Today was the day. Bul and Seiji had been talking on Groanspring for a while about moving in to Amityville but today his friend was actually on his way there to enroll and start taking classes. Bul had agreed to help Seiji move in and in that time he and the Onna spirit could get to know each other better. Already they had a pretty good friendship going online as if they were going to be roommates. Prior to the move-in, he was given Seiji's room number in the ghost hall. That was somewhere the half beast hadn't gone before...

"Let's hope they don't kick me out of that wing.." he said with a sigh and brought a plastic bag filled with some chips, candies, and other snacks to chow on while they'd work. He brought a chunk of his snot ball too but kept that in his pocket. It'd be best to ask the other before kicking it around and getting snot gunk all over his new room.

Bul left his rather gnarly room towards the ghost hall and held the plastic bag over his shoulder and behind his back. He strutted along until he reached the split in which the ghost dorms began. Funny he had never stepped foot in any of the other dorms besides the monsters'. The air was rather cold around him and he grunted frustratedly. "Hnng... it better not be this cold down there.." he growled to himself before approaching the mausoleum. He detested the cold... with a fiery passion. Being literally cold blooded sucked in winter weather.

Much to his dismay though, the halls inside were warm.. almost too cheery for his liking... but definitely warm and comfortable. "Thank Jack.." he uttered then followed the room numbers until he would reach the one he was instructed to. After ******** through some of the hallway transitions he finally found it and knocked gently on the door.

"Yo. Hey Seiji, It's me, Bul, you in there?" he called just loudly enough.

After what seemed like an incredibly long wait the day had finally arrived when the ghost could move into his new home away from home at the academy. The slight delay in things had made the ghost boil down right antsy, but now that he was here, staring at a pile of boxes and furniture, he couldn't help but feel as though he wasn't quite as ready for this as he'd thought. Not the classes, no idea of those didn't bother him, it was the prospect of going through everything now crammed into his dorm room. Packing the s**t had been a big enough pain in the a**, and now he got to look forward to doing it all again in reverse. Delightful.

At least he wouldn't have to do it all on his own. Unless Unstabul had decided not show. Seiji was really hoping that wouldnt be the case though. Of the people the jikininki had talked with on groanspring(with the exception of Junko, but his interests there were of a completely different nature altogether.) Bul had been the one Seiji could most see being a really good friend, and it would kinda suck if said friend turned out to be a douche bag right off the get go.

Frowning, the ghost forced human fingers back through the wild crop of black he liked to call hair, possibly messing it up further. He'd given Bul the room number and a general time in which he could show up of he wanted to, and all that was left was waiting. Waiting sucked. Unpacking sucked. He snorted in irritation and turned to a box, slicing the tape along the top with the tip of a claw. He might as well get started.

A knock on the door saved him from having to actually open the thing, and Seiji happily turned to go answer it. It was Bul, but even if it hadn't been the boil would have welcomed a distraction. Of course the appearance of the half beast was preferred over most alternatives.

Opening his door, he grinned at the monster in the hall and stepped aside so he could come in. "Yo. Glad you made it." he spotted the bag, and a black eyebrow lifted. "What'cha bring?" It likely could have been anything, and Seiji would have been interested. Anything to prolong the inevitable.

"Thank Jack this wasn't the wrong room!" Bul exclaimed happily and slung the bag back around and opened it up for him to see. "Just a couple'a bags of Cheesy Gremlin Teeth and some Salty Tombstones and a couple cans of Mr. Ribb," he said and reached in to grab one for them each. As he stepped in he looked around and whistled. "Damn we got a ways to go, don't we?"

Setting the bag aside where it wouldn't get crushed he sat on the floor next to a couple boxes and looked up at Seiji. "I brought my snot ball too incase we get bored of all this," he teased. "But I figure you'll wanna get it all out of the way. I moved in too fast and well... I told you what happened." There was a moment of silence for his smashed guitar.

"Alright well... we wanna get started then?" he asked clapping his spiney hands together and swishing his tail across the floor.

"Ha, No way. Thank Jack you actually showed." The ghost chuckled as he looked over the contents of the bag with considerable appreciation. Seiji hadn't bothered with breakfast that morning, and it was fast approaching noon. Those snacks would no doubt prove valuable in the very near future.

