For the first time in a long time, meaning at least in the past several hours, Savior found herself once again not knowing where she was nor how she'd come to get in that exact spot. She'd been wandering around without a purpose, hardly surprising because she didn't know what she was doing to begin with, and the glare of the midday sun shown down on her red skin like an unwelcome visitor. Despite the little clothing the monster wore she could feel the heat and was uncomfortable for it, even with the cooler weather that Halloween provided compared to the arid deserts she was used to. Her bare feet were leaving small puddles of sand behind as she walked to and fro, the faint breezes hardly scattering the pungent scent of citrus that her trail left behind. Sometimes it was good to be a Marrowstripe because, even as it were now and she didn't know anything, at the very least Savior could never be lost. Of course that didn't prevent her from actually seeming to be lost, since one could never really get lost if they didn't know where they were going, and Savior let out a rather heavy and echoing sigh as she placed a hand to her forehead. It was hot, she was hot, and it was hard to see with all the glare and bright light that the bouncing yellow sky-ball thing ( hey, calling it a sun was too easy! ) provided on an hourly basis.

"Hot." It wasn't really hot but Savior wasn't really in the mood to be reasonable. If she had any plans she would have wandered back to the monster dorms, the place she was currently residing for a better lack of terms, and she could have rested in there until the sun started to set and she could see and move better. Instead she decided to gripe and shuffle about, looking at the faces of people pacing her and somehow (amazingly!) sorting them into various categories. They mostly consisted of: Marrowstripe, and Not Marrowstripe, something the students should and would have been thankful for were they to know what happened to those that fell into the former category rather than the latter. "Hoooot." Apparently if saying aloud the first time didn't bring her relief then saying it a second should and when it didn't the Marrowstripe female considered saying it a third time or a fourth time, only to have her thoughts interrupted as she approached a structure the likes of which she had never seen.

It was a fountain, one she'd passed about three time already in her little march around the commons, but for whatever reason it didn't register in the monster's mind as a landmark. Not entirely uncommon, of course, but it was odd that she didn't smell herself walking everywhere but up to the said object. Curiosity eventually got the better of the female and Savior found herself scurrying up close to the side, her once slow and dragging steps now light and nearly leaping as she made her way to the smooth and marble sides. She knew what the clear substance that was pouring down from the top was (water!) and she knew that water was good. . . only, she didn't know what exactly would happen when water pooled and the sun shown down on it and made the clear surface rather reflective. Usually active only at night, and even then unable to see anything in the dark, common concepts like reflections were not something Savior knew about. Sadly enough the only thing the monster could think about as she saw the Marrowstripe on the water's surface was her two category sorting selection. Whatever was before her was very clearly a Marrowstripe. The fact that the Marrowstripe was herself was completely irrelevant as Savior was entirely ignorant of her own appearance.

It was then, of course, with no hesitation that Savior decided to attack the offending Marrowstripe and show that she was truly the dominate one that ruled this area. That meant she was going to be repeatedly smashing her head into water with a very high chance of drowning, but hindsight was always 20/20.

That darn pumpkin-sun sure was making today out to be a warm one! Better suited to the cooler, autumnal temperatures of Halloweentown, Belladonna was not happy nor prepared for this warm day and though she had fished her favorite sundress from the back of her closet, it was still black and therefore not really any cooler. The witch was currently meandering her way from the gazebo she frequently haunted to the little fountain nearby to fetch some water for the overly thirsty plants, swinging the empty canister around and listening to the little hollow noise it made as air passed through its opening. While she contemplated sneaking off to a certain wisp's dorm after feeding her plants for she knew it would be cold, she paused a good distance from the fountain when she saw someone near it. Hmm, never seen that person before and from this distance she could not determine if they were male or female.

New friend alert!!

Hurrying her motions, Belladonna sprang forward while trying to retain a light canter but taking a few running steps because she simply couldn't help herself. Imagine her surprise then, when the person she was almost upon jumped head-first into the fountain. The witch let out a small shriek of surprise that was let out again when the creature reared back up and did the motion again and again.
"OH! What are you doing?!" She screamed, dropping the canister and dashing forward in attempt to stop the person for it very well looked like they were attacking the fountain in a very harsh way. "Stop! You'll hurt yourself!"

It wasn't too long into Savior's mighty battle with the rival Marrowstripe that the monster started to notice that she was having trouble breathing. While it wasn't uncommon for her to get a little sniffly due to the humidity of Halloween (she was used to the dry conditions of the desert after all) it did bother her to find that the pain she was feeling in her chest now was quite different. It was a sensation she did not like in the least and she equated it to losing, unaware that she was the cause behind it all. Instead of deciding to remedy the situation by stopping and backing away she assumed that if she was going down her opponent needed to be taken back down with her so once more with gusto she raised her head back to bang it against the surface of the water. . . only to come to a halt when a screeching voice graced her ears and caused her to turn her head.

"Wut." It would taste a lie to say that Savior was not surprised (and therefore was on edge) to have a set of hands grab her about the shoulders and pull her back from the water. Soon she was entirely away from the fountain and the Marrowstripe looked up at whomever had laid their hands on her, prepared to take down whatever enemy she was now facing. It was to some degree of relief and uncaring that her mind registered the newcomer to be a creature of pale flesh, not in the least a Marrowstripe, and Savior's hackles slowly lowered as she blinked up from where she was sitting. "Youse. Wut."

