The dining room is probably one of the more modern areas in the lair. It is used for large meetings, discussions, as well as adult parties. The style is more of a colonial feel than medieval. Everything in this room is fashioned with a stained pinewood finish, all of the rugs and accessories are suited to match. It is large enough to seat plenty of individuals comfortably. A statue of the fallen titan, Prometheus, is the center piece of the table. Two quartz crystal statues of the woman, Pandora are the sub pieces. The room is too far into the castle to have proper windows and see the artificial lighting outside. Candles provide the room with a natural light that will not harm the vampires. Butlers and waitresses are ready to cater to the whim of any individual, vampire or no. Simply request a drink or food; if you require it, and they will quickly prepare it.

Malkalinos flung open the doors to the castle and made his way to the dining hall. Curiously there was still nobody around. He instinctively gripped his weapon for reassurance as he scanned the area around him. After a moment he heard footsteps echoing through the castle; he was not alone after all. He stood there cautiously awaiting the arrival of whoever it was.

Arrea followed the newcomer, watching him with curiosity. It had taken a few moments before he realized she was approaching him. She brought her hand to the hilt of her blade for her own comfort, she wanted to be prepared in the event he accidentally unsheathed his weapon. Her dark hair fell around her face, framing her high cheek bones. Her voice was stern and welcoming all at once as she spoke to him, "Welcome to the vampire lair. We are the founders of the Crimson Underground. It is nice of you to join us--well me at any rate."

Malkalinos turned around to see a tall woman standing before him. By her appearance he guessed that she was some sort of royalty in this place. He bowed his head slightly and said, "Thank you. It is an honor to be here um...What did you say your name was? I am Malkalinos."

Arrea smirked slightly, "I didn't say." She removed her hand from her sword's hilt and let her arm rest next to her side, "I am Empress Arrea." She nodded her in towards him, this was her way of showing respect. She did not bow to just anyone, there was only very few people that she felt deserved it. "It is a pleasure to meet you Malkalinos, please make yourself at home. You may relax here and regain your strength. I imagine the journey must have been difficult to arrive here."
She clapped her hands and several butlers arrived in the room. They stood at attention waiting for orders from their mistress. "Anything our guest Malkalinos needs or wants, you give to him." Arrea faced him once more, "Perhaps you would like something to drink, we carry various types of blood. One of them could also take your things and show you to your room if you wish. Or if you wish to explore the lands and lair you may do that as well." She stopped herself from rambling, "Is there anything that I may do for you," she asked trying to be a good hostess.

While the Empress Arrea talked to Malkalinos, an oddly Crimson colored bat entered the Dining Room through the open door that Malkalinos forgot to close. The Crimson bat landed on the floor then turned back into a vampire. The vampire tossed his blood-stained sword into the air then an ordinary bat appeared out of the vampire's cape, the bat picked up the sword then flew outside through the still-opened door. The vampire said, "Hello Empress Arrea" then placed the hand near the head in a slanted position. The way people greet high ranking officer in the military. "I'm Vargius. I don't know how I got here but I just woke up in the middle of the forest with a bite on my neck. A bat that could talk guided me here and it taught me how to be a vampire" Vargius didn't spoke another word, He waited for the Empress to talk.

Arrea turned from Malkalinos, "Excuse me from a moment." She had noticed the dark colored bat enter the room and deposit another vampire into her quarters. She twisted the corner of her mouth into a slight smirk as the vampire saluted her. She nodded to him in the same way she had with her other guest. "Welcome, Vargius." She listened to his tale patiently, "I see, it is common for new vampires to lose their memories, it is similar to amnesia but most times the memories cannot be recovered by any means."
Arrea requested the freshest bottle of AB negative from one of the butlers. He quickly produced her a champagne glass filled with a thick red liquid. She politely took a small sip, the blood providing her with a refreshed sense of vitality. "It is also not uncommon to receive help from animals with human characteristics. It was nice of your bat friend to guide you here, it's probably the safest place in the world for you. Covenants don't take kindly to newly changed vampires." She gestured towards the staff she had on hand. "Would you like anything? There's no need to be so formal, I am an Empress not a general."

Malkalinos grinned slightly at the arrogance of the newcomer. Nonetheless he could tell that he was accepted by the empress. He bowed his head slightly and said, "If you are not in need of my services m'lady; I will retire to my quarters. The journey left me a bit fatigued."

Arrea smiled softly at Malkalinos. She appreciated his words, they seemed genuine to her and she felt he was a very kind vampire. "If that is what you wish. As I said to our other guest, there's no need to be so formal." She snapped to one of the maids, "Assist him in finding his room, give him whichever one he would prefer and help him with his things." The maid obeyed her command and quickly rushed to his side, ready to be at his beck and call. "If you need anything feel free to ask. I will do my best to provide. I wish you a nice rest and look forward to seeing you again. We have three types of rooms you can choose from. Please take whichever pick you prefer."

