Still waiting for the game. About 8-9 more months of waiting left to do. I don't actually mind if they delay the game, as long as they don't somehow find a way to screw it up. But then again, this is Bethseda we're talking about. Everything should be smooth sailing. 3nodding

Forever to download/buy/install/ or play again? I could certainly fire up Oblivion right now and go at it for the next 8 hours...but I got an Abnormal Psychology exam tomorrow, lol. No intensive gameplaying for me today.

(although I wouldn't mind getting Morrowind on Steam). but, I meant they would take forever to beat... also, the fact that the only time I beat morrowind I was younger and used auto-re.gen health / magika cheats.

LOL! I play Oblivion on the PC. With the available mod database, there is no end to Oblivion. 3nodding

Oh, it's not hard at all to finish the main storyline. But the the additional side-quests and all the other nooks and crannies that the game has to offer provides us with things to do. With the addition of user-made mods, the game could almost stretch on forever with even more side-quest additions. I don't really like the main storyline since completing it wold mean the end of the Oblivion gates, which in turn cuts off some things I can only obtain in Oblivion. I've never actually used a cheat in the game. But then again, some mods can be considered cheats. 3nodding

Much harder than Oblivion because in order to rise the ranks in a guild, you actually have required skills rather than just going through a quest chain. To be honest I liked Morrowind better than Oblivion.....

I'm getting Elder Scrolls on PC this time around (although looking at the graphics capabilities it'll look like s**t on mine). Maybe it'll be a better experience than Oblivion was.

Yeah, I've played Morrowind before. Don't exactly have a solid copy of it anymore. Never really remembered how I lost it either. sweatdrop
Not too many memories of the game either. *sigh*
I hope Skyrim doesn't do some crazy revamping or anything. Maybe a better magic making system. Perhaps the ability to forge your own items aside from alchemy and enchanting. Hopefully more guilds as well with longer quest chains. Definitely more side-quests. Maybe horse combat? I don't remember if Oblivion vanilla had an official mounted combat system. A really good addition would be realistic environment shifting. Like watching towns/villages become bigger or get new settlers or something. Maybe even implement this govern your own village and recruit people to populate your village. Something along those lines. Highly doubt it, but I can dream can't I? 3nodding

Well mount and blade had something like that only it's slightly different, hard to get into as well.
However they would be awesome if they were in skyrim, only other thing i could wish for is a combat system like might and magic dark messiah perhaps even an improved version of that. But I think they're set to make a better game now that they have their own engine to work with. Just like obsidian, now they don't have to cater to other people's engines they can make what they need, teh inner workings are theirs!

I'm looking forward to Skyrim. If my desktop was working, I'd be playing Oblivion right now. As for Morrowind, my favorite thing was to become a werewolf and kill people. razz

Killing villagers... killing a villager just to use their house as storage xD And many, many more. :3