He took the offered can of soda as Bul moved further into the room, popping the tab to take a quick drink as the other boil gave a low whistle. "Ya, I uh," He paused, grimacing slightly. "I may have brought too much s**t." It was important s**t at least. If he was going to be living there for the next few years he'd wanted to be sure he had everything he might need. That included plush recliner, a drum set, and a fairly boss sound system.

At the mention of the lost guitar the ghost respectably bowed his head in a moments silence before looking over the mass of boxes. "It probably would be best to just get it over and done with." Not that the occasional distraction wouldn't be extremely welcome. "But breaks every now and then wouldn't be a bad idea."

Sighing, he forced his human fingers back through his hair once more before picking up the box he'd already opened and moving it over beside his drum stool. Taking a seat with the thing on his lap, then looking over at the boxed immediately beside Bul. "Those right next to you are either dvds, games, or computer s**t." He hadn't thought to accurately label his boxes, that had been a mistake. "I guess we can start by seeing hat's where, then figure out where the big stuffs going?" There, that seemed like a decent plan, right?

"Haha now why wouldn't I show?" Bul asked arbitrarily but laughed it off. He was just glad his friend liked the snacks. "Anyway, yeah I can do that," he said turning to rip the box open and peer inside. "Yep, DVDs and stuff," he said and carefully moved it aside the dove into the next clutter of boxes after opening his Mr. Ribb and taking a big long gulp.

Not but ten seconds later he urped out a decent belch and started lifting boxes depending on weight. "Here, tell me where any of this stuff goes..." he said now making a place to start organizing any shelves or drawers that Seiji may have brought with him.

"So have you gotten to see your ghoul yet?" he asked idly while they worked. "I feel like I've caught her once or twice on campus..actually I think she's in my Introductory to Music class. No no, I'm positive she's in there now," he nodded.

The ghost rolled his shoulders in a shrug at the question, glance up from the box he was looking through at Bul. "Dunno, it was just a concern." It would have been positively ghouly to admit that he'd been worried his first friendship on campus hadn't amounted to anything. He watched the half-beast take a long swig of the soda, waited, and was not disappointed when a loud, throaty belch. Grinning, he turned back to his stack of boxes. "Six and a half at best."

"There should be a a couple disassembled shelves in this mess somewhere. They stack fit together in sort of a zig zag and mount on the wall." He glanced around himself looking for the longish lengths of shelving. "The dvds all go on that. Anything music related can go on the dresser." he pointed towards it with a claw. "Games go by the tv, computer stuff near the desk."

Thankfully he'd taken the advice of his mother and kept his clothing in his dresser drawers. That had not only saved a lot of folding and packing, but was now going to save them the hassle of dealing with suitcases.

Reclaiming his can of Mr. Ribb, the jikininki took another drink, then nearly spit it all over the box books he was working on unloading as Bul brought up Junko. "What?" Coughing, he cleared his throat. "Ah.. no. Not yet." He'd arrived late the night before, and what with having already made plans with Bul... Of course now he was wondering if he should have probably offered to meet her? Tapping black claws against the side of his can, he did his best to appear casual. "So what's she like, you know, in person?"

Bul shrugged and let out an uneasy chuckle. "I really.. can't say much I haven't actually talked to her. She's cute and all seems pretty nice," he said. "She got assigned the piano in music class. Seems okay at it I mean compared to a lot of the others for sure." He pushed himself off the floor to start sorting through a few more boxes and happened to catch some of the stands for Seiji's drumkit.

"Haha, man did you tell me you played the drums? I can't remember... I'm actually playing them for class. You'll have to teach me on the side," he said and gave a sort of requesting gesture should Seiji not want him to sort through his kit. "I'm used to playing bass so..." he said and momentarily air guitared. "I asked for one but the teacher didn't give anybody a guitar so I'm assuming maybe he didn't have any.. I dunno," he shrugged and took another sip of his cola.

"

Well that was very uninformative. Ah well, at least the half-beast didn't have anything bad to say about the ghoul. Besides, he'd be seeing her soon enough in person and could make his own opinions. "Sounds like that class was pretty hard on the ears then?" He smirked, glancing up from his box in time to see Bul's attention land on his drum set.