While it didn't appear that Savior was grateful to have been rescued it was likely because she didn't even understand the situation she'd placed herself in. Death as a result of self-injury was hardly something the monster was aware of and she slowly rose to her feet, suddenly standing taller than her new companion. It was with a stare that she waited for this new person to speak, almost demanding an answer. Good thing Savior didn't look angry in the slightest.

When the um, person... (Belladonna was awful at figuring out people's races, but she was usually pretty good about telling gender, but this was different...) paused their attack and stood up straight, she couldn't help but take a hesitant step backwards. Why was everyone taller than her?! SHEESH.
"Um? Excuse me?" She asked, her hands raising slightly in case she needed to attack and flee. This um, person looked rather... Attack-worthy. An innocent fountain had been their first victim, it was an easy stretch of the imagination to assume that they might attack a small, helpless girl next! "Me?" Belladonna asked, one hand touching her chest in confusion. That was all they had to say? And what slurred speech this creature had!

"YOU. You... You could have drowned yourself!" Belladonna jumped suddenly, finding the need to help spur her on rear its head within herself. She pointed purposefully toward the water, then her nose. "You know? If you... Submerge yourself in water?" She waited a small moment for a reaction before continuing. "You need air to breath. Well, most people do. I do. Water types don't. But uh, no offense but you don't look like a water type." In fact, this person didn't at all. Most water types wore a lot of blue or green or at least had cooler colors associated with them in some way. This creature looked more suited to... A desert.

"Or were you hot?" Belladonna asked, dropping her hands in a defeated way. "Its rather warm outside, but no reason to drown yourself. Though I guess you probably wouldn't have really drowned in only a foot or so of water. Or if you had I would have to call you stupid." Pale hands found her skirt and billowed it to create some semblance of a breeze before she looked up at her new companion. "Erm, that's not an insult either..."

"Yus. Hot." Savior managed to catch only bits and pieces of what was being said to her though she was understanding the body language far more than the vocabulary. This stranger looked worried, perhaps there was concern there? Savior didn't now what concern was - she was a solitary creature and therefore didn't know the subtle expressions brought on buy others, but she could gather that she may or may not have done something wrong. Water droplets from her hair trickled down onto her shoulders, causing her to shiver against the cold mixing with the day's heat, and soon the monster shook her head and scattered water everywhere. If her new companion got wet, oops.

Being away from fighting that other Marrowstripe was doing wonders for Savior's energy and her breathing, though she couldn't help but wonder if they were still there. Surely they'd have died from their wounds by now, Savior was far too strong as a Female to have anyone survive her attacks. She wanted to get back to the fountain and get another peek but this new person was rather in her way and Savior didn't have much of a heart to push them aside. Despite her aggressiveness when it came to others of her own species Savior was pretty damn docile and tame.

The water had started to run down the front of Savior's body and was soaking at the little pieces of fabric that she had clinging to her frame. The cloth quickly tightened against the water as it absorbed it, making it tight and heavy, leaving Savior to groan as she glanced down at it. A single finger moved and interlaced itself with the top and she started to tug it downward, the pale white of her torso showing more and more.

"Hot. Youse hot?"

While the witch continued to manually billow her skirt for a breeze, she at least smiled at this person who finally was understanding communication.
"So you just wanted a dip in the fountain? Well, that's alright but next time be more careful! It looked like you were attacking it! You weren't, were you?" She asked, pausing her inquiry only because the person shook themselves wet. Belladonna let out a tiny yelp as little water droplets splashed her and she jumped backward, her hands shooting up to ward them off. Just because she was hot and the water was cool didn't mean she wanted to get wet. And besides, didn't sometimes witches melt when they met water? That never happened to Belladonna (She showered regularly, thank you very much!) but she just didn't want to take the chance...

"Hot? Am I hot?" For some reason it seemed appropriate for Belladonna to interpret and repeat whatever the person was telling her. "Oh yes, definitely. Its so warm out and I cannot figure out why! Usually its much cooler than this, I rather hate this warm weather and--UM!!" The witch stopped suddenly when the person began pulling off their top, revealing the tiny buds of womanhood that Belladonna recognized quickly. Why, this creature was a fellow girl! How nice! Well, it was only nice for about two seconds when Belladonna realized the girl was not only flashing the witch but anyone who happened by. With another yelp the witch turned, grabbed up the abandoned water pail and shoved it against the girl's chest, effectively blocking her chest.

"Don't take your top off! Are you crazy?! What if someone walked by?" She didn't even have the heart to ask what the girl was currently thinking about the witch seeing her exposed as such. It was so indecent! And... Surprising? Shocking? Strange? Something else or all of those for sure. The witch was totally perplexed, her head tilting slightly as she pressed the can to the girl and hoped she would take it from her so she could back away. "Are you... Are you not from around here?" What Halloweener would just take their top off, unprovoked? Well, excepting all those who did such in the romance novels Belladonna read. Those reasons were very well explained, this was not!
