Genji shakes his head when he sees the note and picture. He puts the picture face-down on a table by his bed, he sighs and runs his hands through his hair

Genji looks at her for a moment then looks forward again, he is sitting at the table kind of hunched over with a glass of whiskey, the bottle is close by. "What do you want." he says and takes a sip

Isobel stood at the door, her eyes focused on it, her fist up in a pounding pose. She let her hand fall to the side, "Sh-should I really do this?" she whispered to herself. She nodded and knocked on the oor, "Genji, its Isobel, I-I really need to talk to you. It wont take long.." she yelled through the door.

Genji looks over to the door and sighs he walks over semi-drunkenly and opens it. He turns around and sits back down at the table with his drink without speaking

Isobel walked over and looekd at Genji, "Sorry for being a burden. I just need to tell you before you...just leave..." her heart started pounding in her chest as she let out a deep sigh, "Genji, i'm in love with you. Y-your just like..." she stopped and shook her head, "I dont know why Genji. But out of all people I choose you..." she turned around and looekd at the door, "I-I just needed to let you know." she said, her voice low as she slowly walked to the door.

Genji sighs "Why would you love me." he says more than asks, he finishes his drink and lights a cigarette with a match. "There are way better people out there" he says and exhales smoke "I'm not the guy you're looking for." he says softly

Isobel paused, "Your actually the exact guy i'm looking for Genji..." she turned around and rubbed her arm. "I-I just...I just think, the way you are..." she sighed. "I love how you always do what you want, but at the same time, you can be sweet..." she shook her head, "Its just...you..." she turned away and started walking again.

"I'll only ever hurt you." he says and turns away to his room to go to bed. He almost regretted what he said, but it was true... also if he was ever going to rise to the top of the streets, being with someone can be dangerous for him and her. It just wasn't going to happen. he closes the door to his room and lies in bed for hours before finally falling asleep, his nightmares haunt him the whole time.

Isobel shook her head, "Actually, if anything, you helped..." she walked out and closed the door behinde her. She slid down the door and burried her head into her hands, her knees to her chest as she did so. Isobel could feel the tears wealing out as she sat there.
