By the time they got back to her place, he felt...grey. There was no other word for it just...tired and played out...bloodless for lack of a better word, no pun intended. He was bruised, shaken, tossed, soaked, clawed and burned. He was therefore cold, sore, tired, aching and probably courting a fever which he didn't feel like addressing at this time. He wanted to address the issue even LESS because he knew they recovered faster than your 'average' person so...therefor, he wasn't going to worry about it.
He just wanted to -sleep-, at least after that fight he had a good reason for it, felt less like he should be up and burning through plans and filling out information on senshi...

It was a good thing her apartment complex had a underground parking garage. And that each room was assigned a specific place to park. She did not always use it, sometimes she just chose to park on the street.
This time, she would brave the underground...for the sake of not being seen carrying someone half dead into her home. "Ok... knowing you... you wont let me help you get to my place." She said opening her door, going around to the other side and opening his door. "So hopefully we can make it up the elevator without being seen. If you faint i am carrying you it you like it or not."

"Don't...push your luck Lieutenant..." he said with a tired -stare- in her direction before popping the car door open and pausing just a moment before getting out. "Christ... It's just the adrenaline wearing off..." He hissed as he stood almost reaching to tug at the shirt that he swore was now sticking to everything.
"I really don't think their that -bad- I'm just... I think I walked into every attack between me and Castor...almost HAD that ******** too..." He growled eyes narrowed.

"Not pushing luck..Boss. Just being concerned." She knew they should try and keep their personal lives and their negaverse lives apart.. but in instances like this, how could you?
"We just need to get you some pain pills... or get you snockered. Then you wouldn't feel a bloody thing." She laughed, she would know... sometiems drinking underaged.
"I think getting attacked by that damn monster cat did you in. I will want to look at those by the way... i have a first aid kit." She said, pressing the button and waving the key that allowed them on to her floor in the elevator. "What did castor do to you by the way? Ive heard you mention him a few times now..." And she was curious.

"He hasn't done anything to me Lieutenant..." He paused and blinked, a long tired blink like he was pushing aside the word itself. "Sorry...Toki.... He didn't do anything to me, just a friend, I'm...not at liberty to discuss it."
He stifled a yawn and followed after her, complacent so long as she didn't issue any more 'concerned' orders. That in itself could have been a warning for how done in he was.
He sighed tired. "The Leopard was one of the FIRST things to hit me Li...Faya...that doesn't make much of a prognosis for the rest of that 'battle'... I'm proud of you and the other's though..." He added glancing up at her.
Oh thank god Elevator.

"Dont be sorry, I am your lieutenant and thus i should remember my place, im sorry for asking something none of my business." She went back into 'military' mode for that one sentence. She did know Zinkenite thought of her more than just a disposable, but she did overstep and ask something that was probably private. If it was something that would effect her, she trusted him to tell her.
She suddenly felt very awkward having him here... he was the first person she had allowed actually IN her apartment. He was going to learn about her just from her living environment... she knew how calculating his gaze could be. Give him an inch, he knows a mile. "The leopard was really the only thing i saw." She admitted sheepishly. "You and Uphane didnt look so good so i dont know what the hell happened to you two between point A and B." She was just glad she and Wolfram were there to protect them.
They stepped off the elevator and onto her floor with pretty much no incident. There were only 8 doors on each floor... hers was on the far left. "So uh, yeah. Welcome?" She said awkwardly. Not used to people inside her home.

"I didn't mean it like that Lieutenant..." he said with his words so tired they slurred at the edges. His head bobbed every time he closed his eyes as though the tired went days beyond the fight they just undertook.
"I promised...and I said I'd help deal with him... that's all, the Senshi don't need an Eternal like him...he's too charismatic." He shivered and closed his eyes again for a long moment before he glanced over her sparse...almost antiseptic apartment. "Nice place..." he said quietly.

"Not mine, just crash here." She said in a kind of 'matter of a fact' way. She ddin't want to go into it. One aspect of her life she did not talk about? Her bloodlines.
"Well... you wont be able to deal with anyone in THAT condition. Come on..." She guided him past the couch, where he probably thought he would be sleeping, and into the guest bedroom. On the full sized mattress she pulled back the top most covers. "I dont mind you messing up the sheets, before you say anything." She disappeared again... darting into another room. Returning back, she had a large sized first aid kit. "Ill need you to take that shirt off..."