"I think I mentioned it, but you were in mourning over your smashed bass." He was pretty sure it'd actually been their first conversation on groanspring. That and possible plans for a trip to the maul. "And sure, I can give ya a lesson or two if you need it."

He gave an idle wave at Bul's gesturing, giving the other boil full permission to dig about in his drum cases. "So is that class full then, music?" He'd missed the sign ups, much to his chagrin. Along with sports and fitness, music was right at the top pf Seiji's priority list.

"I'd bring earplugs but I figure that'd defeat the purpose," Bul brushed a hand back through his hair. "Yeah it's all full up. I'm not sure you'd like the teacher though he's a bit... girly, I dunno." Carefully and cautiously he set up his friend's drum kit aside from all the boxes so it wouldn't have any chance of getting smashed.

"But I bet he'll open another section, so far it seems like its a pretty legit class." By then Bul finished his snacks and drink and glanced around. "Hey you got a trash can or something? I guess I could use the bag I brought.." Idly he sorted through it to remove the uneaten snacks and set them aside before trashing it.

"Oh hey, I forgot to ask, I would assume not..but.. do you have any of those miniature pet things?" he asked and hung the bag on the door. "We might outta use that as we go along-" he added briefly. "Dude this is going along great, I wish I had gotten someone to help me when I moved in." Bul was on a roll digging through boxes. He'd turn and curl his tail around things and set them up on the shelves they set up while he adjusted a lamp.

The Jikininki snorted at the earplug comment, nodding in agreement. "Ya, it just might." He paused, glancing at his friend. "Girly, huh? Like feminine, or more eccentric fruity?" Not that it really mattered, Seiji wasn't that closed minded, but now that it was mentioned he was curious.

"I'll have to keep my eye out then or future sign ups." Pulling a few books from the box he was currently digging through, he side stepped towards the shelving he'd set up above his low dresser. "Trash? Oh, no. I haven't found the bin yet." It was around here somewhere, probably. He glanced around himself, frowned when he couldn't find it, then shrugged and looked down at the books in his hand, reading the titles. It was perhaps a little odd, but he liked to keep them in alphabetical order by series.

The question on pets made him glance up again, and he slipped the books onto the shelf before moving beyond the mountain of boxes towards the door to his bed. "I have three, actually." He'd closed them all up in the other room so they wouldn't get into anything, but since Bul asked, he might as well let them out for a little bit. As he opened the door a dainty little scareon pup darted out and ran straight towards the half-beast. Behind her there was an old zombiejox and a less then friendly hazmutt. "Nameless," he pointed to the pup. She didn't have a name yet. "Dirge" zombiejox, "And Scythe."

He watched as Bul made excellent use of his tail while unloading his boxes, and had to agree things were moving along pretty smoothly. "Ya, we've already made a big dent. Thanks for helping."

"Some sort of er..." Bul waved his hand around in some windmill-like motion. "A sort of old fashiony pretty boy kind of thing.." He seemed to be struggling to find the right words. The boil would honestly feel guilty calling his professor fruity or gay or anything of the sort. "Just know that he doesn't seem to really like the whole... contemporary scene. Or so he seems. Either way, gotta know where you've been before you can get any better amirite?"

When Seiji couldn't locate a trash receptacle the beast went to the door and hung his plastic bag. "We might even use an empty box if you got stuff that needs throwing since a bin may not even hold it all," he shrugged then returned to the Hungry Ghost but stumbled back when he saw the little creatures hurdling out from his other room. "Oh man you do huh?" he said and knelt down carefully to pet Nameless and the other two. He made sure not to appear too threateningly tall. "I might just need to get me a little booger... but I don't want anything eating all my s**t.." he grumbled. "Maybe something that's really lazy.. and can tolerate my room.."

The heating lamp in Bul's room was intense for anything really furry. Being a scales-n-tails kind of monster anyway the boil figured something like him would be a much smarter choice. "Maybe you could help me pick one out sometime-" then looked around the room at everything getting picked up. "Damn son, we may just have time to chill. Do you got a skelevision? What am I talking about, of course you do!" he grinned and shook his head to himself.

Clearly he would have to see this Professor Blue for himself. A music class sounded right up his alley, then again, if he wasn't allowed to pick his own instruments.. Well, he'd just have to wait and see.