:: A smoky portal appeared just outside the dining hall as the monk stepped through, having just been in abysmal haven he was hungry, and he hoped these people were more hospitable. He swung open the doors of the hall and took a puff of his pipe and smiled. His green eyes scanning the room as he looked for a place to sit. Hopefully rex followed the trail of smoky portals::

Magic was in the air, the strings of spiritual activity were being pulled and manipulated by a master. Arrea felt the vibrations of the energy as a portal opened to reveal a human. She was simply astounded for lack of a better term. She felt as if a stranger was intruding into her lair, her home. She noticed the trail of smoke from his pipe, the billowing velvet swirled into the air before it diminished. There was a huge grin on his face as if he hadn't realized what he had just done. Furry boiled within her, he had not introduced himself to her...had not requested entrance into her home, he had simply waltzed in like it was a brothel. She had slaved and toiled in order to make every little detailed in the house a luxurious work of art. She simply stop what she had been doing...anger couldn't cover the outrage she experienced from the flagrant display of disrespect. Her emotions got the better of her as the glass in her hand shattered; she had finished most of the blood but a small amount had remained, it now trailed down the pale flesh of her hand. Arrea took a few moments to breath, trying to coax herself by quietly muttering a spell of serenity. She let out a sigh of relief as a wave of invisible light filled her. The cloud in her mind had been diminished as she regained control of herself, she felt she could speak properly now.
"I am sorry," she apologized more out of diplomacy than anything. She took a deep breath before she continued. "I do not mean to be rude but are you aware of what you've just done?" She prepared herself, like a mother about to make an attempt to explain something to her child. "This...this is my home, the home for the vampires. I do not mind visitors, in fact I cherish company but to appear in someone's home unannounced is...a bit rude to say the least." Arrea was no longer angry, she felt it necessary to explain the situation to him. "This isn't a pub or a bar for anonymous patrons. Are you aware that most lycans would kill someone that entered their territory without invitation?" She paused for a moment unsure of how to continue. "I'm not making a threat. The vampires are hidden underground for a reason." She placed her hand against her temple, if she had been capable of having a headache she probably would have had one. "You are welcome to dine with us and converse with us. I only request you tell me your name, so that I may give you mine. I also ask that you request to visit me with a messenger or maybe knock on the front door so that a butler may let you in."

Vargius was unsure wether to continue their conversation, the Empress Arrea looks very furious. He took a deep breath then said, "I'm sorry to intrude my empress but can I use one of your quarters to rest? I'm very exhausted from my journey to your humble abode" Vargius stared at the monk that appeared out of nowhere. His eyes darkened and his fangs sharpened. Just from looking he knew that he despises the monk, but he just smiled towards him to hide his thoughts.

:: he smiled and chuckled slightly:: " so that where that portal takes me " :: he looked at the vampire and smiled:: " my name is yousei, most call me sei and i did not mean to intrude. I am still getting a grasp on my portal jumping ability i never know where there gonna take me or where im gonna end up. I did not mean disrespect or rudeness i merely stepped through a portal and wound up here"

"I apologize, Vargius." Arrea turned to him to quickly address him, "You do not need to apologize to me. You may have any room you desire, as I just finish telling my other guest there's three different types of rooms please feel free to choose any that suit your interests." She wasn't trying to brush him off but she had to take care with this new individual. He wasn't a vampire and others of her kind might not feel fondly of his intrusion.
"Yousei," she addressed him, "I understand your predicament but please use more caution. I'd hate to see you enter the demon or lycan territory to find yourself in a tough situation. We are more civilized because we were and are more human than some of the other races." A maid rushed over to him, ready to offer him anything he needed. "Forgive me for saying this but your ability is a cause of concern if you have trouble controlling it. I was in the process of feeding whenever you entered, if I had been unable to control myself then I'm afraid of what could have happened." Arrea moved to a chair and placed herself gracefully in it. "Please, take a seat," she motioned to the chair across the table from her, "if you need anything this maid has been assigned to you for the duration of your visit. If there is anything at all you'd like to eat tell her and she will provide it for you." She waited for him to get comfortable. "I must admit...I am interested in your ability."

Hunger started to get the best of me as I approached the dining room, nibbling my lips just to keep the sensation under control. I went into the room and saw the empress acompanied by fellow vampires and some other person who felt that didn't belong here. My craving started to kick in again so without delay sat down and asked the waitress for some raw meat.
As soon as the meal was set infront of me I ate calmly since there is no point in eating fast. With each bite the cravings started to diminish putting my anxious state at ease.