God... a bed, could anything be more inviting? He was so close to just falling over and sleeping till he couldn't sleep anymore when she returned. Orders... instructions, there was no line between them in that moment of irritation.
"You keep -telling- me what to DO... you don't DO that." He snapped shaking his head vehemently "I at -least- earned my way to Captain, the least you can do is respect -that-." He said testily, more because he was too tied to smother his insecurities than any actual dislike of fayalite.
He waited for a long moment staring at her blank shocked expression before he did just what she asked and started to pull his shirt off before stopping.
"... its ******** stuck..." he added.

Blank expression indeed was what he got in return. ******** childish could someone be. The 'orders' she were apparently barking out were nothing more than suggestions to help him out. He was being ******** ridiculous! She felt her temper rising... it took some coaxing to put it back down.
"because apparently requests for your own GOOD are orders now." She whispered to herself, not really caring if he heard or not.
She was apparently out of line again. She just.. fine. He didnt want her to care about him, and treat him all military? She can just as well damn do that. "Well then might i suggest putting some water down your back to hopefully rehydrate the blood and unstick it." She made a note to add in 'suggest' so he doesnt bark back at her calling it an order.

"...yes." He grumbled to her half whispered reply... though he did at least turn red in the cheeks and then sighed..."Sure...fine... do you have a shower head that detaches? It's got to be better than that god damned storm... or the mud...or......well except the burns, that's going to suck." He trailed off sounding tired and dejected but he had to do this...there really wasn't another way short of ripping the shirt free.
"At least it's not more alcohol."

She winced at that. "No more alcohol unless you want to ingest it and remove the pain THAT way." She didnt need to tell him, her own look towards the kitchen suggested the 18 year old had a stash of alcohol somewhere.
"Yes its detachable. Its a stand in glass walled shower though, we could move a chair into it so you could sit?" More suggestions, not 'orders'.
"Ill put a towel in there... when you get the shirt off may i look at your wounds, captain?" Another question. She had to admit, part of her was hurt. But she did not blame him... the blue haired captain was only human... humans lashed out when in pain.

"....sorry." he said quietly and rubbed his eyes. "stupid to snap... You're a damned good lieutenant.... and friend. I'm just mad at myself for coming out worse than you."
That was hardly an awe inspiring confessional, but it was at the least an honest one. He was stronger, he could teleport and summon yoma and he'd gotten a raw deal of his own devices this past battle.
"Shower is a good idea...thank you..." He said quietly trying not to tilt to either side or to let himself snap again, he was too tired to be angry.

"I would have had to have been hospitalized if i had continued to fight this one senshi." She said right before walking out of the guest room and grabbing a chair somewhere in the house. She didnt really care if water messed it up, not like anyone usually ate at her dining table anyways. "A stupid siamese feline jumped in and fired me with a bolt." She lifted her arm, showing the scorch marks. "So.. honestly you probably were worse for wear because you didnt run." That should have been an ego booster for him.
Though she left out the reason WHY she ran, being allergic to cats...
"Your a good Captain, boss. And no... im not angry. Being hurt brings out the worst in us." Some more than others. It was only human nature to alst out when vulnerable, you didnt want any 'predators' getting too close. Law of the jungle.. a injured and cornered animal is a dangerous one.

He took a deep breath and let it out slowly before raising one arm and turning it to glance at the whitened scar that ran from just above his knuckles and a few inches up his arm in a distorted 'star' shape. Little doubt if you knew what could make that -why- it was that shape either.
He'd have to show it to her after if she hadn't already seen. "I know that cat." He told her as he turned on the water, he didn't dare run it too long, didn't want to start bleeding a lot.
"I'll be out in a sec..." He said letting the water get warm enough that he'd at least be comfortable before opting to half stand in the tub and soaked his shirt...and trousers in a moment of 'well that was dumb'. He cursed the saturated pants but bid them off as a loss, it wasn't like he was in the mood to bend to get them off anyhow, let alone his shoes.
"I think I know why most people who go to war, go to war at a greater age, or where there is a lower legal drinking limit." He said borrowing the darkest towel he could find before opening the door.
"Because drunk would be the only way to explain just how stupid leaving my trousers on was when I did that."
He paused and raised his hand to show her. "It's name is Chloe...and I should have broken its neck."
