Now he found himself to be quite comfortable perched up here with a great view he could see for miles, there was a rolling broke to the east, hills in the north. It really was a glorious view, the lands around here were beautiful.

It was from up in his perch the Naim saw the lion moving through the lends, he leaned forward interested in what the lion might be doing in these parts of the lands, it had been so long since he had seen another creature. The male was darkly colored, he moved down his tree branch to get a closer look.

Hoaka had been travelling for quite sometime, he had left his family just a little while ago on his search. His search to find... well find something. He didn’t know what he was looking for but he knew he had something to find, answers. The purple male had had a good enough life there was nothing he really lived without, it was more that he was in search of more, his family had been wonderful, but he wanted to have a purpose to life, something that he would be able to say I do this and make a difference!

The lion didn’t noitice the other creature sitting up in the tree, he was heading towards the water. It had been quite a walk so far and the dark colored lion was thirsty.

Naim’s interest was at an all time high, he wanted to know what the lion was all about. He moved slowly down the tree trying to be quietly so that the lion wouldn’t hear him. He wanted to know more about the lion, he wanted to know if he was a traveler or if he lived in this area. Naim had been staying in this area for a little while and hadn’t seen another soul yet but that didn’t mean much.

Reaching the bottom branch of the tree Naim decided he still wasn’t close enough but he wasn’t willing to get down on the ground either. He didn’t know if the lion was dangerous or not, though the lion didn’t show any signs of being overly violent. None the less Niam wanted to be sure. Sitting on the lowest branch Naim moved himself carefully and managed to swing himself so that he hung upside down from the bottom branch. From here he was able to take in the colors of the male lion, he was very striking but also very large.

Having gotten his fill of water Hoaka turned and sat down on the bank taking in his surroundings. This area was completely knew to the male and he always liked to try to gain as much information about the area he was in. After all he was in search for something and unless he knew all about the area possible it he figured it would be hard to find what he was looking for. As he sat there something moved out of the corner of his eye, he turned his head to see the brown leopard hanging from the branch of a tree not to far away. Hoaka was very confused by this behaviour and he wanted to know more about him.

The large purple lion rose to his feet and began to walk towards the tree that the other creature was in. “Hello” he said his voice was soft he didn’t want to frighten the leopard he wanted to make a friend “My name is Hoaka, I do hope that I am not intruding on your land.” He figured that he should let the other one know he meant no harm, perhaps then he would be more willing to talk to him. “Might I ask why you are hanging from a tree?”

Naim felt a giggle rise up in his throat he was in a silly mood. “Well I was hanging from a tree to look at you.” Naim answered as if it was the most obvious answer and something that was quite normal for one to do. Naim found the lions beauty to be quite striking, bright bold colors, and a large lion, he was wondering what the male was doing out here all on his own.

“My name is Naim, and you are not trespassing at all, no one has claims to these lands... they are just lands.” Naim wasn’t one for the idea of prides or staying settled for very long, he liked to move about and see the world. “Say where did you come from, I have been in this area for about a week, and no one else has even come close to here.”

“Well I am glad I am not intruding.” Hoaka said a smile on his face. Despite the fact that he thought the leopard was an odd sort Hoaka was not one to be rude. “I have been travelling for awhile in search of something, I just happened to head this way, and when I could smell the running water I decided to come in for a drink.” Hoaka told him. “I can’t say that I came anywhere in particular.” Hoaka told him.

The large purple lion was trying to figure out how he felt about the brown leopard. The leopard was clearly odd, but friendly enough. He was a little concerned that he was insane, but there wasn’t anything necessarily wrong with that either. “Where did you come from?” Hoaka asked him, perhaps the leopard had a past that would explain his odd habit of hanging out in a tree.

“I am from anywhere and everywhere.” Naim told Hoaka. Finally the brown leopard decided to flop out of the tree and landed on the ground gracefully. “I have been travelling for as long as I remember. I have made many friends and learned many things along my way. It was actually a bamboo that taught me how to climb trees. It’s a handy talent to have really, it has kept me safe on a number of occasions. That and I am able to see for miles when I am up top of a tree. I saw you LONG before you saw me.” Naim boasted to the lion.

Naim was already growing bored of this lion, he seemed to be a stuffy sort anyhow. “So are you going to be staying in this area long?” Naim asked doing little to hide his boredom that was beginning to over take him. He looked around him, he wasn’t sure he wanted to stay in this area again tonight, instead he was thinking perhaps he should travel north, there was beaches somewhere close by.

Hoaka felt a frown move across his face, despite the fact that the leopard seemed harmless enough he did seem to be a little rude. “Ummm no I don’t believe that I will be staying here, really I just stopped for a drink. I really best keep moving, I do hope to find a den to sleep in for the night and the dun is starting to get low.” Hoaka was already starting to think about what direction he should travel in he had come from the west he knew there was nothing there, but perhaps he should travel north towards the mountains that he could see on the northern horizon.

“Oh well that is good then.” Naim said. He really wasn’t interested in caring on any sort of conversation or polite talk. “I must be leaving now anyways.” He told the purple lion. He turned on his heels quickly and began to walk away. He had been hoping to make a good friend or someone who would play with him however Naim had only located in his opinion a stuffy old lion. He didn’t bother with goodbyes as he left, he just began to walk due south in search of his next adventure.

Hoaka was both rather shocked and insulted by the odd leopard’s behaviour. He had never met someone who was so rude. When Hoaka saw that the leopard was heading to the south it finalized his plans, he should continue north. Towards what was hopefully his future and definitely away from the strange rude creature he had met and wasted good time talking to.