Using a box for a trash bin was actually a rather genius idea, and the hungry ghost was quick to say so, grinning as he dug about in the pile of discarded cardboard for a moment before pulling out an empty one that seemed a decent size for it's new job. He set it on the ground between them, then proceeded to gather up what wrappings and bubble wrap he'd been laying on the dresser up to that point before dropping everything in the box. "Even if we do fill this up, at least it'll be relatively light."

He watched as the nameless pup continued to bond around Bul, completely unfazed by the taller student's height. She was, with out a doubt, the friendliest little thing the ghost had ever taken ownership of. Dirge and Scythe weren't even half so social. Hey had allowed the petting, though quickly wandered off. The jox trotting back into the bedroom while the hazmutt curled up on the big easy chair. "You know, I haven't had any problems with three eating anything, but maybe I just got lucky."

He sank down on the arm of the chair beside the hazmutt and ran a hand along the beastie's back. "Maybe a reptile would be good for you. Sure I'll help pick something out." He blinked at the quick change of subject before pointing with a claw at the big tv across from him. "Sure do. It's not hooked up yet though." He chuckled, getting up to locate the box of cables and gaming systems. "Ah, here we go."

Bul was well distracted by the minis but as soon as Seiji started to heave the trash away into the box the monster turned his attention to the bubble wrap and idly popped it like any child would. His claws occasionally popped the bubble and released air so there was no sound emitted. He'd grumble at these but eventually popped enough to satiate the urge.

"Yea well... I'm not so lucky with pets. Parents had a beasty I don't even know what the ******** it was now but it always dug out my scarves and chewed em up.." he snorted. His tail tapped the floor anxiously at the thought.

"Cool we should watch something while we work.." he smirked and rumaged through the DVDs they had just sorted onto the Ghost's shelves. "Goes by faster that way," of course this wasn't neccesarily true in all cases. Bul rocked on his toes a bit before looking down at their progress. "Pretty much done wouldn't you say? Damn. We should hold parties in your room," the half beast chuckled.
PostPosted: Wed May 11, 2011 9:04 am

"Well if you want to, sure. We'll have to hook it up though." From his perch on the arm of the chair he did a quick glance around for the box labeled 'Electronics'. It was smaller, and within it were all the plugs and wires for not just the tv, but the game systems and speakers. He couldn't see it. "Do you see a smallish box, lots of tape on it?" It was likely still buried under the few boxes they hadn't gotten to yet.

Nameless continued her mindless prancing around the monster's tail, pausing only long enough to sniff at a new place every now again again, until Seiji finally bent over to pat his shin, calling the pup over to him so he could pick her up. "I'd be happy to help you pick out a pet that suits you. They've got a shop by the maul." He paused, then had an idea. "Oh! And while we're out that way we can go check on basses."

"So.." He grinned, running a claw behind Scythe's ear. "You have lot of scarves then?" It really didn't matter, Bul could have whatever he wanted and Seiji wouldn't care, but he figured perhaps it could have been a soft point he could bust the other boil's chops about.

Now that he had the scareon in his arms the little thing was settling down, and after a wide yawn she lay her chin on his forearm, paw hanging over lazily.

Looking over his shoulders and underneath him, Unstabul could not locate the box Seiji was hunting for. "Naw man I don't think I saw it. Maybe you packed it with your drawers or something eh?" he asked with a frown. That would burn him if he couldn't find the cords for any of his s**t too.

His eyes followed the pup as it returned to it's master and stood now straight as Seiji picked her up. "Yeah that'd be great I mean now that we can make it from one side of your room and back," he chuckled and nudged aside an empty box. "I really wish I had a couple hundred seeds. I'd ask my parents but they'd yell at me for breaking my last one.." he snorted, now crossing his arms.

"You know there's a reason I wear them-" the boil yanked his down enough for Seiji to see the bulbous lump on his neck. "Always there man. Even when I'm not broke out." Eventually his frown turned back to a grin, he could tell Seiji wasn't really out to get him. "And I actually own mostly bandanas thank you very much," Bul beamed then grabbed the bag of trash to take on their way out.

"Well... welcome to Amityville Academy, Seiji."
