Character Information
Character Name: Lazuli Silvervein
Gender: Female
Race, Class, and Spec: Goblin, Warrior, Prot (Fury)
Appearance: Upon first sight, what stands out the most about Lazuli is the contrast between her short, slicked back blackish-blue hair and her bright yellow-green skin. Like the rest of her race, her ears are large, long and possessing multiple piercings. Her face is sharply angled, and centered around a... generously sized nose and two average sized brown eyes. On her cheeks appear to be dark green speckles, although whether they are actually "Goblin Freckles" or simply the strange remains of childhood illness remains to be seen.
Compared to her Goblin peers, Lazuli is a little on the tall side. She comes in at around an inch or three taller than most. Her body is lean and muscular, as one might expect from a thug. Despite all of the time she's spent working as an enforcer and bodyguard, Lazuli's managed to keep most of her injuries and scars hidden and out of sight. None are visible unless she's scantily clad.
When it comes to the clothing she wears, Lazuli has two modes- Work mode and "casual" mode. Her "work clothes", so to speak, consists of well worn plate mail, a one handed sword and shield. Compared to the equipment she had on Kezan, her current set is rather meager. However, she's working with what she can afford, and will hopefully be able to by something nice and shiny to replace it soon. Casual clothing wise, she prefers practical clothing. If it isn't something she couldn't potentially fight in with ease, Lazuli would rather not wear it.
History: Born and raised in the Dredge Town of Kezan, the majority of Lazuli’s youth was difficult and filled with hard work. Whether she was panhandling on the streets or working with her six older brothers on the docks, Lazuli found that there was always something that needed to be done, and nearly almost always someone willing to pay someone else to do it for them.
It had been a matter of luck (and her good looks) that gave her a chance at a better life- or at least a life with more money in it. One day while working on the docks, one of the rich Trade-Princess "potentials" came looking for some extra guards to serve as her entourage while she attended a party. While Lazuli might not have been as strong as a Hobgoblin thug, she had, at least, a much more pleasant face.
During the festivities of her first night on the job, Lazuli ended up overhearing about a plan that her employer's rivals had thought up with malicious intent. Not wanting to lose a well-paying job, Lazuli informed her somewhat incredulous employer of the plot against her. Despite that, Lazuli did what she could to keep scandal from the Trade-Princess Potential and managed, much to everyone's surprise, to thwart her employer's rival's plans. While such actions didn't endear her that much to Kezan's upper-crust, it was enough to convince her employer that she was worth keeping around on the payroll.
Unfortunately for Lazuli, her employer wasn't the most popular among the socialites. While her business sense had been strong, most socialites refrained from associating with her when they could. While that suited her employer fine, it left Lazuli herself with little to do. After noticing that there was a perfectly capable employee with next to nothing to do on their payroll, Lazuli was put to work as an “enforcer”. She’d make her rounds around the city and would ‘enforce’ the contracts and deals that had been made… OR ELSE. While it was work that Lazuli didn’t mind as, after all, none of the people she dealt with were “Good” people by her own standards; it certainly was something that brought her to odds with a number of people she grew up and previously worked with.
When Mount. Kejaro finally blew, Lazuli was able to escape along with her employer with the Bilgewater Fleet.
Personality:
Likes:
Bartending
Despite her current occupation as a mercenary, Lazuli’s found that the odd jobs that she’s enjoyed the most have all been related to working at the bar.
When she had the money, Lazuli studied alchemy and mixology. While she wasn't one to go nuts with chemicals, Lazuli got a kick out of making new drinks and trying them out. Despite the risk of a terrible hangover and a horrible taste being left behind, the satisfaction that came with creating a successful concoction was appealing.
All the Glitters...
Well, so long as it's worth some gold, of course!
Sure, some might say that Lazuli's a bit greedy, but really... She's got to pay her repair bills somehow!
Work
Lazuli is a Goblin that easily falls into periods of restlessness. She needs to have something -ANYTHING- that will keep her moving or occupied in some way. Whether it's working on a hobby, trying to be better herself, or taking on yet ANOTHER job, the girl needs to stay occupied if only because she can't stand to waste time that could be used to do something that might be productive.
Exercising/working out
Lazuli enjoys staying and shape and being fit enough so that she can kill her enemies and do her job without getting too injured.
Dislikes:
Gnomes
Honestly, what are those fools thinking? Sure, their machines might be “safer”, but what’s the point of making something “safe” when you’ll end up spending the rest of your life in the red? ‘Sides, the best inventions are all weapons anyway.
Debt
Whether it’s in the form of money, favors, or something else, being in debt is something that Lazuli simply can’t stand. Lazuli is willing to do almost anything (providing it doesn’t conflict with a promise already made) to get out of debt.
Contract Breakers
Regardless of who the contract was with or what the promise made was, anyone who breaks a contract without some sort of renegotiation first is scum in the eyes of Lazuli.
No promise dodging, either! If you promised C’thun (or some other Old God) your first born, you better pay up. None of that- “Well, I’m a man and only like men, so I’ll never have any babies!” or “I’m sterile and can’t have children anyway!” nonsense. If you owe someone a baby, then you find some way to make your own or steal someone else’s!
The Ocean
As great as the deep blue seas might be, Lazuli tends to get a little panicky when in deep water. While she won't refuse to go on boats... Doing so is more than a little stressful for her.
Probable Allies:Other Goblins, Other members of the Horde, Anyone who is willing to hire her.
Probable Enemies: All Gnomes, Anyone who fits her dislikes, Whoever she's been hired to guard against/kill.

Did you read the rules?Yes! Asric and Jadaar are my favorites~! All right, so maybe that’s two instead of one, but… I wouldn’t be able to choose between the two!
