The idea on that thread must have gone somewhat like this:

"That Grunny Commander was holding a combin- uh, hey! Where did that paper go?"

"OVER THERE!"

"CATCH IT!"


This sort of ties in with the whole Gilroy type animated too. Animated whose loot is in the form of other animated (which have to be caught quickly before running away, fight themselves, or whatever). For example, that cash register boss could drop gold... as an enemy. After a long mostly 1 vs. 1 fight (with the boss based to make 1 vs. 1 fighting important, hurting AoE fighting and being a challange 1 vs. 1), it explodes to release a bunch of gold which starts swarming the players.

I've actually theorised that gold can't be Animated, as in your example - but that's a discussion for a different place and time, I fear. sweatdrop

Honestly, though, I hope something of this sort happens in the game, at some point - it's just too humorous to pass up. I think it works best with the loot running away, as long as it's something you actually want (a quest drop, or other valuable).

But I suspect more players would die of laughter, the first time, than of any threat the enemies posed... xp

Yeah, running away would be more amusing. Then not only do you have to fight the boss well, but right after that you have to quickly hit well aimed AoE's if you want to get a good reward.

That's an awesome fish.

As the others say, Gambino based things make sense.

Maybe if there are any flooded banks anywhere, or safe monsters (chests which actually attack - underwater of course - and then when they die release these)
