers and Undead who have been controlling their small but growing faction for quite some time. They generally concentrate on - insert illicit activity here- - Until they stepped on the wrong toes. It is a difficult thing to wipe out a family who's half of their occupants are Undead, but someone who was hungry enough for their territory- or displeased enough by their dangerous antics- figured out a way to do so. All that remains are Enzo and his two sisters. Does he care that all of what his family worked for is in shambles? Does he want to follow in his father's footsteps? His older sister doesn't know but is already taking matters into her own hands, at any rate, even if her younger Brother and heir to the heirarchy is a bit flighty and unmanagable. Info coming soon. The Family:(Names coming soon) Mother: (Zombie) Father: (Reaper) Older Sister: (Reaper) Younger Sister: (Zombie flapper girl) THE BOSSIs a rockin' upright bass. When it first materialized when Enzo was wee, it was a lot smaller, and more of a violin. People scolded him for not playing it properly until Enzo was about seven and it was looking like more of a cello. It enjoys following Enzo everywhere possible, and would not enjoy Enzo going to class without it. Alas. It will just have to deal. and All That Jazz

If I played Magic the Gathering, I would make my deck nothing but mana and relentless rats. like. MANA AND RATS. I am so tempted now to make this happen and seriously go to a tournament at a comic book store sometime and SEE WHAT HAPPENS. I blame you. |B BUT. It is looking like I should lean for the rat theme continued, then! XDD

Okay, I love this guy x3 .
Love the mafia-esq angle, love the pied-piper bit. Loooove the jazz thing.
"After the incident at his last school, it was time to move on" made me giggle.
As for the FEAR I actually like the hypnosis. Its interesting, could do some
fun things for his character and is a bit more original spin on the pied-piper.
It does the pied-piper bit without necessarily being the pied-piper
THEN AGAIN, who doesnt love a good swarm of rats >w< ?

For example: Pied Piper generally -does- pretty much hypnotize the rats to follow him right? Or Charm them rather? XD So ... if he can do it to rats, later on with more power, he could do it to larger and more intelligent things~

The original story had him lure the children away at the end so it made me think that sort of goes with the general territory! I WOULD NOT BE OPPOSED TO OTHER PIED PIPERS POPPING UP. HYPNOTIC MUSIC OFF? 8D Everyone watching's brains explode |B Maybe it could be some sort of psychic blast that in lower levels (first year) can only effect Rats (Summoning them to swarm), his key animal, but in later years he gets powerful enough to control people/larger animals/his opponent through music for short bursts?? idkkkk seems complicated |B So glad people dig the 20's stylins. 8D I used to work at an old time photo place. XD SO I LOVE PERIOD STUFF A LOT.

Mmmmmmm, classic stuff is kicka' x3 .
I guess what I was trying to say was he has some kind of hypnotic ability, period,
and he has an affinity for rats, period, but that it might be interesting to play up the
hypnotic/music angle* and the rats as a it-just-falls-within-the-territory kinda thing.
*In that 'disabling' way you mentioned.
But yes, mayhaps hypnotic paralyzing or manipulating or however you intending
would be a power best saved for a later year x3 . And again there is just something
utterly awesome about a swarm of rats. (Unlike swarms of bugs, which just scare
the crap out of me xD .) Its like drowning in a sea of fuzzy, beady-eyed cuteness.
And also the art you have for him is amazingly expressive >o> .

I THINK for now I'll stick with rat swarm XD And his regular fighting moves involving one to four rats and boxing moves. XD I like to keep things simple when it comes to that. For both dice and RP reasons.
