First things first before I jump into this story, I'll explain a bit about it.

First, this story is complete, as far as it has a beginning, a middle, and an end. However, I feel more can be done with it. So it isn't finished to my liking yet.

Second, it has come to my attention that there is a book, "The Last Unicorn," that has some parallels to this story. I've read the book when I borrowed it from my sister, and have seen the animated movie. Very good, by the way, I recomend it.

Third, this story started out much shorter as a school assignment. The truth behind that is it was not for english or writing class. It was for a science class. For a fun project, we had to make our own constellation when we did a unit on astronomy. Once we drew one, she said we had to write a story behind it. My constellation was a dragon and a woman reaching out to the dragon. After submitting it for marks, I revisited it and fleshed it out a bit more.

Fourth, feel free to comment, but please not here. I'll make a separate thread for comments.

Fifth, well I'd love ot hear some opinions about it, and just like to hear people have read it front to back. Also, helpful suggestions would be nice, as I am planing on rewriting this one - as soon as I get some other projects on their way.

Lastly.... this story is about the daughter of a Dragon Slayer whose father went missing. One day, she meets a strange magician, and his mysterious apprentice.... and pursues the mystery of the magician's strange looking apprentice. I don't want to say much more, although the truth about the mysterious apprentice is painfully obvious.
