What's the best gun to do it with? Personally I like the L96a1, I got two
1bullet2kills with it in rapid succession on Nuketown.

Comes down to personal preference. You have to like the feel of the gun with the reload speeds, etc. I like the PSG with variable zoom.
Scout Pro perk is pretty awesome if you have pistols as secondary because you can switch to them so fast and take out nearby enemies easily!

It is dependent on what I'm doing.
If I am legitimately sniping how a sniper should be, which means they are in the back of some place picking people, then I use the PSG1.
But when I am feeling saucy and want to no scope and tomahawk, I use the L96. Some odd reason, I like the curve of the L96, it helps me be able to tell somewhat where the bullet is gonna go. I also like the fact that is is a bolt action, so I can't just spray with it like the Dragonov, PSG1, and Wa2000. The fact that you can't spam it kinda makes it more humiliating.

idon't know if anyone knows this, but...all sniper rifles do the same damage, the ln6a1, wa2k...even the dragunov, the scopes are different but all do the same, so people who use the stupid bolt action one bother me because they think it's the best on power, wrong as hell brotha.
i like the psg1, it's not last for nothing, quick to reload, semi auto, everything you could want, and the hit detection on it feels better.

before you lose my challange man, i should tell you...theres this dude who is on machinima, his name is drift0r, he made the videos for weapon statistics on mw2, and black ops alike, i watched them, all of them. all sniper rifles do the same damage, the scopes are different and the hit detection in the game is bad, so some people might think so, there are also body multiplyers
a body multiplyer goes basically like this, for most weapons, except pistols, snipers and shotguns, actually shotguns have no body multiplyers whatsoever...
FACE -1.5x damage
NECK -1.1x damage
TORSO -1.0x damage
stomache and limbs -regular damage output
if you pay attention to the weapon stats, any of you actually, you have been decieved, those things lie, badly, and could be improved, in many ways, but nobody wants to look at the text of me bantering
I'll also name the basic sniper body multiplyer, demon you might want to look at this
FACE: one shot/2.0
neck: one shot/1.8 or...1.5 i think either way one shot
torso: one shot/1.5
belly: 2 shots/ 1.1
limbs: 2 shots/1.0
these americans i know seem to think they are always right without reasoning, that is why i am not a nice person, but since i don't know if your american, i can't say the difference. in the future, please try to be more courteous to others, and don't go bagging on everyone else like an effing douche bag, because chances are, you could be like all of the other worthless americans i know...DEAD WRONG, SÜKA

And from my playing with those shitty snipers have gathered that it is a two hit kill with them, if it isn't a head shot or neck shot. And don't call me an "American". I am not even a human being. So, whatever your problem is with Americans, you can talk to them about it. And if we are talking about courtesy, you should lead by example, douche. Eh, like I said, they are shitty snipers and I would rather prefer the L96, due to the fact that it would humiliate a bunch of tryhards like you lol The fact that you would look up the hit multiplies only shows the fact that you are a tryhard at CoD. Also, when I first started no scoping, I tried the Wa2000 and I would get 2 hits on them to the chest, but when I tried the L96, 1 shot to the chest put them down.
