The young foal explored the area of his home; he was a curious fellow and enjoyed discovering new things. Taking notice to some vibrant flowers nearby he stalked over towards them and took a sniff from them. His nose tingled and he sneezed a bit “Whoo..those things are strong!” he said.
Turning away from the flowers he glanced up at the sky and sighed with slight envy. His brother had wings like his father. He too wishes he could fly and go out on long flights with his father, but instead he was only a land dweller.

Aylin had become use to the journey that took her from her beloved temple to the new lands of her sisters. She made the journey when news of new additions to the flock reached her mind, carried by the spirits, or news brought back by her familiar.
Today she was checking in on her sister Celaeno and her new offspring. Her familiar had brought news, two males. She couldn't help but to be proud of Celaeno. It was rare for the sisters to have males, but it would help to produce better genetics in the future. The survival of her kind depended on the strength and abilities of the newer generations.
She bounded over a few fallen trees that crossed her path, in the distance she spotted a small figure. Black in color but with vibrant shades streaking the coat. It reminded her much of her sister. Perhaps this was one of the upcoming foals?

Rave was so caught up in the flowers he didn’t notice a harpy female heading his way. He lowered himself to the ground before a patch of little yellow buttercups. Rolling his head back and forth collecting some petals in his feathers. He seemed so at peace and at ease he couldn’t find a care in the world right now. The young half harpy didn’t know of what was expected of him later in life and so he lived his days freely for now.

Aylin stopped, a smile crossed her face. She remembered when she was once to free of care. She missed the days that she thought everyone was like she was, so naive...
She watched as he collected petals onto his feathers before nickering a greeting to the colt.
She didn't take her normal proud stance. She didn't want to come off as intimidating to the young one. Instead she just continued to smile, lowering her head so that she was more on his level.
"Good morning, Little One."

The young foal scrambled onto all fours for he was surprised by the sudden face that greeted him. His eyes blinked and he ruffled his feathers causing some petals to fall around him.
“Hello…” he seemed nervous.
This was the first time he ever met another harpy in the flock. His mother kept him pretty hidden and his father didn’t like walking around the flock along without mother around.

Aylin smiled at the startled foal, offering a slight laugh.
"Don't be so nervous, Little One. I did not mean to startle you." she took a few steps closer to the foal, eyeing him over silently.
"Your mother?" she inquired, "Which sister is she?" she wanted to be sure that she had the right sister in mind, though with his colors, it would surprise her to be wrong.
"I am your Oracle, Aylin." she bowed her head a bit lower than it already was.
